This site is a godsend for pet owners who need to travel without their pet(s). It saves you time looking for someone and the service is free.
Its also a good way for people who like travel and animals to try out different places, also free! You also get to know really nice people. A win-win situation🤗

The 1:1 approach from Lamia IS the cherry on top and what sets HSM apart.

Using HouseSit Match was easy and has only brought us great house-sit opportunities. We will continue to use their services.

We have recently had our dog sitters. This saved the expense and the worry of sending the dogs to kennels. Some difficulties were experienced in setting up our details on the HouseSitMatch website, but the HouseSitMatch staff were helpful, and talked us through our problems, so everything was quickly sorted.

Our first house sit was brilliant and the couple were lovely and helpfull, and the cat Milo easy to look after.

From the moment that we arrived and were greeted with delicious homemade soup, it felt like home , nothing was too much trouble, the house was clean, tidy and we were generously given the car for our stay.
We chatted as if we'd know each other for years , before going to bed.
The next day we took the owners to the airport and then our holiday house sit began.
Would recommend everyone tried this company they were so helpful.

This was my second time using HouseSit Match and it went equally as well.

It's a bit of a leap of faith having someone you don't know in your house looking after your "little people" but Lamia and the team work hard to make sure that everything is in place and to give advice as and when needed.

I have used HouseSitMatch twice now to find sitters to care for my home and dog while I traveled. Both times I have been exceptionally pleased with the sitters, from application to end of the house sit. I also find the website easy to use and their support quick and personal. I highly recommend!

The contact between house sitmatch and myself and the house owners was very good. We both signed a good contract for that period.

We were connected via HSM with a home owner in Estepona, just outside Marbella, Spain, for a sit in November 2018.
I cannot speak highly enough of the HSM team (especially Lamia Walker) for their hands-on approach ensuring that both sides (home owner and sitter) have absolute confidence about the entire process.
We loved getting to spend time in a gorgeous villa a short drive to beaches and charming towns.
The pets - two adorable little dogs - made the sit even better! Getting us up for their morning walks, cuddling when we had down-time, and urging us out for an evening stroll enhanced the sit.
Our experience with home owners via HSM has always been good: in this instance we also had a wonderful time getting to know the owner and her partner, who made us not only feel welcomed, but were great fun to spend time with just before they left and on their return.
I'm looking forward to our next sit!

Efficient, caring, helpful and comprehensive. Help is on hand even sometimes before you have noticed you need it.

It is early days as we have only had one sitter from Housesitmatch but the personal service is very good.

It has been a pleasant experience from joining to securing our first trip thanks to HouseSit Match. Lamia and her team offer a bespoke service which is missing from the larger house sitting companies. Recommended without hesitation!

We have always had a brilliant service with HouseSitMatch. We feel secure in the knowledge that the sitters have been police vetted and each time it has been an excellent experience. (In fact in all cases we have become long term good friends with our sitters!) This company is not the largest you'll find on the web, but where it has the edge is in that personal service with business owner Lamia and her team always being willing to go the extra mile. I would not want to look elsewhere.
