Paid mail shredder
They've recently started destroying mail after two weeks without warning, after years of not doing this. "According to their policy" says the crappy UI. Apparently it's too much to ask that they store some envelopes for a few days, for a paying customer. Who knows what the letters were that they destroyed, since they didn't photograph the envelopes.

We are unable to find any record of you as a customer, and the name you have provided is "Hoxton Mix customer." Despite this, we want to respond to your message, as it might help others.
As per our terms and conditions, section 7.1(f)1, any items not collected within 30 days from the date of receipt will be securely destroyed or sent to you at your expense.
During this 30-day period, we will notify you every other day to inform you that you need to collect your post or can have it scanned or forwarded for a small fee if you are strictly on a collection-only plan.
If you are an active customer, you can now log in to your customer portal to view a copy of the envelope and, if on a scan plan, also the internal pages.
However, it's important to note that if you are NOT an active customer, for example, those who cyber squat on the address or have cancelled accounts, we will return the post to the sender. We are not authorised to process posts for anyone who has not passed the necessary KYC and AML checks or who has cancelled their account and unauthorised us to process their post.

2 letters gone within 3 weeks, got the fine from hmrc thankful to this brilliant company. Not the first time when it happened, thought it's okay to lose one letter - till now. Today is the last day I've "used" your services, subscriotion cancelled and address changed. I warn anyone about using this kind of service, spare yourself from lost nerves and money for the garbage which is this company

Midlands Eco Domestic Solutions Ltd signed up with Tide on 29 March 2022, but Tide cancelled the account on 30 March 2022 due to failed payments. We do not control your subscription; your account is directly linked to Tide.
Six items were returned to the sender between 30 March 2022 and 5 May 2023 due to an inactive subscription. We wrote to you on eight occasions to inform you of this. Unfortunately, we cannot process posts for customers without an active subscription. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but opening posts for non-active customers would be a breach of GDPR hence, why we return it to the sender and ask them to forward it to the correct address.
Your January and February letters were forwarded to you on January 19th and February 27th. Regretfully, we can't forward or track letters that don't arrive at our Paul St office, but those that do arrive are recorded and sent the same day.

Our time with Hoxton Mix has been exceptional in every way
Our business has been with Hoxton Mix for a few years now, and have brought other businesses to them too now as our experience from beginning to end has been nothing but exceptional. It’s not the cheapest of these sorts of services but it is by far the best value to my mind. Contact is answered near immediately and always by the same people, this is not some operation with anonymous staff who give cut and paste responses, you build a real rapport with actual people. Customer support is helpful and really seems to appreciate your business. I honestly can’t fault them in any way.
