Took ages to arrive, and once they did at first I didn't think they looked too bad at all. But once I put batteries in and pressed the foot to go through the different options I was very disappointed. The sounds are so loud. The breathing is unnatural and off putting. The kids didn't like it. Definitely not how it is advertised!!
And as a safety fault for the little ones they are able to open the velcro and play with the battery compartment and wiring! After several emails over two weeks they offered 20% refund, then 30% refund. I was getting no where so disputed with the bank who refunded the money and following it up with the company.
Oh and I read these reviews after I bought it (regretting my purchases straight away) so emailed swiftly to stop the shipment. Suddenly the tracking service went from not shipped to shipped!!

The item is faulty and they are refusing to send a full refund. Have offered me 20% of what I paid. They seem to have one woman named Louise who is sending the emails. Don’t buy from them….clearly not a UK company as stated in their website. Misleading customers. Absolutely disgraceful.

My order arrived earlier this week. Put batteries in and the sounds are so loud and unnatural it’s going to keep you awake. As mentioned in other reviews it’s also not cuddly due to the large battery pack. I contacted customer support who are clearly trying to avoid refunding me. They are refusing to send a returns address and are currently offering 20%. I wish I had seen these reviews as I wouldn’t have bothered. The returns policy says they can be returned but the customer would need to pay delivery. They won’t give me an address to return to. I will try to claim through my bank. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Teddy took weeks to arrive, it's not huggable as its a solid hard box, and it's so loud when you have the breathing part on the mechanism is terrible

Ordered based on reviews on site wish I'd have checked here. Didn't get a hugglys bag as advertised. Ordered the panda. Not cuddley at all as huge battery pack inside. Not 4 modes as stated snoring, snoring and light, breathing and light then terrible music function. Very cheap quality. I'm so disappointed and such cheap quality. The fur is dreadful. One very unhappy little girl 😭

Was so looking forward to seeing if these could help me sleep after the sudden death of my husband.

Unfortunately I ordered before the negative reviews came in but yes the quality is awful, there is no heartbeat sound and all you can hear is the horrible whirring sound of the motor. The lullaby is very loud and tinny. Material is very poor quality you can see holes in the fur when the light comes on. As for the realistic breathing …. Am absolutely disgusted and have requested full refund under their 60 day free return policy but given the other reviews will be contacting my bank in the morning.

Bought 3 of the bears , unsafe product for children no backing to the battery compartment. Have not been offered a full refund just 20%

A Christmas present thrown in the bin

Ordered weeks before Xmas. Package sent to wrong depot. Arrived after Xmas. Horrid quality nothing like on photos. Shoddily made. Battery pack with long wires inside. Easy to get into the back and tangle in wires. Unsafe to be left with a child. No auto shut off after set time. Tummy sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. Contacted customer service who want a video to prove faults. Told them It’s not faulty it’s just bad quality and not as described. They emailed again asking for a video. Not jumping through hoops sending a pointless video so no doubt lost my £25 but hopefully paying forward to someone reading this who will not make same mistake I did. AVOID!

Avoid buying toys from Huggly. The toys are poor quality, there are no safety/fire safety labels on them which are required in the UK. Mine arrived with no battery compartment cover, the breathing sound is very unnatural, the mechanism is loud, it is not cuddly as the battery compartment is bulky & hard. The wires & batteries are easily accessible by a child. Customer service is not good, they keep offering me 20/30/50% refund but as yet have not provided me with returns information. Suggested I donate it to charity. Certainly not as it is not safe to use. Very disappointing.

AWFUL.

The toy arrived after a long wait. It is really poor quality, wires exposed and feels cheap and nasty.
The toy broke after a few days of using it.
Poor communication with the company and so far issue is unresolved.

I realised that this was a k ock off company as soon as order placed. Cancelled order within 3 minutes of online order but they are refusing to refund even through the order hasn't been processed...kee0 sending offers for 20% then 30% discount but saying no refund.....their website says full refund issued if not processed but they do not go by their own website it seems. I am currently trying to process a refund via my bank.

My daughter was looking forward to go to sleep with her new bear friend from Santa only to be woken up again in 5 min time as it stopped working! Customer service said it was programmed to work for 10 min so the product did not work as was promised. Their answer was to provide a 20% refund!! Honestly what an outrage!! I want a replacement or a full refund for a faulty product that obviously does not do what it promised! Do not buy!

Absolutely awful company and the toy is not safe for children let alone babies which is what it shows on their website. Do not be mislead, they are not a UK based company they are based in China so if you need to return you will have to pay the postage (even if the toy doesn’t work). I have battled with them
Since before Christmas to return the defective toy and get a refund. I was going to have to pay for it to be returned to China recorded as they wouldn’t accept it was defective even though I sent them a video and photos. It would have cost more than the toy. In the end I accepted a 60% refund (keep pushing them s they will of 30% at first). I have reported them to trading standards as have a few other people and they are taking it seriously as the wires are easily accessible as is the battery pack and I I would class this as a chocking hazard as well as a potential fire hazard. Do not buy - go to Smyths they have the same if not better and safer with British standard kite mark

I requested to return them only 2 days after I got them. Got the same 20/30/50% refunds offered that I've seen others mention on here so I wouldn't have to pay return shipping, and if I didn't want the product I could donate them. Clearly Hugglys are working win the more people buy their crap than return it so still profit... STAY AWAY

Same issue as others. The quality is horrible, and I tried asking to return them for a refund because the product page itself says FREE RETURNS within 14 days. I requested to return them only 2 days after I got them. Got the same 20/30/50% refunds offered that I've seen others mention on here so I wouldn't have to pay return shipping, and if I didn't want the product I could donate them. I just started a dispute directly through my bank, I'm hoping it goes through there instead, because clearly Hugglys does not want to let me return the product for a 100% refund.

Do not buy this product it does the complete opposite of what it’s meant to do. You can hear the mechanics of the heart beating which is not soothing and the lullaby is very high pitch and loud.

My son hates it and o don’t blame him

Awful company!!!! Do not buy. Product arrived faulty and unsatisfactory. Really disappointed with the quality and was not to standard as expected. Emailed constantly for the last 2 weeks trying to arrange return and refund to be told they were just going to send me another one. Which I stated I didn’t want as it’s not of a good quality and the noises are dreadful! They only offered me 30% refund (£9!!!!! )) for a product I don’t want or to the expected satisfactory standard!!! Absolutely disgraceful. Dodgy company.
