Iceland complete
Ulfar was a very hard working and conscientious guide and group leader. The weather was against us which cannot be helped. I was disappointed not to have got closer to the glaciers. The admin prior to the trip was very good, but not perfect

Ring Road Express Trip in July 2019
We had a lovely 9 day trip around the Ring Road in Iceland. All the hotel bookings and car rentals were perfectly arranged and we did not face any problem whatsoever. The tablet containing the travel app was easy to use and highlighted all the major sights around Iceland. The only notable exception was the the Abandoned DC Plane on Sólheimasandur but we were able to locate that via google. We only wish that the tablet would also display the actual GPS coordinates of each sight so that it can be fed into the car GPS which is more convenient to use while driving. Will definitely rate this as one of our best holidays and hope to be back someday in the future.

5 stars! Our guide Elis was knowledgeable and friendly, every hotel we stayed at was lovely, and we packed in so many different sights over the week that it's genuinely difficult to pick just one highlight.

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the Icelandic weather in July, we have actually been experiencing the warmest June and July since records began in the 1800's. The weather in Iceland is however famous for being unpredictable, we even have a saying "If you don't like the weather, just wait 10 minutes :)".
I hope that you had a overall good time in Iceland, and if you are ever back in Iceland, don't let the weather stop you from visiting, it is all a part of the Icelandic experience! :)

Iceland complete
The service provided by Hildur, the Tour Guide/Driver was exceptionally great and I definitely give her a 10 out of 10.
But I was a bit disappointed with the tour as Iceland Complete is advertised as a 9 day tour but it is actually 6.5 days because the first day includes only accommodation, not even a welcome dinner, and the last day only breakfast; the tour also finishes early afternoon on the day before departure and it doesn't even include a farewell dinner.
Overall a very expensive tour that doesn't even include transfers from/to the airport.

I am however very sorry to hear that you were not aware of the full itinerary of our tour. A day by day description of the tour is on our website where it is stated that the first and last day only includes accommodation and that airport transfer is not included.

Iceland on YOUR Bucket List?...Just GO!
I picked Iceland Travel to assist us in organizing our trip after reading reviews online. The reviews turned out to be spot-on as we had a great experience with them. Sigurlaug, our representative, rented our 4x4 for us, found us great hotels along the route and helped us plan our trip. Overall is good, still some rooms for improvement. More specifically: 1) they need to make sure the tablet is functioning before giving to the clients, or give a short intro about the most important function (e.g. google maps); 2) to improve suggestions on attractions, sometimes the highlighted areas are swimming pools, a restaurant or farmer houses, and some very famous points are missing; 3) to indicate if the destination needs a 4-wheel driving car. We rented a two wheel driving car and sometimes were indicated to a destination where only 4-wheel car is allowed.

Wonderful Family Vacation in Iceland
We really enjoyed this Iceland Complete tour together with our adult children. It is well organised with superb service & good hotels. Our guide Julia is knowledgable & informative & Lisa, our bus driver, is most skilful & helpful. Highly recommend this travel agency!

Our Guide, Gallen and driver Arni are very professional and provided us with very good service. Gallen introduced clearly the different places that we visited. She is very considerate on our needs and interests. She is also very helpful and friendly.

It was very easy to book the trip…
It was very easy to book the trip online and the travel agent was very responsive to emails. There were two issues once we got to Iceland but they were easily fixed: the car rental wasn't properly updated for an automatic car but Hertz found the correct info quickly enough, and the second hotel didn't have a record of our stay but the staff got us a room and then followed up with Iceland Travel. Overall, would recommend Iceland Travel for their self driving travel packages.

Tours were not so good
Firstly the tour leaders were partial to guests from USA. Secondly, they hardly made any effort to show and explain. We had to fend for ourselves.
Finally, the stops for meals were mostly not good.
Otherwise, Iceland is a beautiful country with some lovely people. Hardly managed to see the Northern Lights. Would have been better if the tour bus could have picked us up from Hotel entrance and dropped us to the Hotel entrance rather than walk down further to a bus stand out in the cold wintry weather.

Soft Walking Tour or Iceland
We had a great experience on our 'Soft Walking tour of Iceland' although at times we felt as if the trails we were following we for more experienced hikers. Our guide, Pieter, was very informative, friendly and easy going.. Accomodation was comfortable, food was good and the scenery was spectacular at every turn.

This was my first trip outside India and it was surreal to say the least. I already feel that no other future trip to any other place is going to be as impressive as Iceland. And to be honest, it's a feeling shared by many in my acquaintances.
