Carl P & Damion delivered and installed 2 HSL chairs yesterday. They were on time. They were both very pleasant, helpful and informative.

The Peterborough showroom staff could not have been more helpful. Every detail was covered, ensuring the correct chair and bed were specified.
Delivery days were notified well in advance and the delivery team, Paul and Asad, arrived on time and installed the bed very quickly and efficiently. Their approach was friendly and courteous at all times.

The lady who we talked to was very good and explained the options and guided us to the correct choice for our needs.

I have recently purchased a bed for my mother from the Peterborough store where Pushpa was so friendly and very helpful but did not pressurise me into buying. Then today Armani and Raymond delivered the bed and ensured that mum knew how to operate it. They were so kind and efficient and very friendly it was a pleasure to see them. I couldn't have asked for better service and would definitely recommend HSL to anyone.

Ordered two Stressless chairs and the showroom staff at Peterborough could not have been more helpful. We spent over an hour with them assessing and more importantly sitting in the chairs. Our chairs were ready for delivery 4 weeks before we were ready for them but HSL were happy to hold onto them and call us at intervals to check progress. When delivered Terry and Chris were very quick, polite and respectful.

Easy parking, and we were warmly welcomed by Anna. I already had a fair idea of what I wanted from the website, but Anna was very thorough, going through all the points to ensure the chairs fitted us correctly and were comfortable. She was also very patient, waiting while we debated all the possible combinations of style, fabric and type of leg. At no time did she put any pressure on us to buy, and once our decisions had been made she worked out the total cost very clearly, and got us a very good discount.

We went here, there, and everywhere looking for armchairs,
but we ended up right back at HSL in Peterborough. ( see my other review )
They may not be the cheapest, but they are certainly worth every penny. The quality is far superior to anything else we saw, the service is unmatched, and it’s all made in the UK, which is a real bonus.
I had a truly fantastic experience with HSL. I received a phone call a week before delivery with the exact date and time slot, which was very reassuring. On the day, I got a courtesy call half an hour before arrival to let me know they were on their way.
The delivery van arrived right on time, and two extremely friendly and professional delivery team came to my door. They wore gloves, handled the furniture with great care, and treated my home with the utmost respect. After showing them where the chairs were going, they quickly assembled and tested everything.

As for the chairs, they are absolutely perfect for me. Incredibly comfortable with just the right amount of support in the lumbar and shoulder areas, which really helps open up my lungs and improve my breathing.

My husband and I visited the Peterborough store this morning. This is the second time I have bought from HSL, the first when I was waiting for hip and knee replacements. The person who served me then was Anna and she couldn't have been more helpful so I was delighted, a few years having passed, to find her there today. She couldn't have helped more and, best of all, there's no pushy salesmanship. We know the product is good quality and designed for "us oldies" or, indeed, anyone.
Delivery time is not too long and we look forward to it's arrival. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend HSL and the Peterborough store to anyone.

The chair is not delivered yet so my review is based on our store visit. will update when the chair arrives in about 7 weeks, as it is built to your size and covered with your choice of upholstery.

Very helpful assistant, friendly and welcoming. We didn’t feel pressured at all and the assistant made sure my husband tried all the different types of seats which were available. Being given coffee to make sure we sat long enough to be certain the seat we were thinking of purchasing was comfortable was a nice touch!

Brilliant experience in store today. Anna greeted us at the door, quickly understood what we were looking for, and found the perfect chair for my mum and her needs. We were offered coffee as we chose styles, colours and finishes, we couldn’t have received better service it was excellent and effortless. Both Anna and her colleague went the extra mile and we left with total confidence that in the next 6-8 weeks when the chair is delivered it will be fabulous. The shop was so well presented and clearly time is taken to understand the products, ranges and services and really understand what the customer is looking for.
