A great service to check on a car you intend to buy. Used the Gold option as it had the most information. Believe this is an important check to make to ensure the vehicle you are buying is finance free, not stolen and not an insurance write- off. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your review and we do apologise for this issue. We have seen this issue occur on a few vehicles recently due to plate transfers or keeper transfer in progress. Rather than display a potential incorrect number, we have chosen to add this line of text to ensure our customers are aware this information is displayed on the V5C logbook and to allow you to check this before purchase.
Upon investigating this further, we can see a recent transfer and a new V5C logbook issued on the on the 13 April 2021 containing a recent plate change. This is only a few days before your check and would be the cause of this issue.
We have updated your report this morning to show this to you and I have sent you an email this morning to ensure we can follow up and ensure we can resolve this for you
