Kevin is AMAZING
Kevin is such a great help. I cannot tell you how appreciative of him that I am. I must have asked him a thousand questions and he did not waist a moment answering any of them. I also asked him for a few (6 or 7) different quotes trying to find a system that worked for my application. WOW, I would want Kevin to work for me at my office, no joke. Thank you Kevin. I am looking forward to installing one of these systems :)
Don't shop here! Terrible customer service,
The website stated the unit I needed for a client would ship in "1-2 business days." After four days with no update or tracking, I attempted to message customer support. The responses I received were all in poor, broken English, and when I tried to call them at 0800 on a Tuesday morning, "call volumes were too high, and they would have to call me back." Terrible customer service, and I will do my best to ensure none of my fellow contractors here in Louisiana ever use them.

After 21/2 months of waiting for the compressor of my split Ac unit (sales said "I" had to re-order the entire system) Brittany in service was able to Expedite & re order the correct part for me. It was delivered just a few days after. Prior to Brittany's involvement, no one else

My furnace came damaged and I have spent 2 days trying to get some help
With this issue to no prevail I wish it was as easy to get help with their service as it was to order their product but it doesn't seem to be the case

I received damaged products
I received damaged products, this is the second time. The first time the evaporator coil fins were push in an did not look like a product one pays full price for. I received a $75 credit for that one. And I was ok with that because you really could not see it once it was installed. The second incident the housing on the coil was bent and it appears to ave been dropped. We are having triple digit heat here and to have to wait not only for a response from them but also to get any type of satisfaction or solution. Try it for yourself, you can't get through to customer service ad when you selec a call back they call you at 10 pm.
If you can find what you need elsewhere it's worth it, this company doesn't care about it customers.

Stay away
I have done about $30000 in business with this company. I like the product and the ease of installation. However doing business with hvacdirect has been a nightmare. I have placed orders and have been told one thing from the person who I placed the orders with to just find out everything they have said was 100% deceitful. From equipment being on back order several times to sending me open box units that had damage.
I will just continue to do business with our local distributors instead of this company

It all came in damaged. Need to return it. Get a whole new set. Been waiting a week for a response. Nobody’s called me back. Nobody’s email me back so it’s been a bad yes, and I sent them pictures of the same day back to the email. You guys gave me customer service HVAC whatever the email was I sent them out the same day and I didn’t see anything come back and it’s been a week. Would you like to see the email again I have a copy of it and the pictures that I sent to your customer service were they told me to send it?

Zero customer service
Zero customer service. I emailed numerous times, chatted their “24/7” online chat assistance, and called countless times throughout the day only to be cut off around the ten minute wait period everytime. I requested callbacks and nothing. It may be a true scam company. Very disappointed and frustrated that a company like this can continue to operate.

I had a very disappointing experience with HVAC Direct. I purchased an AC unit, expecting delivery within a week as stated on their website. Instead, I waited over eight weeks without receiving any updates. This delay significantly impacted my family's health, especially living in Florida where AC is essential.
During this time, HVAC Direct falsely claimed they had the unit in stock. To make matters worse, they canceled my order without informing me. I had paid for the unit through Bread Financial, which not only affected my credit but also led to a payment being taken despite not receiving the product.
When I tried to communicate with HVAC Direct, I encountered rude customer service and was simply told my order was canceled, without any explanation or attempt to rectify the situation. They refused to replace the unit, leaving my family to suffer in the heat.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would caution others against using HVAC Direct.

Chris is outstanding over at HVAC Direct, he seems very knowledgeable and very helpful. I was a tech for many years and changed states so lost all the new technology and lingo, Chris hit it spot on and this is a unit being installed for myself for customers to see when I am relicensed in Idaho. Chris and their staff can answer questions well and the prices are decent, remember rebranded hvac units are the same as expensive rand named ones so I had no issue trying ACIQ and hope it's everything I think it is. Thank you Chris for all your help, hope the boss gives you a pat on the back as you will bring in more business from us over here in Idaho.

Miguel is a hero!! I apparently ordered the wrong system. He was able to assist me and stop the first shipment prior to being shipped and ordered the correct unit for me. All in one call, AMAZING!
HVACDIRECT.COM and Perfect Aire are bad companies to deal with
I purchased a Perfect Aire 3 zone mini split system from HVACDIRECT.COM. First year a fan was defective. 2nd year, after the 1 year warranty expired, 2 air handlers leaked. I purchased 2 new air handlers. 3rd year, the 3rd air handler leaked. Lasted 1.5 months, it leaked. Replaced it and the tech checked the system, the 2 air handlers I purchased last year leaked. At this point HVACDIRECT.COM is wanting videos of the leaks and installations, even though the system was installed by licensed a/c tech and leaked checked by the tech. Obviously Perfect Aire is an example of cheap Chinese junk and HVACDIRECT.COM has no qualms regarding selling a poor quality product or standing behind the product. I'm replacing the system since I can't afford the service calls and freon.

Shipped without care *beware*
Would never buy from them again. Product was shipped in a makeshift fashion, was not secured to the pallet and ended up banging up against the wall of the freight truck. When I inquired about getting a replacement or a partial refund, the company said they do not consider Cosmetic damages as grounds for partial refund. I am currently waiting for someone to contact me from the freight company however, I do not feel this should be my responsibility to address. Now I will have to delay my installation due to t to his mess. What’s frustrating is it’s hard to get a hold of anyone especially those within their damages department. For a company that appears to be centered on customer experience I can say I wish that I had just bought from a local distributor. I would either like a replacement sent ASAP or a partial refund issued
