I recently purchased a set of pistons for my 1975 Kawasaki h1 500. I had never heard of IMD before I researched which pistons to buy (Thank you Grok). From England to my home in Wisconsin took less than a week. When I examined the pistons it was clear that they were of very high quality. They were obviously even better than the original Kawasaki pistons. I have another vintage Kawasaki to restore and it will have IMD pistons in it as well.

My only query is why the piston rings weren't supplied separately, instead of being installed onto the piston?
The barrel needs to be bored & piston honed to size, as it's an oversized?
Why aren't the rings individually wrapped as "Top, 2nd & Oil" with fitting instructions "T" goes up, ect?
I'll work it & sort it out myself.
