After sales.

I have never known better after sales service than I have received from this company.
My bike is one of their Aarhus step-thru models, and I couldn’t be more pleased with it.
The guys have really supported their product, and gone the extra mile to make sure that my ownership experience is truly five star.

Great company. Great bikes.

I’ve been researching e-bikes for all terrain for a while and I’m so glad I chose Hygge. What sets them apart from other vendors for me is the top level customer service (Sam, Andrea, Hamad - thank you for your commitment to making customers happy) This isn’t some basic company that you can never get hold of, you can actually have a proper conversation with them because they respond to messages within hours. More than that they have a “can do” attitude and even arranged a 15-day home test because I couldn’t get to the London store (another difference right there: they have actual premises where you can test ride the bikes). As for the bikes (Vesters): So. Much. Fun. Solid build, quality kit, powers up hills, adjustable suspension, and really good fun to take it exploring through woodland paths (where cycling is allowed) - you just keep wanting to go out on it…Love it. In terms of practicality, you’ll soon be folding it like a pro but you might need a hand getting it into the boot if you have a high SUV as the fat tyres are heavy (but so comfy, it’s worth it).

Couldn't give Hygee a more positive review if I tried

I'll start with if you are considering an ebike then look no further than Hygge.

1. Well packed and takes only a few minutes to set up and get going (bit of an issue with the courier but that's not their fault).
2. Solid, comfortable ride. I haven't been on a bike in years and have no trouble and feel very confident on it after a few rides. I'm 5'5 and fits perfectly - even for short, overweight inflexible souls like myself!
3. Opted for Vester, possibly should have chosen a slightly lighter model as I need to lift it up stairs, but it's honestly worth the carrying.
4. Battery life is incredibly. I've only charged it twice so far and out every other day.
5. It just looks smart. Everything about it is sleek and the design and comfort elements blend together so well that they both seem a priority, instead on one or the other.
6. Be prepared for everyone asking questions about it 😂

Honestly, the best purchase I have made. Worth the extra money over cheaper options. Plus the customer service has been incredible so feel 100% confident should any problem arise they will be there to assist. This is hugely important considering the cost.

Go for it!

Excellent product from an Excellent company

I have just received my first order with this company - Hygge Vester Step Folding e-bike which I am delighted with.
The communication was excellent and Andrea was able to complete my order on the information I provided.
The cycle arrived within three days which is impressive and was packed well and showed that care had been taken. I will definitely purchase future cycling related goods from this company. David

Hygge Virum

I made an enquiry and got a pleasant reply. It was made easy to contact the Hygge shop in London. Buying an electric folding bike was straightforward and i was pleased when the box was delivered , the bike was in excellent condition.

Highly recommended!!!!!

I really and truly don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion I really feel I have too, This company has been outstanding from day one, really happy with my bike ( Hygge Vester 2025) it’s amazing 100% legal in the UK and Europe, built to the highest standard (really strong frame with really good welding) I have strong confidence in the battery being Samsung and the charger has its own internal fan which keeps everything nice and cool when the charged is complete the battery turns off completely so no overcharging everything has been tested and approved and above all most the customer services is outstanding you can literally ask anything and you get virtually immediate replies with agents willing and keen to assist you in any way possible.. they feel like friends on the other end that you can freely/openly talk to about anything concerns unreal, me personally I couldn’t stand by and have a bad word said. I surely wouldn’t hesitate to buy another bike or product from this company! Both Andrea and Hamad are a true asset to their company!

Great quality and greay customer service

Bought one of their bike 6 months ago, the Vester step, really good bike, compact, good material. I then have had a small problem with the folding.
Since my first email they always showed their interest to fix the problem in a proper way and so they did. Couldn't be more glad to have choose them, would it again and again. Thanks a lot Hygge Bike 🤍

Great Bike

I'm very pleased with my new Hygge Vester. Having had it for a couple of months I can Give informed feedback from my experience. A good quality bike that is easy to fold and unfold to transport when necessary. It is sturdy but light weight for a bike of this type and it is comfortable to ride. The gear ratios are well chosen which adds to the ease of riding. The big tyres really help with stability when off road and are good on road too. Unfortunately the courier service by DX was terrible but that's a different story.

Love it

Love it! I purchased the Hygge Vester for my wife, but having used it myself for a few weeks I am loving it! I live in Wales surrounded by some challenging hills and I am totally impressed with how it has coped with them. The battery range is great - and even without battery it is very useable. I changed the seat to a chunkier padded model (from Decathlon) and I can ride for hours. I need to get my own one now!
Gripes: I keep hitting the large menu button on the LCD display instead of the + and - to control the power - hopefully your devs can add an option to use a long press instead so that fat fingers don’t keep hitting it. The battery could do with a place to grip it better when pulling it out - a small issue but something for a future update.

I love my new Hygge Bike

I love my new Hygge Bike!

I bought my Hygge Soro e-bike because I don’t drive and I was getting exhausted cycling everywhere on top of the bouldering that I do 3-4x a week.

The bike has made a huge difference for me- it’s fantastic for getting around the hills in Leeds and I can get anywhere quickly and conveniently, with energy to spare for work, sports, walking the dog etc. I like the built in safety lights, and the high torque motor more than makes up for the weight of the bike.

The detachable rear basket is very convenient for shopping, and on top of this, our dog loves to ride in it when I secure the basket with the provided straps! I take him on lots of adventures with the bike, and he would rate it 10/10.

I’m looking forward to using the folding capability and bringing the bike in the car on our next holiday!

One thing I would like to see in the future is longer battery life. This is probably more a limitation of the technology than the product itself, but because I ride multiple times every day I need to charge every 3-5 days.

Other features I would be interested in are a comfy/softer saddle option- perhaps a cover or an alternative seat, and any additional security measures to give peace of mind when locking up in public places (Leeds is notoriously bad for bike theft!)

All in all, a fantastic product and I would recommend a Hygge bike to anyone looking for a quick and convenient way to get around!

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service, speedy delivery and very well packaged. Bike is high quality and all set up and ready to use, the electric motor copes with inclines and slopes very well. The fat tyres make off road riding a breeze and on road riding smooth and comfortable. Highly recommended.

First Ebike for a 6ft5 120KG chunk

Wanted to start cycling into work so looking for an e bike due to the fairly steep hills on the way.

Did a load of research but hit a couple of problems.

I needed a folding bike because I had to travel on a ferry half way along the route and they only take folding bikes.

I'm also 6ft5 and 120KG so a big lad.

Trying to find something that fitted all three criteria was... tough.

Eventually I found the Vester. Now it was heavier than I wanted and had fat tyres which wasn't ideal but I had limited options so I went for it.

Customer service was very good, I did it using the cycle scheme at my work and wasn't sure how I was supposed to actually use the certificate I had but the chap I was emailing was very quick and helpful.

Bike came quickly, within a week. So I was pretty happy with that.

I was a bit tentative about how well it would deal with the hill which is a 2.21km ascent according to my phone. Pretty steep in some places. But the bike deals with that effortlessly and that's with my 120kg on board at the same time.

Battery drops about 4% getting me to the top of that and that's the worst but of my journey on maximum assist so the rest is not an issue.

Overall very happy. It could be a bit smaller and less bulky but then so could I.

I'm cycling again!

My new vester has got me cycling again! After years of cycling apathy I'm out on the lanes every day. The vester is so well designed and manufactured and oozes quality. And for a bonus it folds down enough to fit in the back of my tiny Hyundai.
The Hygge experience, from ordering to setting up my bike has been so smooth. Emails were replied to very quickly. Basically a no hassle experience!

Hygge Bikes - pure class

Hygge is one of the best companies i've ever dealt with.....sensational customer service, their willingness to go above and beyond expectations is second to none, and i've become almost like a friend to Burhan....wo is their sales ambassador abroad. Also, they do amazing E-bikes!

I bought Hygge's Virum foldable e-bike…

I bought Hygge's Virum foldable e-bike a few months ago, and it’s been amazing for getting around Peterborough.
It’s super lightweight, easy to fold, and perfect for city rides. The battery life is great, and the ride is smooth definitely a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable e-bike!

Its been over 3 weeks since I refused the delivery and to clarify. Hygge have not contacted me since or tried to redeliver my bike. The fact that they can try to justify their behaviour, just goes to show you should be very careful when considering buying their products TO CLARIFY
NOV 24 The bike was short circuiting and I was scared of a fire hazard
NOV-JAN 25 I had to call them and email over 30 and was constantly fobbed off with excuses and no resolution
JAN 25 sent the wrong battery which was used and scratched all over
FEB25 I asked for a refund because the bike was faulty - they asked me to send the bike to them so they could cover their back and say the bike was fine and not issue a refund
FEB25 sent the bike back with no charger or my accessories
APR 25 no contact or news of the bike since

UPDATE APRIL 2024
Its now been over 6 months since I have had my bike which does not work. I habe been trying to get a refund but Hygge have been completely unhelpful. They did collect my Bike in February and said they had fixed it but when they returned the bike they didnt even send the bike with a charger or any of my accessories which they have requested me to send back. I therefore rejected the delivery. The staff at hygge have been very rude and impossible to deal with, imagine paying £1100 and not having use of it for over 6 months or even having a bike!? I now have no other choice but to take legal action against them!!!!!!!!!!
purchased the 2022 foldable ebike in Feb 2024 I rarely used to bike and by Oct 2024 I had only 295 miles on it. The battery became faulty. It took them 2 months to replace the battery and when the new battery arrived it was a used battery that did not even match my bike it also had scratches all over it. I have never heard of a faulty item being replaced by a second item on a £1000 bike. My calls or emails were never returned, I had to call way over 15 times to try and get my issue resolved. Ive not even bothered to contact them regarding sending a second hand battery. Very poor customer service.

Thank you for your feedback. While we’re always committed to resolving customer concerns, we believe it's important to clarify the situation for others reading this review.

Your case involved a 2022 model bike that had been in use for over 8 months before any issues were reported. Despite this, we promptly sent a replacement battery without delay. However, it was later discovered that the battery sent was not only the incorrect model but also intended for another location. To ensure proper resolution, we then collected your bike—at no cost—for a full inspection.

Our team confirmed that the bike itself was in full working condition. The issue was limited to the battery, which we replaced under warranty. The bike was returned to you, but you refused delivery due to a charger and lock being missing. These items had been loosely handed to the courier and ended up at a facility—where they were initially misplaced and intended for another location. Once identified, we immediately dispatched them to you.

Despite the courier’s attempt to complete the delivery, you did not accept the return or respond further. You also chose not to utilize any of our support locations, instead insisting on remote service, which we still did our best to accommodate.

We’ve done everything possible to support your case, and while we regret that it hasn’t been resolved to your satisfaction, we stand by the fairness and effort of our team throughout.

Virum Racing Green Duo

Can’t fault the staff that I have interacted with and their communications have been timely and helpful. In particular, Burhan has been outstanding and a great ambassador for the company and its brand.
Whilst we had to wait for our Virum bikes, the wait was well worth it and their weight makes it easy to transport two bikes in the back of our car. Just add the pedals, adjust the handlebars and they are both ready to ride.
We have been using them for the past two months and we are both happy with our choice of company and e-bikes. Highly recommend the company and their Virum e-bikes.
