No way they are not a scam

Absolutely impossible to actually get your money out. I requested a distribution to my bank account on Mar 19 2026, but they said that they couldnt send money to a non US bank so I asked for a check. A month later I got an email that the check was returned for insufficient postage so I requested a direct deposit. I gave all my bank details, everything that was requested. I sent those in on April 11, April 18th and again on April 21. I did not receive any response. Today (April 25) I called them for the 7th time since March 19 and they said that there was no record of me sending anything, however the person I spoke to on April 21st told me everything looked good and the direct deposit should hit my account in 5 business days.

Inspira Financial

At first I was extremely annoyed with the multiple communication attempts made to clarify which claim documents I needed for my FSA expenses.

A woman by the name of Margaret called and reached out and it was honestly such a relief. She helped clarify what I needed to do and which documents to submit to her and her team. Honestly, very professional and happy with the clarity provided. Thanks to her I am a firm believer that this issue will be resolved and I will be reimbursed for the dental expenses paid.

I would give a zero but it's not…

I would give a zero but it's not possible. I called customer service about my card not working. the guy on the other end tells me that my card is blocked from a transaction from 2017 for $77.00. When I look at 2017 all my funds were spent and there is NOT a message indicating any problems. I skipped 2018 plan year, but I enrolled in 2019 in which everything went smoothly up to 2025. We cleared the issue in 2025 with my wife talking with representatives daily until there was a resolution. The guy explains that my card worked the other years because I skipped the 2018 plan year. I have used the card numerous times since 2017 without any issues. But in 2026 I'm having an issue from 2017. Make any of this make sense. I feel like this is a total rip off!!!

It's a scam

These guys are horrible. They deny everything and are seemingly clueless to what a receipt is. My suggestion would be to avoid them entirely, cash out if you can, or don't participate at all. Basically company sponsored theft.

Edit: Don't reach out to me. You've wasted enough of my time and I'd be thrilled to never speak to anyone in your foreign call center again.

Worthless - DO NOT USE

They manage the dependent care and health savings accounts for my employer and they are HORRIBLE. Claims get rejected for nonsensical things that have nothing to do with what was submitted. Clearly not an actual person reviewing. Why are they super stingy paying out my money from a savings account? Customer service is painful, calls drop, long holds.

This company is HORRIBLE

This company is HORRIBLE. My funds were transferred to Inspira from the previous company who had hosted my 401K.
NO ONE can find my funds/account and everyone is sending me to every other department with no freaking help. It’s the same bullshit and the same information being repeated to me from a script . I’m super irritated and pissed because I’m in a financial bind and need MY FUNDS. This is MY money that I worked hard for and yall are not going to store my money and keep it until you drain the account from me”fees” until it hits $0.00. No one even told me my money was going to get transferred over to you so the lack of communication there already pisses me off to begin with. If my money is being transferred over to yall, yall should have at least my name, dob, address etc. on file. Yall telling me yall don’t have anything. Absolutely horrible.

Unable to even activate my HSA debit card…

Unable to even activate my HSA debit card despite multiple phone calls with company reps over several weeks. In addition, my phone calls keep getting "redirected" to supervisors, being placed on hold with calls eventually ending in terminated/dropped calls by the system. Completely unacceptable customer experience.

Absolutely the worst customer service

Absolutely the worst customer service. I spent hours on line trying to get my updated HSA card-simple request. After 6 months of failed service I closed my account with them and moved to Fidelity. Flawless service from Fidelity. Inspira never provided me with my 1099 SA and i found the customer service(?) people as uncooperative as when i ‘fired’ them previously. Never received the tax information I requested. These guys can’t even do the simple things which says a lot about this outfit. I wouldn’t trust them with a dime. The only thing they were good at was telling me why they couldn’t honor my request- regardless of how simple it was.

worst financial company i've probably ever worked with. customer service is horrific. we had payflex before inspira and it was amazing. but for some reason that got converted to inspira. terrible app. constant account access problems and the worst (fully outsourced) customer service imaginable. administering my account with payflex was effortless. with inspira it's a nightmare.

THE VERY WORST

THE VERY WORST. Make sure you handle your retirement account at work properly or they'll ship it to these unhelpful people. I have already invested north of THIRTY HOURS trying to get my money out of there! Today I went to download a statement of my account – and couldn't find a way to do it! Even their phone tree is aggravating, saying they want to improve. Ha! My only regret is not having negative stars to subtract from the 5s they had their employees write to buffer their score. THE VERY VERY WORST.

Problems, but with resolution

Complete replacing my review. I was having for weeks an issue where their login procedure wouldn't complete. After a BBB complaint got me to the right person, she was amazing and had the tech team fix it overnight. Why not more stars? Two key things: I shouldn't have to do this kind of escalation to be able to log into my accounts, and the digital capabilities are advancing very slowly when I'd like to encounter less need for papers. With progress on both over time, they would deserve more stars.

Inspiria Financials FSA is terrible

Inspiria Financials FSA is terrible. The proof that you send in to verify a use for medical procedures is often denied. I even sent in the EOB from the insurance and they denied that also. AI told me that the money that is left in account at the end of the use period for your money is then rolled back to your employer. Your own money is given back to your employer. Maybe this explains the denials.

Scammers with the Worst Customer Service

Do NOT hand over your money to this company – you’ll DEEPLY regret it.

My father, who’s a SENIOR CITIZEN, called to create an online account to review his recent account activity. He also needed to file a form with Inspira before he could file his taxes. Simple right? WRONG.

You can only create an account if you have your CARD number. He doesn’t have this info, so he called for assistance creating an online account. He provided his full name, address, the last 4 digits of his SSN, DOB, his employer’s name, and the date and amount of the last contribution, but that wasn’t good enough! They need a CARD number even though he provided PLENTY of other info to confirm his identity. Mind you, it’s HIS money, he doesn’t have his card, and he needs to file his taxes by the tax deadline.

The customer service rep said it would take 15 business days for a new card to arrive, denied him escalation to a supervisor, and asked “additional verification” questions that even the most HIPAA and FTI-compliant entities don’t ask. What more do you need? Finger prints? A blood sample?

The customer rep also told him he didn’t need to see his account activity because he didn’t need it to file his taxes. She clearly didn’t know his individual tax situation, but she was very much wrong.

Inspira Financial You all should be ashamed of yourselves for scamming hardworking people of their hard-earned money, and creating phony, arbitrary, and burdensome verification processes that prevent people from accessing their own money and info. My father has filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We’ll also be filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General.

I've been client for about 3 years

I've been client for about 3 years. I've written great reviews, but today isn't a good one.
1. I called Inspira Distribution Center to ask for add my beneficiaries. I asked if the form was available via Docusign, and they said no. I told them I will have to go to the library as soon as I have some time.
2.A follow up was sent. I let the person know that I haven't had time to go to the library, and will get it done as soon as I can.
3.I also called member services to let them know that I haven't have the time to go to the library, then I was informed the form is a docusing form. I let the member service person know, that I was told the form was not available as a docusing.
4.I completed the form. I sent it along with my revocable trust. I let the person I'm working with that according to my attorney, because is a revocable trust it does not need a tax id number. The form was return back after completion requesting a tax id number, when I told her my lawyer said it wasnt needed. i also called member services asking if I can talk to the person that is working on my case and they said they would pass the message to her, and that they also needed a signature not docusigi when I was told I could use docusing. Lots of inconsistencies. The person working on my case today, sent me an email saying that she needs a tax id number, when I told her 3 times, according to my lawyer no tax id number is needed, and other issues I had to correct. i called today. I finally got a hold of her. She sounded that she was aggravated by me calling. I had some questions about the way something needs to be done that doesn't add up to the way the trust was written. I only wanted to understand, but she sounded very frustrated. I told her and let her know, that I sb the one aggravated. It's been TWO weeks, and I have been getting the run around. I just email her, and the entire care team, letting them know, that since, at this point, I don't trust their competence the beneficiary form won't be done, until I talk to my attorney. All these inconsistencies are not acceptable.

Inspira Financial's FSA is a corrupt corporate sanctioned Grift!

Inspira Financial, formerly Millennium Trust Company and PayFlex, owes me a refund for the claims that I submitted in March of 2025. I patiently awaited the remittance of these funds. I called repeatedly and sat on hold excessively each time. This most recent time I believe the CSR purposely placed the called in the hold status in an attempt to dismiss me when I asked them to review the notes from all of the previous CSRs that I'd spoken to about this issues since January 2026. 1 HR 44 min on hold and told me the account closed so no refunds could be sent to me, even though the medical group remitted a refund to them over a year after the account closed which they accepted and received with no problems. All of this happened while they reported to the IRS that I owed them money thus my tax liability was increased, yet they in fact stole money from me using their arbitrary unethical deceitful corporate policies. Please forgive any errors in the above messages. It was written in haste with the utmost level of exasperation and disgust.

HORRIBLE. Absolutely disgusting way to speak to people.

That was the most disappointing customer service call I have ever been a part of. I genuinely hope whoever I was on the phone with can start trying to be a decent human being because that was absolutely unacceptable. I have never been treated so poorly and still received zero help. What an incredibly disgusting way to treat your customers.

Worst custodian

Incredibly frustrating to request a direct rollover. Their email responses are tone deaf cookie cutter responses. Their third-party center workers sound clueless to my demands and keep changing the documentation required every time I call them. They have every information to issue a simple check, yet they keep running me around the bushes. Their one-time links to fill in a new withdrawal request lead to documents that just glitch out. I might as well just call this a scam given how much time and effort I had to put in to get this done. It is far faster to just initiate an indirect rollover, and it will be a miracle if you can even manage to get your hands on your money.

Beware

Beware. If you haven’t put your money in yet don’t. When it comes time to getting it out, they will fight like you’ve never seen as if it’s their own money. I am my mother-in-law‘s guardian and conservatory as she is in late stage dementia in the nursing home. I have all the proper paperwork through the courts guardianship and conservatorship. We were trying to draw a small amount less than $1000 out of an account and close it. you would think giving them the court papers was enough, not even the beginning of the tip of an iceberg. They had me jumping through hoops for a couple of months. Wanted me to provide MY mother’s maiden name who has been deceased for 40 years. When I asked why they need that they said it’s part of the rules I said who writes the rules? Just one example of how ridiculous they are. After two months of me calling and giving them all the documentation and paperwork over and over one of their representative says to me “ are you with the account holder that I could speak with her now?” knowing that I am her guardian and conservator and she is in late state dementia or they say should have known I guess since they’ve had the paperwork for two months. Find somewhere else to put your money.
