Smooth transaction when returning a product. Quick refund and great communication with owner of this English company. Thank you. Will definitely order more.

I purchased a jacket which sadly was the wrong size, i returned it and putchased a smaller size (Exchange) total returns postage was £13. the second jacket was also fo big. so both returned. Indi menswear have only refunded me £60 for each jacket and the original price was £90. the reason they gave was because yhey have to re pack and steem. this is complletly against UK consumer law and i will br recievering my money. watch out if you by from Indi online as will cost you. heres what the consumer law states. There is no legal requirement for goods to be returned in unopened packaging, fully re-buttoned, or presented exactly as received. Normal handling of this nature does not amount to excessive use and does not justify any reduction in refund.

Further, any lawful deduction must:
1. Be based on actual, demonstrable diminution in value, and
2. Be proportionate and item-specific, not a fixed or blanket fee

A so-called “restocking fee”, whether labelled as such or otherwise, is not permitted where a consumer is exercising their statutory right to cancel. The reason you have provided does not evidence any loss in value and would not meet the legal threshold required to justify a deduction.

Accordingly, the deduction applied to my refund is unlawful.

I ordered a coat but it was too big for my son. I emailed and received a prompt email outlining what we could do next. Alan was amazing. He contacted his suppliers and ordered me an XS direct from them (there wasn’t any available on the website) and sent me it once my return had arrived back to his store. The parka is absolutely gorgeous, such good quality. I’m can’t wait to see my lads face on Christmas morning!! Thanks so much Alan for going the extra mile for me! Highly recommend

I asked for an exchange on a coat that was too large. I folded it, paid the postage and returned. When I received the new coat there was a note on it telling me that next time I return I am to “do up the buttons” Your website says fold, which I did. It’s not my job to make it ready for resale. Customer service needs a review as frankly note was rude and unnecessary, and I won’t be buying from this site again.
