I had my hair transplant at HWT in Istanbul about four weeks ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and care.

From the very first consultation, Hugo guided me through the entire process and made sure everything was organized. On the day of my operation, I was warmly welcomed by the team. After the routine blood test and ECG, I had my consultation with Dr. Mehmet Can Saki—a highly skilled and experienced surgeon, also a member of the European and Turkish Board of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon.

Alongside him, Dr. Onur Karayel, the DHI specialist, performed the surgery flawlessly and completely pain-free. I also want to highlight Hafsa, who supported me throughout the day, ensuring everything went smoothly—she’s truly a credit to the clinic. Finally, Dr. Asuman Dinçer, the anesthesia specialist, made the entire procedure completely comfortable and painless.

The clinic also arranged all logistics, including airport transfers and hotel pick up which made the whole experience stress-free.

If anyone is considering a hair transplant, I cannot recommend HWT in Istanbul highly enough. You will be in the best hands and receive world-class treatment.

Very well organized process from start to finish. Coming from the US, I did quite a bit of research since chest/abdomen hair implants are not only very uncommon in America, they’re expensive. I contacted HWT Clinic a little less a month before my procedure since I already had a pre planned/pre booked vacation to Turkey coming up and most correspondence was done through WhatsApp. The clinic was quick to reply and quoted me what I thought was a very reasonable price for 3000 grafts. When I arrived in Istanbul, they arranged transfers to/from my hotel for the procedure and follow up, and everyone I met at the clinic was kind, helpful, and took great care of me. I’m home now following the very detailed instructions for aftercare and the pain/swelling have been fairly minimal. I look forward to seeing the results over the next few months, but based on my experience, I would highly recommend HWT Clinic if you’re looking for something besides a standard hair transplant, although I’m sure they do those quite well too. Ask for a consult and they will tell you if you’re a good candidate (or not, like my partner LOL) and arrange everything else for you.

Can’t thank Hugo and all of the team at HWT Enough, communication from start to finish was brilliant, the facilities at the clinic are absolutely spotless, the procedure it’s self was also very smooth and pain free, my return flight time wasn't great, but the team at HWT had someone open the clinic early for me to ensure I got my first wash before leaving, I would and already have highly recommended HWT.

My husband had his surgery in this clinic. After that, two more of our friends went there. The third time I went myself. What I saw shocked me! I will never be able to recommend this place again. Stay away! I'll start with the most shocking thing - they performed my surgery in a non-sterile room! All the doctors were without disposable gowns, without masks. They all used mobile phones for household purposes during the procedure.
I was lying on the operating table in the STREET shoes I came in!!!! The shirt they put on me - they took it out of the laundry basket before my eyes (I don't believe that this actually happened). What kind of institution is this??? You should lose your medical license! Thank you for not giving me an infection or blood poisoning! The date of my operation is April 15, 2025 - you can check on the cameras.

I came to Turkey for my hair transplant because I knew people that had been here before but that didn’t stop me from being nervous. I was put at ease straight from airport pick up. Everyone at the clinic was helpful and very professional. The hotel was amazing and the food was lovely. The clinic was clean and spotless. I couldn’t get all the area done in one go so will have to come back but I wouldn’t go anywhere else other than HWT. Professional, clean and spotless. Massive thank you to Hugo for being there whenever I had a question no matter how trivial and well done to everyone involved in my transplant. I can’t rate them high enough.

I am writing this review 3 days after my hair transplant at HWT Clinic it was highly recommended to me from a friend who had a hair transplant at HWT 4 years ago and had a great experience and a fantastic end result. My own experience was also great from the first time I contacted them Hugo got back to me straight away with what I would need, answered all my questions and got me booked in for the operation. I flew out to Istanbul on the Monday HWT sorted all the transport from airport to hotel and hotel to clinic then back to airport in luxury modern minibuses. HWT sorted my 2 night stay in the lovely titanic hotel very clean, modern, good food, breakfast included, swimming pool, spa and gym. Operation day was superb arrived at very clean clinic with wonderful staff who looked after me all day throughout the procedure I got 4000 grafts. I received my 1 year worth of aftercare products after the operation with a leaflet on how and when to use everything and also got sent videos via WhatsApp on how to look after myself in hours after operation. On the day I flew home they picked me up from hotel took me for my first wash at the clinic then took me to airport to fly home. I would like to thank everybody at HWT clinic for a wonderful experience and I can’t recommend them enough. I can’t wait to see my results in 6/9/12 months time from now.

The HWT team organized all the logistic at Istanbul, transportation, hotel and the Hair procedure. That helps to not worry about all those details, and focus in arriving, having the procedure, rest and come back safe! The service at the clinic was friendly, thanks to the team for having an English translator, things were smooth, and now post Op, taking care and will have to wait for the final results, thanks to HWT team!

Outstanding Experience at HWT Hair Clinic in Istanbul

I recently had the privilege of undergoing a hair transplant at HWT Hair Clinic in Istanbul, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! From the moment I reached out for information, Hugo was incredibly helpful and attentive. He organized everything seamlessly, from providing clear details about pricing to thoroughly explaining what the procedure would entail. His support extended to arranging transportation to and from my hotel, making the entire experience stress-free.

I had a hair transplant at HWT following a friend’s suggestion. The place is nice and cozy: I was alone alone at the clinic with the full team taking care of me. The operation was smooth and not painful at all. It’s great that you don’t have to think about anything and they arrange a seamless solution start to end. I’m in the post-op so too early to talk about the results, but I would suggest them for the service. Hugo, who assisted me remotely for the booking and all the questions is super nice and available, he adds much value to experience.

My second time with the clinic. It says it all! I am a model so my hair is a priority. Great staff, great results, top level equipments and techniques. Plus the obvious charms of Istanbul. An absolute must.

I went to the HWT Clinic from the US at the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed. From the very first point of contact with the clinic up until the last, everyone that I dealt with was kind and professional. The clinic is nice, clean, and organized. Every step of the way was explained to me and they made sure that I was comfortable. The after care process and follow up has been great. If you are on the fence about getting the procedure done, just do it at HWT Clinic and you’ll be glad you did!

I am only a few days post op but I can happily leave a review of my experience with HWT. Everything was great from start to finish. Hugo answered any questions promptly and provided all the information I needed before and during my trip to Istanbul. The staff at the clinic were welcoming and friendly and provided everything I needed. Finally, Titanic Hotel is a fantastic hotel with great staff. Especially the restaurant which serves excellent food at a good price. Overall I would and will recommend HWT Clinic for a hair transplant and will now just be hoping the results are as good as the experience I had.

Only 21 days post op today, so still a way to go, but I can certainly comment on the experience at HWT, it was truly exceptional, from booking to the private car from & to the airport, the operation day at the clinic + all the aftercare is really brilliant, I'll update with photos later in the year when I take after shots to go with the befores.
