One Word, Mindblowing !!

Thank You Khai, Keigh & Syra !!
These guys are amazing. They provide detailed answers, and to the point info. No stupid Medical field jargons or needless big words and stuff. Their Policy wordings are easy to understand but still these support guys go beyond and help dissect it further to help us understand. I even asked them scenario questions and they helped me there also, Just Mindblowing !!

All my concerns where taken care of.

I had a number of questions I was unsure about after going over the quote and brochure. The agent was quick and detailed in their responses. The agent left me feeling calm about having piece of mind for the duration of my overseas stay.

I did find it odd that no support agent ID number could be provided. Or an inquiry # to refer to in future. It would save my end time not having to potentially explain things over when another agent takes my call/chat.

Overall a great experience though. Thank you so much!

I will give a big zero rating to this company…

I will give a big zero to this company as they cheat the customers by quoting irrelevant clause. My mom visited US very recently and I obtained a visitor's from this insurance company. They promise a lot and unfortunately people get trapped. In this instance my Mom had to consult a doctor as she found some growth. We talked to the insurance agent and got a list of Doctors for consultation. At the doctor's clinic,I made a call to the insurance agent as the Clinic reception was not prepared to accept the insurance coverage as they do not trust the visitor visa providers . After getting a commitment from the agent,the clinic allowed my Mom to consult the doctor,who recommended few tests to verify the growth cancerous or not. Subsequently the results came out as cancerous,which needed visit to the Doctor. To our surprise,the clinic sent a bill for demanding full amount indicating that the insurance company refused to pay. I contacted the insurance agent,who informed that no amount is payable quoting a clause that says no amount is reimbursabpe for cancer related treatment. I argued that their agents agreed to pay at the time we went to consult and whatever expenses incurred was only to detect if the symptom is cancerous and as such this expense can not be treated as amount for cancer related treatment. We would not have consulted this particular clinic if the insurance company had informed about no payment, my mother would have approached either other clinics in US which are reasonable or flown back to get treatment/check up at a cost far less than the amount we have to pay here and better clinics with better facilities. We are now contemplating to approach the news agencies,other social media to make the public aware of such unethical insurance companies so that such companies are isolated. Also,we will approach the insurance regulatory agencies for action against the company.

This is the worst insurance

This is the worst insurance. You are better off not having an insurance. Don’t waste your hard earned money. They don’t pay you anything and don’t have the basic knowledge of processing claims. They promise to cover all the claims but once the procedure is completed they don’t pay a single cent.

2023 claim still pending

Once you have an expense, they ask you to contact RobinAssist. This claim will go in cirlces and not get resolved. I had a UR visit which is supposedly covered, but the UR sent a bill of over $X and RobinAssist and INF have just kept sending mails saying they are working on it. I don't think they plan to cover/close the claim.

I would avoid using INF and RobinAssist

Update as of 4th Oct: once I looped in 'operations' team of INF my request has gotten priority (after a year). Note: the 'support' team of INF was already looped in (not 'operations'). I understand medical notes are needed, but we have this open for over a year with no progress. Will update this comment shortly based on progress

Update 10/19: it's getting close to resolve now

Update 10/22: it's been resolved. Took a year, which was not a good experience. However it's resolved now and we can close this

Hi Manoj - thanks for reaching out. It appears that the claims team was waiting for crucial medical notes to adjudicate your claim. We were not aware of the situation until you emailed the operations team on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024. Once we were aware, we fast tracked the claim for you and got it paid immediately with no issue.

Members should know when they have a problem with the claim office, if they reach out to INF, we will be your advocate to get your claims paid as soon as possible. It's our fidiciary responsibility to every member to ensure claims are paid in a timely manner. Sometimes- procedures requiring medical notes from the provider are required to pay the claims. However, in certain cases like yours, we will work with the claims team if we see it is eligible and payable, and fast track a solution for you.

Fake Promises by INF Operations Team - Avoid

I purchased INF Elite insurance for my mother while she was visiting me in the U.S. Initially, I bought coverage for 90 days, with the plan to renew if she stayed longer. As the 90-day period ended, I attempted to renew the policy, only to find that the premium had increased by $100 per month. When I contacted their operations team, they assured me that, as an existing customer, I would still qualify for the original rates and promised to refund the difference. I proceeded with three monthly renewals based on their assurances.

However, after six months, they refused to issue any refunds and even threatened me if I shared this experience on social media. This raises serious concerns about the integrity of the company. I will avoid this insurance moving forward and strongly advise others to do the same.

In the future- if you want better coverage for pre-existing conditions, we suggest enrolling in the Hop Trip Assist Plus plan, which covers 80% for pre-existing conditions up to $300,000.

Terrible experience, feels like a scam

I have been buying this insurance for my parents for a while now and this year we got to visit a doctor's office for the first time and the experience was horrible. The plan was INF elite premier which is the most expensive one and yet the UHC card was not recognized at provider. The number on the back of the card did not connect us to UHC, but to Robin Assist which probably is their claim handler that said the policy is not enrolled yet and it would take 48 hours to enrol. Lots of chasing them and somehow insurance card was entered in the system after 2 days and not there are so many issues. The provider keeps telling me about one issue or the other. I have spent countless hours chasing Robin Assist over phone. Now I got a letter from provider that the insurance claim was denied because date of birth doesn't match. There is some random date that shows up in insurance records. I am tired and would not recommend this company to anyone. It would have been much cheaper for me to pay out of pocket. This feels like a scam to me. Not sure if they care about their reputation. I find their practices deliberate to discourage claims.
