Do not buy from these!!!

I mistakenly purchased two kettlebells and subsequently returned one, providing proof of receipt via DHL. Despite sending numerous emails, I have not received a response. I also attempted to contact them by phone and was only successful once, only because they believed I was calling to make a purchase. I would advise caution if you are considering making a purchase from this company.

Impossible to get hold of

As of writing this, I have just filed a complaint with my bank. I have tried countless times over the last three weeks to contact Hygym with no luck. I even turned up at their address in Swindon to try and collect the gym equipment in person, but there was no response at all. They have taken my money and provided zero contact, no updates, nothing.

This is completely unacceptable. I’ve had to escalate the issue through my bank due to their failure to supply the item. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and an overall terrible business model. Avoid Hygym at all costs.

Everything went as dicussed.

Won’t lie, I was a little concerned reading some reviews, but the rack size and 6ft bar back were perfect size for my garage compared to other competitors.

So, I called the guys up and confirmed the stuff was in stock then ordered the Friday 25th April it was dispatched the following Monday, and I received it all on Friday 2nd May.

Do not order from this company!!!

Do not order from this company!!!! We ordered £1300 worth of equipment in November 2024 and some of it has only just arrived last week! Absolutely shocking communication, no replies to emails and just terrible all around. Don’t waste your time or money on them!!

Spoke to Shane regarding a product I had interest in, he gave excellent service and was able to assist me through the phone. 10/10 couldn’t have been happier with the service I had today. He needs a pay rise or paid holiday if he hasn’t yet got one!

Perfect

Good Quality, helpful support.

Building my first home gym setup, equiment is great quality for the price. Had some questions upon setting the gear up as I'm new to a lot of this equipment, but customer support helped me over the phone.

AVOID this seller, go MIRAFiT instead

I purchased the squat rack from HYGYM. The squat rack had the worst assemble instructions possible, and literally had to guess and work backwords, took ages. Additionally everytime I tried to contact them there has been no response.

Frustrated as there is a clear lack of customer service with this brand. Keen to sell, but once sold, service is quite rubbish. Wish I had gone with an alternate brand, whose customer service and options look much better.

Reply: Sorry sledge I got from elsewhere, but you can see the customer service here. Did not bother picking up my phone, reply to my messages or anything, but are quick to leave a crappy comment instead of addressing the core issue. Happy to send photos of the poor quality squat rack too.

Reply 2: its concerning how misleading a retailer can be. You have not made any request. As a matter of fact, all you need to do, is to reply to one of my many unaswered messages, and you can get the details. I have the invoice number, the squat rack (red one). FYI my messages were about whether it can be used outdoors or not, which you have not had the courtesy to reply to, but all of a sudden, you're really quick tor reply to a review..

Reply 3: I have the invoice from you guys, so its ironic that you decided to report me. My greater concern is all you needed to do was reply to any one of my messages asking for some info of the product, and I would not have been frustrated to the extent of giving a bad review. Instead of replying to me on multiple media, you have decided to report my comment and now TP have reversed it. My advice to you: focus on customer service instead of vexatious reports and this will not happen.

Not normally one to write reviews but…

Not normally one to write reviews but felt compelled and almost obliged due to the outstanding customer service of HyGym. They handled all my initial questions and enquiries via their chat feature on their website and I eventually took the plunge and bought one. 3 months on Klarna interest free is very reasonable for what you get. Soon after purchase they contacted me to confirm delivery date and were happy to hold off a couple days to ensure I was in. So they scheduled it in on my terms. Very helpful.

Once installed I had some issues with cabling/pulley system. No problem for HyGym, even taking time on a busy Black Friday evening to engage in helpful conversation via chat to resolve. They promptly sent me out free replacement and then WhatsApp FaceTime me to talk me through it. Honestly I could not ask for more. I will certainly use them again. Buy with 100% confidence. Thanks Shane and the HyGym team
