This is not an invited review but voluntary one. Visited Edinburgh center for a hearing test. Just cannot praise their service more. Senior Audiologist Stuart Lyness was very friendly, helpful and honest. He patiently explained everything. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and an acknowledgment that they cannot match the bigger chains on prices but can beat them on service. The centre was clean and refreshing.
Lovely clean clinic. The staff were welcoming, thoroughly professional and courteous. Level of care and attention was extraordinarily high. Emma Kidd Lead Nurse Practitioner and Stuart Lyness explained everything before being performed and my test results and options carefully. I would have no hesitation in recommending House of Hearing Edinburgh.
Iff I could give more stars I would. First class treatment from friendly staff. Connor was very thorough and explained in detail every aspect of my hearing test. If anyone due hearing test I highly recommend House of Hearing.
Delighted with the results from hearing aids recommended by Stuart Lyness and have peace of mind from the after care approach. The consultation was relaxed and combination of technology in the clinic, his knowledge and listening skills made it feel a great experience.
very efficient, professional service in a very friendly and informative manner.
I have been with House of Hearing for many years and always enjoyed a fantastic and prompt service. Fortunately I have been able to recommend House of Hearing to friends and relatives.
Courteous staff at reception and pleasant and knowledgeable Audiologists simply excellent all round.
My ears were clogged up and OTEX wasn’t removing it. I contacted my own GP but couldn’t be taken for a few weeks. This was similar for Boots and Specsavers ( who have a wax removal service) . I contacted House of Hearing on the Friday and they gave me an appointment for the next day Saturday— yes Saturday, the others don’t operate on the weekend.
They checked my ears and removed the wax. They detected a possible infection so they took photos and sent them with an email to my own doctors practice explaining what they found. I got a call on the Monday morning to go along so my doctor could check my ears out, and yes there was infection. They prescribed antibiotic spray as the people at HOH had suggested they might. I also have a follow up appointment with HOH a week or so later so they can monitor my progress. To finish I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and efficiency of House of Hearing.
Time and trouble was taken to ensure my new hearing aids were working properly and fitted well with repeated visits as required until I was happy with them.
On every visit that i have made the staff are always very pleasant and nothing is a problem to them. Would recommend to anyone having hearing problems and looking for advice.
Very professional service. Also, told me about a voucher I did not know I had - very honest!
I would have been happier to pay for the audiogram as I feel a bit indebted to you. Ellis as a trainee was exceptionally gentle cleaning out my ears. Very professional service by all. Access to costs of aids - I might have asked - as it would make a difference to what disability I might tolerate.
From stepping into house of hearing all the staff were polite, friendly and exceedingly helpful. My husband was wanting new hearing aids, Stuart Lyness Senior Audiologist was brilliant, took great care in explaining everything as things were not straight forward with my husbands ears / hearing. He did not try and push the most expensive option but gave us information and let us choose with no pressure. 100% recomend
Everything was very helpful and professional. Level of care and attention extraordinarily high.
Stuart Lyness was very caring and provided very high level of useful detail
Competent and thorough. Clear memory of my history. All staff cheery and friendly. Very convenient location.
