Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the quality of products, reporting issues such as headphones with faulty components, keyboards with various quality issues, and mice that failed quickly. Customers also frequently encountered problems with customer service, describing it as robotic, unhelpful, and difficult to reach, with some experiencing long delays in responses or no acknowledgment at all. Additionally, some people had negative experiences with orders, including items arriving with defects or being unable to exchange incorrectly ordered products. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with specific products, such as certain headsets lasting for years with good build quality and sound, or mice and mousepads working well without lag. Keyboard failed

Keyboard failed - space bar. Looked up companies responses and they recommend disassembling the keyboard and soldering a connection. How about let me send the keyboard back and you replace it. If what you recommend is to have a customer solder a connection on a 2yr old lightly used keyboard your brand is a failure.

Edit: I forgot to mention, the middle button on the mouse failed in the first 6 months! I’ve just been dealing with it. This brand is trash.

The keyboards are decent

The keyboards are decent! The RGB looks cool, especially when i’m gaming at night, turning the lights off. Plus, i bought the matching mouse pad as well without any wires, it works well, doesn’t lag.

Long winded gripe about the Cloud Series...

I've been using Hyper X Clouds for 10 years, I've used em' all and since towards the end of the Cloud II series they have been terrible. Hyper X used to care for their consumers, they used to make headsets of quality for a fair if not expensive price but it was worth it.

Unfortunately that's no longer the case, since 2023 I've been using the Cloud III as is their newest headset and sure when you first buy it it's fantastic but one headset turned into two then three and now I've bought 5 different Cloud III's that have all failed in one of two or both ways, either it's the mic that decides to shoot downwards in quality and up in sensitivity and then just down right breaks or its the ears that become muffled beyond human understanding or both. Usually it happens about 4-6 months after opening the box, sometimes later sometimes sooner, one headset lasted 9 days before biting the dust, another one a little over 8 months like the one I'm wearing which I am experiencing both problems at once.

Suffice to say I really like Hyper X's headsets but as of now it's only out of brand loyalty, their headsets look nice and are really comfortable and when they work they work well but shitting the bed after a few months is a huge turn off.

Check HP.com before you buy HyperX

HyperX has been acquired by HP. Check the price on HP.com before you buy any HyperX products. I found the item purchased via HyperX UK to be cheaper on HP.com and asked for the difference to be refunded. The item was actually invoiced and sent by HP UK! The HyperX customer service department was unhelpful. That's a shame given how HyperX has been making good quality keyboards. Delivery was fast though.

worse than my 10 dollar temu mouse

software barely works, resets everytime i start my pc, the mouse collects dust nonstop, the headset quality is ass, mic stops working after not talking for 1-2 min and sometimes the mouse has 2 extra senses and the sensetivities go down by about 200-500

This company is absolutely horrible and does not care about customer service. The products say they come with 2 year warranty and when you try reaching out to customer service it’s just crickets. They don’t even have the decency to acknowledge you, but are quick to ask you to fill out a survey about your experience with customer service.

WORST experience - need to learn how to run a business.

Ordered an item and accidentally ordered it for Xbox instead of PS - within 2 hours I contacted them to ask to change it for the correct console - they replied immediately telling me the item could not be exchanged as it was in the "production status" whatever on earth that means? sorry but I don't believe that within the space of 2 hours they've managed to pick, pack AND dispatch my item by 12:30 in the afternoon on the SAME DAY?! sorry but what kind of company has so many courier collections within one day that within 2 hours it's already been collected and can't be exchanged?! nah sorry that's total bull and not believable in the slightest.

They replied immediately to my first email, but my email where I told them I no longer want to continue with any sale with them and would prefer to just have my money back instead of the item, suddenly they gone quiet lmao.

Awful company ran by people who aint got a brain cell between them.

Probably the best quality/cost ratio I've ever seen on a gaming gear👍 I have headsets from them and Using them for like my third year, and they are pretty nice. Ilike how they made the wire like 3 meters so it's comfortable. The downside is that ear pads are starting to peel off already and Idk what I can do if they fall off. But all in all, 3 years for this is the best I could get I guess.

Poor customer service / after sale

Purchased some items for birthdays on the 25th of Feb. The mouse turned up damaged. Sent photos and they wanted the item returned. Chased for over a week for a return label. Returned item, but had to send proof of postage as they have not checked received. 25th March still not received the replacement mouse. Now requesting a refund as sick of chasing and waiting.
Will not be buying again or recommend

Terrible customer service

Purchased headphones for my sons birthday but they turned out to be too small. I contacted HyperX to ask to exchange them but was told that since it was 2 days over the 14 day return period they wouldn't take them back. Absolutely awful, will never deal with this company again.

Superb customer service.

Misplaced the adapter for my Hyperx Cloud III Wireless gaming headset. Reached out to support for help. Got a quick and friendly response by Stefan from customer support.
2 days later i received a new adapter, sent by HyperX, no questions asked.

Really great customer service. Things like these are what matters. 5/5.

Brought the Hyperx Cloud III (Wired)

Brought the Hyperx Cloud III (Wired)
the sound works fine and the issue I have is with the adaptor. the device is picked up on every software but the mic only works without the adaptor. I've tried everything and I assume that the adaptor is broken. other then the adaptor its alright. I used the usb to aux adaptor from my old mic and it works fine, although the cord is really short so it gets in the way.
2/5 don't buy. spend that little extra money to buy the wireless version.

Not Made To Last

Received the Cloud Alpha S wired headset in blue for my birthday last January. By December, the ear caps had randomly came off - just popped off. It took a while but luckily my dad was able to put them back on, saving me from going to a tech shop. Now the left headphone doesn't work at all. I think the sound quality is absolutely brilliant, by far the best headset I've ever had, but for the price it should last longer than my £25 unbranded pair off Amazon I've had for 3 years and have now been forced to use again before I can buy something better. The microphone quality is actually horrendous, choppy, muffled and cuts out often, so not good if you're in call. If a game, music or voice chat is playing through the speakers at the same time, it makes it cut out even more often, which is awful when playing a co-op game. Also, the audio jack never worked, it had to be attached to my PC via USB or didn't work. Better than others I've bought that have had deafening ringing upon disconnects/unstable connection, but I sadly cannot recommend this product or brand to anyone in good conscious. The unbranded headset I have has better microphone quality. All this being said, the noise cancellation on the Hyper Cloud S is also nonexistent. Although, to give credit, they are very comfortable.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Ordered 2 different items. They shipped 2 of one item and 0 of the other. Trying to resolve this is like attempting to pull teeth from a dinosaur. Will probably just have to charge the entire order back as their customer service is worse than Xfinity, and that should tell you everything you need to know about this company. Do yourself a favor, find a product from a different vendor. They are not worth the stress; especially if you'll never receive the product anyway.

I am using Hyperx devices for a 5 years now. Sometimes it really hard to find a hardware that fits all your need but after doing some research I own 2 keyboards (first one was ruined due heavy liquid damage wink wink) and headphones with a mouse. All devices simply works.
