I've been playing minecraft for 5 years on and of but mostly on. Hypixel is the best server I know.
Tons of gamemodes, tons of players so you don't have to wait a long time for a game (mostly), almost everything is well built and.
there are very few hackers and I belive they have a good anti-cheat system.
I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews.
probably kids who got mad for something so put a bad review.

This server is absolute garbage. The people who play on it make it so much worse, all of the sad no lifers who havent seen sunlight in 7 months godbridge side rush you on airshow and 50 cps butterfly click on you. PLEASE MAKE Fuccin MATCHMAKING it isnt fun getting destroyed every time bro, and people will just say "get better" like buddy im trying but there is a diamond prestige no life next to me when IM LEVEL 17 like bro come on. I cant get better if i cant even get enough iron for 64 blocks without a godbridger at my base already and has broken my bed. All of you sad people with no life make me sick i only play thheh game for fun because i have other things in my life but i just want to have fun, i play for fun not to sweat and i always play people who are 6 times better than me. eat my a55

no admin checks that players comply with the rules, look for a server to test hack? Use hipixel, who paid for VIP or MVP and uses hack will never be banned, because it gives money to the server. All the admins make fun of you, and if you want to help out, they respond with arrogance. really bad, create another more decent server without these hipixel moderator

Once I got Hypixel I thought it be a fun idea to play. I mainly play bedwars and other games. I swear 80% of the time I am put on the team with 1 less person than the rest and it is just always so unfair. And also I have very good internet and a decent computer and I always lagback and I always get 5 hit combos on me and my oppenent would be on 3 hearts and I am full and I'd still die. This game is so biased towards the other people who enjoy it cause it doesn't do those things to them. I am on the edge of never playing Hypixel again. The only Good thing about Hypixel is any game that doesn't involves fighting pvp that is it which like 90% of all of their games are fighting pvp.

i played build battle twice and got banned for using mods. it was literally my second time playing the game how would i have mods. i appealed the ban and it got denied immediately without reason. awful terrible banning service

They false banned me for the second time and now a year and they wont reply to my appeal its been 2 months now

Maybe if more than 1 smart person exists this would have 5-star reviews. But of course, six-year-olds complain about the lag that isn't even that bad. I have Mvp++ I spent over £100 on the server and I haven't had any money stolen or anything. amazing

This server has unfair advantages, the more ranked you are the less likely you are to get banned for hacking or auto clicking and i even have VIP plus plus. You cant play the game without toxicity hacking and tryhards. And they replaced the best minigame on the server with skyblock, what mini game did they take out? Herobrines mansion. An update, so I was playing and I called people annoying for cross teaming and they killled me because I reported them and they called me homophobic not only that they think that me calling them crossteamers is homophobic because they make being gay there only personality. I also find it rude how hypixel didn’t do anything

Tons of lagback, and bad anticheat.
But not bad at all.

This server is absolute trash. Staff are horible. Tons of hackers on almost every game mode. Watchdog is really bad even wurst (very old mc hack client) bypasses. Lag is absolutely horible, tons of lagbacks. Ban appeals are useless as they will probably get a auto response from a bot. Oh and the ranks? Don't buy them they are a waste of money.
In short this server is absolute fuc*ing trash and not worth your time.

Been playing Hypixel Skyblock for about 5 or 6 months. The other players are nothing but scammers. The youngest are obvious scammers and the older is a bit more clever and stall stealing from you until they have your trust. This has happened multiple times to me and my two kids. Can't recommend this server for kids without parental supervision.

Can't recommend this server for anyone who wants to play an actual multiplayer game because you can't make friends or play meaningfully together when the whole community is scammers.

Contacting support or reporting scammers with crystal clear evidence and outright admittance from the scammers doesn't warrant them at ban or warning, they are free to continue scamming kids day in and out. The support sees scamming kids as a part of the experience.

Its a bad server it glitches all the time and gives wins to whooever doesnt deserve it

This server is extremely unfriendly to new players, I don't think there is a skill-based match-making option. There are also hackers and extreme lag. Could do better.

no one wants to make friends anymore and I'm basically invisible to everyone I find and no one even knows I'm there. P.S. FIX IT PLS

Trash, their trash anticheat banned my account for having high ping. You guys make thousands every month, get a better server.

straight trash don't waste your time all it does is lag, crash the servers, has hackers but doesn't ban them but then bans you for simply writing something "Offensive" and has a queue that makes you wait for 20 minutes just to get booted off the server because it has terrible ping and connection. Don't waste your time on this server!

Hypixel is fun and really great to play with friends you can have a party and join, and play with friends in really amazing fun games! There is a variety of games you can select from as well! I would recommend this server but there are some flaws. Just today I got kicked from this server 6 times just in the hour! What the hell is wrong with the server today I know how bad it has been with lagging but this is unbearable! And I got banned for no reason! And also when you do teams of build battel my brother's partner did an inappropriate build, but my brother got banned for actually trying to do the build instead of the other person! He got banned for no reason!!!!!! AND I HAVE BEEN BANNED FOR NOTHING AS WELL!!! So, as I would conclude hypixel is a great server but the people are rude and trashy and also it lags way too much!!!! Also, the admins aren't great because they ban people for no reason and pay no attention to the people that are actually hacking!!!! Would recommend server to ages 14+

Don't mind the 12 year old's above, the server is great! While it may be laggy, you can just wait a little untill fewer people are on. There's only 2 computers that run a server with 200k people playing on it everyday, so give the lag problem some slack. If you run into bad team mates chances are you yourself are bad and need to improve. It is very grindy to get yourself with better pvper's, but you can also just go into solo! Hypixel staff are making this job their life (because it is) and are doing as much as they can. If you don't like what they are doing with different games, then just play another game mode. Staff are doing things because it will maybe take less stress on the computer, or it will patch bugs like the infamous bonemerang swap that leave other less skilled or equipped players far behind. (The bonemerang swap was a glitch granting you the ability to do hundreds of damage in a single second in the game Skyblock).
Also, if you were banned you can make an appeal in the community threads, although you do need to send proof. Reasons you were banned may be
Straight up hacking
Sending weird packets (packets are used in hacking, and if you send to many the anti cheat may trigger)
Chat abuse (Spam, advertisment of discord servers that go against community rules, rascism, etc)
Also comment about not getting over 4k worth of items, either you payed in a fishy discord server, your money is still proccesing (my rank took about 1 1/2 weeks to get to me) or its just a lie to make it seem like a server with over 200k players and multiple youtubers that trust this server with their lives seem like a big scam.
The reason I'm giving this a 4 star is because theres not many staff, and most of the staff huddle over into Skyblock, which is the number one reason stress is put into the computers. Also some staff seem a little incompetent but it does seem they try their best. Sorry it's so long, and again 12 year old above stop raging about either your Australian wifi, your 2009 computer, or getting banned for blatantly hacking. This is a platform to give honest feed-back, not clouded with your anger issues.
