Very dedicated team
Alex Taylor and his team have been great dealing with my property and they're always available. The cumulative fee with airbnb is high though so it may not suit everyone but for temporary letting the whole Houst team is very dedicated and did a great job.

The appartment is very nice, has a nice view on the river Liffey and is very clean. Access to the appartment is via key lock that is easy to find. The location is perfect, good bus connections, near the main city. The Hosts are very nice and answer very fast.

Negligent, dishonest, exhausting
The worst company I have ever dealt with.
We listed our house with Houst and it was a nightmare from start to finish. They repeatedly added unexplained charges such as “guest inspection fees”, yet were unable to tell us what incident had occurred or what the fee related to. When challenged, they justified this by saying they operate on small margins and therefore need to add additional charges. Resolving issues like this took hours of back-and-forth and was unnecessarily exhausting. They also seemed to make invoicing purposefully confusing to help hide these hidden fees.
When we eventually ended our contract, we faced similar problems trying to recover our deposit (why a deposit is required at all is unclear), obtain a refund for a cleaning fee we were double-charged for, and get our keys returned. Requests were repeatedly ignored, with excuses such as the keys being “located” following an office move.
We were then told they no longer had the keys because a guest had lost them and that Houst was not responsible. This was never communicated to us at the time and raises serious concerns, as it would imply the property was being managed without a spare set of keys. At best this is negligent; at worst, dishonest.
It ultimately required issuing a formal letter before action and threatening legal proceedings before Houst returned the money owed and paid for our locks to be changed.
This review only scratches the surface of the unprofessionalism, negligence, and lack of trust we experienced. The fact that Houst actively encourages guests to leave Trustpilot reviews, seemingly to dilute negative reviews from landlords, only reinforces how questionable their practices are.
Avoid at all costs.
