Hygge Pergola Reviews 

Although I had a significant delay with my 3x4 pergola delivery service, I have to say the quality is very good. Very satisfied with the product. I have now had it for nearly two years with no issues at all. Bought two windproof panels and am now thinking of buying the 3rd one. Overall, a great product.

It took forever to arrive. We paid for installation which was done but the guys who did it talked in their native tongue and we got the feeling they were saying derogatory comments about us/our home.

That said the pergola as lived up to our expectations. We used it constantly last summer and it still looks like new after two winters.

It was installed in Autumn 2024 but now we are being asked to review due to negative reviews! Read what you want into that. Would we buy from Hygge again, probably not but only due to the length of time we had to wait for delivery. If they sort this out, all would be good.

All of our delivery arrived on time and very well packaged. There wasn’t a single mark on it.

The pergola is outstanding quality and has exceeded all of our expectations. We got the free heater which is really powerful and it really is like another room on our home.

It is easy to keep clean and has withstood the first season of rain, snow and hail.

We found one tiny scratch on it from where we assembled it and we were sent some free touch up paint. Also, on delivery the box that our cleaning kit came in was damaged - we were told about this in advance and a new one was sent free of charge within a couple of days.

Great follow up service - with check ins to make sure we were happy.

This product is by far superior to the cheaper non-bespoke pergolas you can buy online.

The lighting is the perfect finishing touch.

I have recommended these to quite a few people.

The pergola was a great choice easy to install has made a garden space a lovely dry warm area to enjoy day or evening with the led lights. There was a small delay in the heater but fully explained and I patiently waited and it arrived a few weeks later as promised.No issues totally happy with customer service and the product.

Great quality, installed it within 2 days, looks great! Delivery was exactly as stated when purchased.

We had a wait but the product is very good, sturdy and well worth the wait. Very happy would buy from them again.

Build was easy with instructions supplied.
Pergola is of good quality.
I installed the Pergola 2 years ago & it has stood up to some hard uk weather with no issues.

This is a shambles of a company. We waited 7 months for the pergola to arrive, then 3 months for installation …. I ended up doing it myself. To make it worse, they never respond to emails , if you get them on the phone they just do nothing……. PLEASE BEWARE , YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED -DO NOT USE

I can see people are saying about the delay. Yes, there has been some delay but the product matches description, is of good quality and everything was finally delivered. I have been using it for over a year and it had survived huge 100mph storm without any damage.

There was a delay with the delivery, but the communication was great and timings were respected. The product is absolutely top quality and was worth the wait. 2 years in and still looks brand new.

We have had our Pergola for about 2 years now and are really happy with it. We bought additional sides to make it more efficient in this British climate. With lights and a heater its very cosy.Delivery can be a bit on the slow side but being a small company patience is something we all could do with as it is well worth the wait.

We installed our pergola last September and hadn’t really used until the last few weeks. We love it.
Allows us to pull the sides down when it rains to protect the garden furniture instead of getting the cover out or having to put the cushions inside.
The heater means we can stay out later & pulling the sides down feels super cosy.
And I now don’t have to repeatedly buy a new cantilever parasol which always break & the canopy rips after 12 months even though we keep it under cover during winter.

We had good communication with the company when researching the pergola we wanted to purchase. They were very helpful in answering our queries. The order was completed and the pergola was delivered within the estimated time frame. We were advised to use at least 2 people to erect it if doing it ourselves. We managed to do this over two days. Taking our time and reading the instructions at least twice before putting parts together. Again, all this was advised on instructions. Very happy with the whole experience. Unfortunately, no-one can promise the sun will shine so we can enjoy having the roof and sides open all the time. (We purchased two glass panels sides and two roll up sides) However, it is also very cosy when the weather is cooler and we have our firepit in there, with our seating. Purchased separately from the pergola.

We purchased our pergola from Hygge and our experience was first class . Delivered as promised . Erecting my pergola was easy to do and materials were top quality. There after care service was excellent as well. Would highly recommend these guys .

Updates review after one year: We love the Pergola. Brings the indoors outdoors (or is it the other way around?). After one year of ownership the pergola still looks new and everything operating well. We attached ours to the house and then had three blinds and a heater installed. Blinds are great and do a dual job of providing shade when needed, and help to keep the heat in when the heater is on. Got the heater on a deal so wasn’t expecting much, but it is actually really good. Much better than the old gas heater we used to have. Some other reviews talk about delays but ours was actually ready a few weeks before the scheduled delivery date. Definitely recommend. One of the best investments we have made in our house!

Very good product and well priced. There were delays on delivery but I kind of expected that because of the previous reviews. Mine was a lean-to system with a side wind blind. I mostly put it up by myself but had some help holding the wall bar level whilst I drilled and bolted it onto the house. The side curtain is fantastic at keeping the wind out and slides up and down easily. I have a minor gripe about the way the curtain box bolts onto the side rail on the lean to system. There is a plastic corner bracket which means the curtain doesn't fit flush at the wall end of the side bar. I'll work something out to sort this over this summer. In summary it is a really well packaged and produced system and looks the part. I'd add some photos if I could!

The pergola is very well made/engineered and fitted together well. It's also seen a couple of winters now and made garden furniture storage super convenient. A design improvement would be to make the feet covers in 2 parts so they can be attached at the end of the build rather than part way - fitting the blinds into their tracks for smooth running (a step after ground fixings) requires precision/environmental adjustment that most ground surfaces won't offer by measurement alone as once the bolts are in, they are in. Popularity meant there were some shipping delays as others have stated, but the finished product was worth it and at the time of purchase the most competitive balance of product quality and cost.
