Overpriced

Overpriced, buggy, and the service is trash. Not as compact as they claim. Integrations don’t work - pairing for Apple Watch effectively does not work.

I just started on Wednesday

I just started on Wednesday. I have diabetes and severe depression. This is a game changer. So far everything is right. I promise to give you constructive feedback if I feel it will help. In the meantime you might want to target some marketing towards mental health. I was truly happy yesterday all day for the first time since in forever. People who are depressed have a hard time moving. We get deep in our heads. This creates some sort of brain block, not being able to remember that 10 minutes of focused exercise can bring your head out of a bad place and of course there’s the endorphins!!!!

Unfortunately had a very bad…

Unfortunately had a very bad experience. Excited to get the Hydrow and begin rowing. Wks went by finally a delivery date was scheduled. No one showed up. Called Hydrow. Basically our machine got lost and Hydrow just kept sending us emails that it had been found but machine never appeared. This went on for weeks. Hydrow eventually stopped responding to my emails. I had to call several times and threaten to report to my CC company before they would issue a refund. Hydrow blamed the delivery company said they couldn’t issue a refund. After 2 mths I finally received a refund so I could purchase a different rower. Very stressful experience.

Love the machine

Unimpressed with the content.

I bought my Hydrow a few years ago. For the price of it, I was really disappointed with the membership. For $44 a month, I expected so much more content. Or apps. Or access to plain old Netflix, because really, sometimes I just want to watch tv. I don’t need someone cheering for me. The machine itself is a nice experience but I could buy something much cheaper and just use my TV for rowing videos there (or you know, Netflix).

Easy for Anyone New to Rowing

The beginner training camp made it easy to get started and to learn the fundamentals of rowing. The instructors are engaging and entertaining throughout the sessions.

Beautiful piece of equipment

So far I’m loving my new hydrow. The workouts are diverse in many ways. I plan on holding on to mine until the handle snaps off.

Well made product. Amazing customer support

I recently purchased a Hydro Wave after debating whether to get one. The instructors are world class, but ultimately very relatable in how they teach and the scenery in the videos are breathtaking. Before and following my purchase, I had some questions about the rower and found Hydro support to be extremely responsive. They really wanted to ensure that i'm a happy customer that's part of the Hydro community for a long time. That was impressive. Alex was especially helpful. Highly recommended!

The rower is very smooth

The rower is very smooth, but the best motivation is the instructor. Overall the experience is better than I had anticipated. I have used other rowers in the gym, but Hydrow is fun.

I have now worked out five day…

I have now worked out five day straight. I was definitely not very humble as I approached this workout and fortunately I decided to follow the beginner courses because it’s kicking my butt. The machine is smooth and very solid. The instruction is perfect for me, keeps my form good and the scenery is beautiful. The instructors are good and get my competitive spirit going.

Working to Be Fitter & Leaner 74 Year Old

I have carefully used the 1-2-3 10 minute learning sessions followed by one of the 5 minute cool down sessions. It is encouraging to have the different trainers teaching proper form and breathing techniques as well as rowing along the Charles River or beautiful waters in the Bahamas. I have taught yoga for 6 years and now teach gentle yoga 3-4 days a weeks to Seniors, so my legs and glutes are in great shape & I find it easy to push my effort up on the rower quite quickly. The rower will really help me develop my core, shoulders, and arms.
I am recovering from some minor surgery I had on the 22nd and can't wait for my surgeon to release me to exercise and teach yoga again in 2 weeks!

We love our new Hydrow!
From the ordering though the shipping and delivery, we were well notified and knew exactly what to expect. The workouts are fantastic and the Hydrow team is informative and fun! And there are so many workouts and locations we will never get bored of doing the same old things. So happy that we made the choice to go with Hydrow!!!

The Hydrow Wave Rower never arrived

The Hydrow Wave Rower never arrived! Despite FedEx insisting it was delivered. I complained to Hydrow Customer Service who agreed that it was odd that the photo for proof of delivery was a blank black Square (no picture). I was told a “senior management” representative would look into this and I would receive an immediate email confirmation of my complaint. 24 hours later still no email confirming my complaint or what Hydrow is doing to correct this. Very frustrated!

My advice to any one who is about to purchase a Hydrow rower would be to hold off on the subscription until you actually receive your rower. Several other reviews who had experiences like me with delivery said it took almost a month to finally get their Hydrow. That’s a month of paying for a subscription you cannot use.

My advice to Hydrow is to look into a different delivery option than FedEx. Multiple reviews describe poor delivery. Boxes destroyed, equipment broken, one review even stated that it appeared a fork lift had punctured the box and machine. It seems FedEx isn’t up to the task to deliver your products. Maybe find a carrier who can lift and move heavy boxes, while respecting your product and business relationship.

I would like to be clear my review is not about the rower itself. I want the rower which by my research would be perfect for me. I’m frustrated because I spent close to $2,000 dollars and have received nothing. There seems to be no urgency to correct this from FedEx or Hydrow.

WOEFUL ROW

Hi Hydrow.
Sadly, my in the initial delivery of my Pro the "boxing" was VERY damaged, laying on its side in the delivery truck (not upright as specified on the packing), and had been "stabbed" with a forklift. I had waited quite a while for my Hydrow and having to send it back and wait ... again ... for a replacement delivery was hard to do.
The Customer Team members I spoke with were knowledgeable and helpful but a couple of them were difficult to understand.
On its arrival and power-up the rower would not connect with my modem and required yet another call to Customer Service. After some resetting and rebooting, it finally connected and, for the last week, operation has been flawless.
I wish I could've started rowing a month ago.

My Hydrow strap is failing after only…

My Hydrow strap is failing after only 10 rowing exercises, I’m hoping that Hydrow will contact me soon but I’m very disappointed with this quality issue , I absolutely love the rower otherwise but the strap shouldn’t be fraying and falling apart after such little use
