Quality is great along with customer service, when we had a snag during construction they were very helpful and solved our problem

Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had from a company.

We ordered a replacement pergola blind because the original one was damaged. The replacement blind has arrived and does not work properly. It appears to be a faulty unit and does not fit/operate as it should.

We have provided everything requested, including videos, dimensions, and evidence showing the issue. In total, we have now sent 9 emails, made 8 phone calls, and submitted a formal complaint.

Despite this, nothing has been resolved.

When you manage to get through on the phone, you are told it will be looked into urgently or that someone will respond by the end of the day, but no response comes. It has just been empty promise after empty promise.

All that is needed is for the faulty blind to be collected and replaced with one that works correctly, but we are still being ignored.

Very disappointing after spending a lot of money with them. I would not recommend based on the aftersales service we have received.

Had the pergola for nearly a year now, no issues and enjoying get out in the rain. Communication with Hygge was good, and despite the long lead time when we ordered the hit the time. Only gripe is build time- if you’ve not build one it takes a few days to build, instructions are pretty good, suggest buying the sides keeps the drafts out!

We got our Pergola at the end of summer last year and as weather was so bad we put it in storage until spring.The delivery guys were great stacking everything into our shed for us. We have just had it installed and it looks fantastic. We went for the 4x3m with three screen option which i would recommend to everyone as they are great at keeping wee flying beasties at bay. The quality and build are outstanding and it really sets off our decking area. Can wait for the good weather to arrive so we can get a few barbies outside sitting under our new Pergola. As we live in Northern Ireland we had to get our own installers and the guys at The Flat Pack Guy NI were fantastic. So tidy and so friendly and they did a first rate job. If you're ordering your pergola for NI these are the guys to contact.

We initially had delays with delivery dates and then installation dates, and when we did get an installation date, Hygge had to return with the correct tools to drill in porcelain tiles which was frustrating. However, the installation team did a good job, the pergola, panels, heater and blind are fantastic and good quality, and we are thrilled. It really wow's everyone and is such a great feature.

We ordered this well over a year ago. Delivery was a little late but not a problem as kept informed.
Assembled it myself with my son in law as it’s a 2 person job.
Included 3blinds, lighting and louvred roof.
It been up around a year now and we are extremely happy with it. It’s very well made and perfect for rainy days in the garden.

Found a sturdy aluminium framed pergola for a much better price than some of the other brands. But it’s basically the same pergola. The frame is chunky and solid and has some weight.
It was delivered exactly on time on the date I chose. I opted to assemble it myself and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Every part was present and in the correct box and it all fit together perfectly. I had zero problems putting mine together.
Very pleased with it. And I am writing this review having had it in place in my garden for just over a year. It is still perfect, hasn’t shifted or warped or anything and the roof mechanism is still perfect as well. I have the windbreaker sides on mine. It has withstood all weather with ease, torrential rain, a bit of snow, very strong winds and blistering heat. No issues at all.
I would recommend this pergola.

Buying Our Fabulous Pergola was the best thing for our outdoor leisure space in the garden. All weathers we can enjoy it, and we do, keeps wind and rain out, and looks so nice. Hygge were helpful, easy to contact, and reliable. They even contacted us after sales to check we were happy, meant a lot. Thank you Hygge

Delighted with our Hygge Pergola. Really high quality product which looks good as new a year on.
The wait time was longish but the expected delivery was clearly stated on ordering and in fact it was ready and shipped a few weeks before the originally expected date. We were kept informed and everything arrived in a perfect condition.

Firstly the pergola itself is absolutely beautiful and really well made. I’ve only given 4 stars because of length of time it took for delivery. We ordered in June and delivery took place in September. We understand that sometimes situations arise from time to time but we were disappointed that we didn’t really have use of pergola during summer months. That being said, customer service from Hygge was pretty good. They reassured us that they were working tirelessly to get the delivery to us asap. The also gave use a higher wattage heater as a sign of good faith, which we appreciated living in Scotland. I find it hard to believe some people think this company is some sort of “scam” from my point of view it is nothing at all like that. We are coming up to our 2nd year anniversary of having pergola and it still looks as good as the day we erected it. It’s a lovely addition to our garden and I wouldn’t hesitate in buying from hygge again, but once again I will say delivery could and should be a bit quicker..

We brought our pergola 3 years ago, and we love it so much we have only just put the heater up this month and now love it so much more, we have just ordered the wind proof sides to complete it.
Honestly we couldn't be happier with it all, we spend more time outside now with it all set up. This company is very honest and very trustworthy they are always there to talk to for help. I very highly recommend, all my friends and family are very envious!!

There was a delay in delay in the delivery but it was my fault, I didn’t send the balance payment in time!
My nephew came to inspect mine and was impressed with it and he actually bought one .
Also my son is thinking about buying one.

Good quality product. We erected it ourselves and the instructions were relatively easy to follow. Obviously, construction is quite a big task but manageable for a proficient DIYer (needs a good drill for the ground fixings, a long level to get it square and a couple of helpers) but I don’t think it’s a job for novices.

The pergola itself is brilliant. It’s been up a year now and still looks like new, didn’t budge an inch in the winter storms. We bought and installed 2 blinds which were very welcome on the sunnier days.
I can’t praise it enough, a patio that we could barely use in the hot weather is now a haven.
It was a good few weeks from placing the order to delivery (understandable during busy periods) but it’s been well worth the wait!

The product is excellent, unfortunately my order has taken 2 years to get everything delivered, but now we have everything in place it looks fantastic. Very good quality, will clearly last a long time and withstand the elements. However as a company they should work on improving their lead time from order to delivery, and look to change the courier service used to deliver the items when they do eventually arrive in stock - SGK distribution managed to lose 2 items in 2 separate delivery slots! If it wasn’t for them I would definitely have given a 5 star review.

Ordered a 6 x 3meter pergola with heater over 2 years ago although we did have a few delays on delivery, of which the company was very apologetic I can honestly say I wouldnt be without it it's very sturdy the height is good the blinds are great thought with the roof open In the sun would leave us with strappy tans but no it's great and the heater is fantastic to very quick to warm up and cool down great on a winters night when coming out of hot tub. Only thing for me to be picky about is heater has remote control would of been great if roof of pergola was electric but that's just me being lazy handle works great.

Really pleased with our pergola, outdoor heater and egg chair, which look very classy and good price point. We have had ours up for nearly year and no issues although it would be helpful if a YouTube video was supplied for erecting as manual instructions a bit unclear at times. Customer Service was however quick to respond to queries and returned our calls quickly. Before buying I did note some negative reviews regarding delivery but the order details do confirm a lead time for the product to be made and another lead time for shipping which I don't think people realise. We ordered ours in December as we weren't in a rush and it came as stated in February/March from memory. Order in advance. Also I had a personal issue and thought I might need to return, they were very sympathetic and in the end I didn't need to, which also reassured my trust in this company. I would definitely buy again from them.

Last summer we decided to demolish our conservatory and purchase a pergola. After lots of research we opted for a Hygge 4x3m pergola with retractable weatherproof sides (free lighting & heater).

Ordering was easy, delivery arrived on time, and everything was accounted for and very well packaged. Took several hours to build but wasn't too difficult.

Almost a year in, still looks great, is easy to keep clean, handles the British weather really well!

It's a great bit of kit and would highly recommend!!

Incredible addition in our garden. Has for sure wow factor. Been over a year with us in different weather conditions. Jist remember to open up when worst weather ahead so wind go through smoothly. No issues. Packed well, delivered on time with easy instructions. Very happy since Spring 2025
