I'm still in my early days of Infanto. I've build 4 or 5 rides. Some from the official catalog, some my own inventions. The first build was slow, mainly because I'm very meticulous and I took my time understanding the way things fit together. Once I was past that first build the following ones were a breeze. My 15-months-old girl is captivated by all the bits and pieces and goes through them whenever we start building. She would always have an Allen key in her hand trying to stick it everywhere. My wife also gets involved and we form a team doing different parts that go together in the end.
All in all I would very much recommend Infento to all parents that like building things with their kids. You don't have to be skilled in crafting or assembly and you would still get amazing results.
Build on!
From my initial interactions there are a few things that would take the experience to the next level:
1. I’d love to have an inventory list for the kit(s) I’ve got.
1,5. A list of all the required pieces for the build at the beginning of the instructions.
2. Labels inside the bits box would be cool. I’ve done them myself and can confirm they are very useful.
3. I have a Genius kit which has 4 wheels of each size and only one pair of handlebars. It would be useful to have at least one more pair, so that we can have more than one rideable ride at a time.
4. A regular child bike seat and/or a mount for it would be useful. The current one is very versatile but is not very ergonomic for a toddler.
5. A cord for pulling rides.

Rim exploded, Support-Mails gone unanswered
Unfortunately, I'm also one of the legend-kit-owners, whose rim exploded while my son was driving the electric buster. (Read some other reviews and you will realise that this is not so rare) The tire pressure was at 1.8 bar, because maximum is 2 bar / 30 psi as stated on the website.
Thank god the plastic splinters didn't fly in the direction of my son, but still a very unpleasant experience.
As the kit is still within warranty, I asked for a replacement rim by email, but weekly mails since 18 February have gone unanswered.
EDIT: Today infento service called me and it turns out infento mail server had a filter enabled which didn't let through my mails. So the reason for not answering was technical problems, which shouldn't happen but is far more understandable to me than just ignoring customers.
Infento is sending a replacement rim and additionally is researching the issue why the rim broke in the first place, by taking a look at my broken rim.

I'm happy to hear that the issue is resolved and again our apologies for the inconvenience. Almost always we reach our goal to reply to all requests within one business day and we keep on trying to do so. We fixed the technical issue, so this will not happen again :)
Regarding the issue with the rim, we're very sorry that this happened, and I understand you and your son were startled by this.
The incident you had is very rare and happened only a handful of times, while we've sold tens of thousands of kits.
As we told you on the phone, we will provide you with a replacement rim and offer a nice free product for the inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this matter.
The safety of our parts and rides are our top priority. All our parts and models are tested by the highest (EU and US) standards. We conduct extensive stress tests on all parts and rides, including the rims. Our rims can withstand pressures that are way higher than 2 bar, but we advise customers to not exceed the 2 bars.
The couple of past cases were caused by improperly inflated tires and/or prolonged exposure to very hot conditions combined with an excessively inflated tire. We will investigate now how it happened in your situation, to learn from this.

Fantastic product, build build build
Fantastic product. If you or your kids love building, this is the ultimate kit. Might seem expensive, but when you compare to major Lego models, this is incredible value. We've done several models and it's my son's favourite, he even rides it into the village. Well worth it

Nice product
The product itself is great. But with the upgrade we were missing quite a lot. Mainly bolts and nuts but also some other stuff. Emails to support are sometimes not answerred. That is a shame and really something you could work on.

One Canadian's Infento story
My order was somewhat complicated, more than just ordering a kit or two. Customer support (Lisa) was very patient and helpful. Since I live in Canada, shipping is difficult, but she made it work. Now I have enough parts for two electric cars, which was the goal. The actual process of ordering and paying was easy. Once shipped, it took less than 1 week to arrive, fantastic. I must highly commend Infento for developing such a magnificent product line and delivering it to enrich children's learning and enjoyment.

As a small Dutch school we ordered Infento. Especially for our project weeks (6 weeks just Technics) and it had to be easy to use for the teachers. The Education Kit has it all. From easy projects and some more difficult ones. All possible to do in the 45 minutes. Easy to use, to make and.. to play with it. Wish I could have given 10 starts. Happy teachers and happy children.

Cool concept
Cool concept, very cool looking rides. But the rides fall apart after basic regular use. I had an inner tube burst after 2 days of riding (which is very disappointing bc of the price point)The go kart also makes a very loud rattling because of the plastic that is meant to protect the drive belt. And now the rear axle where the brake is has come apart, which be no small feat to repair because that was one of the 1st parts we assembled. The selling point of the product is that you’re supposed to be able to build and then take apart your ride and create new rides. However, disassembling the intermediate to advance rides is no simple feat.

I read that you had bad luck with your innertube, which we off course will fix for you. Please contact support@infento.com for a replacement.
Also I see you had some assembly challenges. While our manuals are designed to make it as easy as possible, some parts require some precision, like the protection cap :). Also make sure that the parts are properly tightened.
Remember, assembling and disassembling becomes easier with a little practice, and we're confident you’ll have your ride up and running smoothly in no time.

There was a special offer last year, a big discount when you order before Christmas. I ordered a week before, but get the answer, that they were out of stock and be delivered 10th of January. But two days later the kit was delivered, days before Christmas, but I had to pay the full price, unbelievable.....

As we had explained in our emails our special offer ended on December 17th because we needed to make sure we could get orders delivered before Christmas. Unfortunately, your order was placed after that date, so the discount didn't apply to your purchase, but the kit still included the free Wonder Wheels.
You were indeed lucky with the timing and your kit arrived before Christmas. That's because we rushed out all outstanding orders the following week, and we had enough stock to ship your order as well at that point.
