They did make a product and ship it, although years later several thousand people still haven’t received their orders, or their orders arrived literally shattered, or missing components.

I received my order, and it was pretty good. I liked that it was portable, had a sturdy stand, and a carrying case. I don’t like that cleaning it or using it as directed could result in breaking it.

There are obvious product design flaws, with many backers’ units failing catastrophically in the same spot, to the extent that should’ve been caught during the product testing phase they said they were investing more in. There are no replacement parts available despite the company saying purchases would be under warranty and replacement parts would be available for purchase. These guys will put their time and money into just about anything other than answering customer requests or sending customer orders or simply telling the truth.

Against the rules of their crowdfunding platforms, they used backer funds on fancy marketing materials and campaigns, and according to their financials officially filed in the UK, giving themselves personal loans of over £500,000 from the company’s (i.e. backer’s) funds. After all that, they claimed to be broke and unable to ship what backers had already paid for, unless backers paid even more money within a matter of hours. That’s a saga in and of itself, where people paid the additional amount multiple times (in some cases unintentionally) and still received nothing.

The team at CoffeeJack and HRIBARCAIN will blame almost anyone else in the universe for problems they caused themselves, or should’ve been aware of, or should’ve addressed in a timely way. They’re incompetent and dishonest, not least with their use of backer funds, and go out of their way to gaslight their backers.

This is the tip of the iceberg and you should go to IndieGoGo or Kickstarter to see the full story. Covid delays are not the reason for their catastrophic company management, misappropriation of backer funds, and treatment of their backers.

I wish I could recommend them, but they’re a disaster, and dishonest. People should steer well clear of CoffeeJack and HRIBARCAIN.

Many people have recommended other espresso tools, like Picopresso or Joepresso, and frankly, they are much better quality, much more affordable, and make better espresso.

If you are prepared to wait for shipment you paid 3-4 years ago go on.
Sory my bad. After 3-4 years I still did not get it. But they are good with communication. Like 1 email per week for more money.

if i could give negative I would....worst ever. Only delivery was one of three ordered (never got the other two) and the one I got was broken....

Payed for an item on kickstarter and never received it. They even demanded extra payment.

These two have strung backers along for years, with broken promise after broken promise, all while proclaiming they are super hard-working. Recently they claimed that there isn't enough money to send backers their items (shipping costs were paid 3 years ago) so asked for more money. Many were angry but many paid, and then that got messed up, too. But they sent some backers emails explaining why it wasn't their fault. Lie after lie, unsure whether incompetent or corrupt, but would advise everyone to avoid them like the plague.

Nothing to show from nearly £300 on their Coffeejack product and accessories since launch over 3 years ago. They post flowing bipolar updates regularly- we're at 99 now I seem to recall - and after finally telling everyone they are now ready to ship are demanding additional P+P payments to receive the item quickly. Despite being asked by countless backers via message if they will still send the item without this they have remained absolutely silent. Only frothy 'thanks for all the support, you guys are the best' messages when fewer that 1 in 10 messages are positive. They NEVER respond to messages and always add a frisson of disinformation to their posts to keep the gullible on the hook. They need to be investigated and I for one look forward to the TV documentary I have heard is being discussed by a couple of journalists who are also victims. Scam

Never delivered on 2 kickstarters

Coffeejack a terrible product, a complete scam. Broke after a few uses. Followed video instructions precisely.

3 year delay on kickstarter. More emails and paperwork just to receive nothing... More requests for money.... Everything very dodgy.

Making us wait 3 years for a coffejack then demanding an extra £12 for postage as you screwed up your costs, not a damn chance you scammers!

THey did a kickstarter campaign, 3 years post deadline and stll nothing shipped and now we are being asked to give them MORE momey for "postage". Complete scammers

Bought one of there Magno TI pencils and absolutely love it. Amazing quality and design. So unique and practical. Is a little on the pricier side but definitely worth it to me.

I mean magnetically controlled lead adjustment which also prevents lead from falling out by itself and dont need to hold down a botton while trying to get the right length. Plus has built in eraser and sharpener, what more can you want.

I only miss having a pocket clip to prevent it falling out of pockets easily but the titanium version gives it a bit more sturdiness to handle a few drops. Don't see it braking anytime soon for sure.

Bought one of their damascus steel knives, fell apart within a month of receiving it, and that's also baring in mind there was delays after delay posted on kickstarter. Avoid

Purchased one of their expensive pens. Thing broke less than a week into its use. Customer service has bickered with me for more than a month while I just try to get it fixed or replaced. Horrible.

How bad can the customer representatives be? I sent them a message on February 23rd and now it's March 4 and no response!
