Imoova was the perfect option

Imoova was very easy to deal with and we had a good choice of relocation vehicles. With a hybrid car, the fuel cost was just $64 from Rockhampton to Brisbane. Be sure to fill up before turning in your car. A great option for us.

Disappointing customer service

We finished our trip well anyway, but I felt that Imoova has been irresponsible since connecting me to a supplier. I made a reservation for a dollar deal from Imoova, but the supplier overcharged me. I asked about this, but Imoova replied me to ask the supplier and the supplier told me to ask Imoova, so I approached the departure date and paid without hearing the explanation. As a link between each supplier and the customer, you should at least care whether the supplier charges me the amount I initially promised you.

Everything was seamless from start to…

Everything was seamless from start to finish! Very upfront about costs, no hidden fees! I really appreciate their transparency ✨

Campervan came fully stocked with essentials and the fridge was really cold which I loved! All round great experience 😍

The Britz team in Adelaide and Perth (drop off and pick up point) were a dream to deal with too!

More Time Would be Nice

I wish I could’ve had more time to relocate the van without having to pay such an extra cost. The relocation days covered about 30 days yet I could only take the van for 8 of them with the limited option to add only 2 days on top at $100 a day. If the van didn’t need to be delivered until the end of the month, I don’t know why there was any kind of rush to get it back. When driving that long of a distance, it would’ve been nice to have a few more days to break up the travel without having to worry about getting the van back so soon or paying a high price to extend the trip by a couple days.

Rude and Unhelpful Agent

I booked a trip from Omaha to Chicago, but a few days later I received an email from Imoova stating that the reservation for South Dakota to Chicago is confirmed.

About an hour later, I received another confirmation from Indie Campers (Imoova is the middleman) saying that my trip from New York to Chicago is confirmed.

I've tried multiple times to email and chat with the Imoova agent William, who is extremely rude and unhelpful. He keeps telling me to go to the South Dakota location even though I called both Indie Campers and the South Dakota dealership and neither one can find a confirmation for me.

First time relocation

Easy to book. Traveled from Cairns to Darwin in 7 days. I added an extra day and tried to add an extra 2 days , so 3 in total. This would have given us a total of 9 days.
The problem was there was no one to contact just seemed like I was talking to a bot.
That's okay though, next time I would make.the decision up front.
We had an absolute ball. Van was amazing,I got. We had no issues at all. Would do it again.
Just remember the bond is pretty high so you need that available on your cr card.

First move with Imoova

Given that my first move with the company was at very short notice, I can't speak highly enough of the level of communication and support I received from Harry. At all times I was treated fairly and as a valued member of the team. Instructions were clear and consistent and payment was processed extremely efficiently and effectively - meeting the promises given. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to potential drivers.

Prompt information re pick up and drop off location. Pick up was quick and easy. Was given a guide of vehicle and instruments etc. Was in spotless condition inside and out. A pleasure to drive. Drop off was quick and easy.

Van (Mercedes Sprinter) was great to drive, and doing a relocation made great value. Handover from Britz was hopeless and disappointing....with us only discovering 12 hours later the isolator switch was turned off so the van wasn't getting powered when we paid for a powered site at a Caravan park, Other small things included no night shade for front of vehicle, tiny beds (only suitable for a 5ft tall person) and being told when we picked it up that we were not allowed to drive at night (not that we were intending to - other than back from a restaurant).

Poor Communication and Disappointing Experience

We faced multiple last-minute cancellations and poor communication between Imoova and the relocation company. On top of that, we received a downgrade from the car model we originally booked, with several unexpected surprises along the way.
The bond refund also took twice as long as promised. Overall, the lack of coordination and transparency made the whole experience stressful.

i delivered the vehicle and was issued…

i delivered the vehicle and was issued an invoice with random charges that made no sense. they ( Avis) then charged $54 for fuel even though i filled up less than 5km away?? i sent them the receipt and no reply.. not expecting any, they will just hope i forget and they keep the money. note to others take a photo of the fuel tank once delivered. Imoova was great, Avis let me down.
