Perfect job servicing my rare Citizen
Perfect job servicing my Citizen. I contacted a number of official Citizen service centers and official partners, and only Hurley Roberts had the part for my 90's "Vintage" model. When I asked if my watch would be difficult for them, they assured me that they *only* repair Citizens, and it would come back to me perfect. They were right.
My vintage Aqualand may be quartz, but is highly specialized and so I wanted a professional to replace the battery, calibrate the depth sensor, replace all gaskets, replace the crystal, and depth test the watch. I admit I did have a bit of sticker shock, but it was appropriate for what I was asking.
If I have any qualm, communication and speed could be improved. I did get a notification when the watch was received, when there was a quote ready, and when it was shipped to me. But there were weeks of waiting between these times, and on one occasion I only got an update after emailing them to inquire, I feel like my watch was briefly forgotten. Total time between them receiving my watch and when I had the watch back in my hands was roughly 19 weeks, or 4 1/2 months. I think that's actually pretty typical timing for an official service center, and I understood there would be a Covid-19 related strain. But I would have preferred a bit more communication. Fortunately, I have other watches to wear while waiting, and now my Citizen is back.

I have utilized Hurley Roberts before to order watch bands, but this time my watch died and wanted it repaired. The watch was a favorite and complexed with scuba dive capability, so it had to be properly repaired. Hurley Roberts kept in touch during the process and replaced the various seals and other crucial parts. I am very satisfied with their service and fully recommend them.

My Citizen watch looks brand new.
I received my Citizen watch back this February 2020 and it looked brand new. I sent it in last year in March or April of 2019 and was informed it would take a while because of Covid 19 and getting parts. They routinely informed me of the delays. It took a while, but I knew that going in. I couldn’t be happier to have it back in working order and all shined and new looking. I think they did a great job given the situation. Will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

My experience with Hurleyrobertsservice was wonderful. It did take a while for my watch to be fixed but when they wrote to tell me what was needed and how much it would cost I understood the time needed. They would not start work until I approved it.
My watch had stopped working they replaced the solar cell and cleaned the mechanisms in the watch and then cleaned the band and everything. It looks beautiful again.

Excellent job on repairing my father’s watch. I didn’t think it could be fixed. But they did it for a reasonable price.
Second review from a repeat customer
I first used Hurley Roberts in 2017 after being told by the Citizen repair center that they could not longer repair my early 2000s EcoDrive dive watch. They offered 50% off on a new watch and they would keep my old watch. I wasn't ready to throw in the towel on a watch that I had for so long...I had them send it back.
I called Hurley Roberts and a tech actually kept me on the phone while he checked to see if he had a drive in stock for my water-damaged watch. They did and he said he would put it aside to use in my time piece if I wanted to send it. I sent it to them and they refurbished my watch and pressure tested it.
I recently sent it in for a check-up and crystal replacement. It took a little longer to get it back this time due to COVID staffing (I was worried for a minute), but it finally arrived the other day with a new crystal and seals/gaskets.
I'm glad they are in business and wouldn't send my watch anywhere else for repairs.

Excellent workmanship, long delays during COVID backlog
I’d give Hurley Roberts a 5-star review for the quality of workmanship. The few months delay due to COVID, working from home, and backlog influenced my rating. I did receive periodic emails apologizing for the delay. I would suggest the website inform customers on the likely duration of a repair delay so an informed decision or option to use an alternative repair venue can be made by a customer.
Always Reliable
From cleaning the timepiece, replacing the bracelet, or diagnosing and repairing why my Citizen EcoDrive stopped keeping time accurately, Hurley Roberts Service has always come through.
I always know the cost up front and have the option to proceed or decline the repair. When the repair is delayed due to ordering parts, Hurley Roberts keeps me informed. I would recommend this service without reservation.
Recommended source for OEM bracelets
Hurley Roberts was recommended to me to get a hard-to-find OEM bracelet for my watch. They didn't have the bracelet I wanted in stock, but ordered it for me from Japan. It took a while to get here, but they kept me informed all the way through the process. Once it arrived, they shipped it out to me promptly, and the bracelet was exactly what I wanted.

It should be shared that the repair…
It should be shared that the repair will take two months before you pay for the repairs. After paying then it was told to me and I chose to not have the work done. The back logged state should be right up there in front. I know that doesn’t make biz sense. My I watch has died in less than two years. Warranty one year. I will get this citizen eco fixed and wear it another fifteen years. It’s not right to hold folks money while they wait. We are getting used to that but I’m not.
