When I listed Scripts to be renewed, was told there were “a lot”. Doctor has prescribed them, what can I say. Then I was scolded because the Doc could not access my records, that’s my choice, as I und... See more

Go to updoc instead
Wait times are exceedingly long and they overcharge with no refunds partial or full. Updoc is much faster go there instead.
Disappointing and stressful experience
Disappointing and stressful experience
I had a very poor experience with InstantScripts and would not recommend it based on this consultation.
The female doctor I consulted with was rude, dismissive, and did not listen effectively. I felt repeatedly talked over and shut down when trying to explain my symptoms or concerns. She told me that taking Nurofen for a week or two would resolve a bladder infection in “98% of cases,” which felt inaccurate and concerning, especially given how painful UTIs can be.
When I explained that I did not want to be prescribed an antibiotic that had previously caused thrush, the doctor stated they no longer prescribe Keflex. When I said that was good, her tone shifted and she then appeared to threaten prescribing Keflex anyway, suggesting I was asking for it, which I clearly was not. I had to clarify this, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary.
To make matters worse, when I went to the chemist, I was told that none of the prescribed antibiotics were currently available (from 11 December 2025 to 20 February 2026). This information should have been known, and instead the consultation resulted in wasted money, wasted time, and no treatment.
This experience left me feeling stressed and upset at a time when I was already in pain with a bladder infection. I expected professional, empathetic care and instead felt dismissed and poorly treated.
I could not get through to their help/support services through links provided.

Elizabeth King working on to get my escript late at night, her compassion to help me get my medication in time over a hour of dedication amazed me, showing her hard work. Thank you so much for helping me! - kind regards Shae.
Referral script errors
The referral script has the Dr. name incorrect ~ meant to be Jess Floreani not Geoff.
And also the referral doesn’t mention Flinders fertility

I needed a prescription suggestwd by an urologist for an alternative medication in case my current one had no effect. I put quite comprehensive notes in the instantscripts app including the name of the medication and why I needed it. When the doctor called me it was clear that he didn't bother reading my notes and when I repeated what I wrote he said that he couldn't prescribe it as it might potentially cause diziness and he didn't want to take any responsibility in case I fell. He said that I have to visit my GP who is on leave for 3 weeks. Despite no assistancw I was charged $49. This service is a total joke.
Fantastic Service
I started with a virus on 23 December and spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day very ill on the 27th. I decided to ring instant scripts. I rang them early in the morning and about 45 minutes later I got a phone call from a very nice doctor Who prescribed me just what I needed a prescription for some antibiotics.
He was very polite and very easily to understand and was very thorough. If I had gone to a doctors on a Saturday this would’ve cost me a fortune if I could have found a dr with an appointment, this is a fantastic service and will certainly use it again.
I will not use them
I will not use them. They claim some of my sensitive information wasnt correct. I much prefer to see a doctor face to face for all my scripts
Lifesaver
Dr Michael was quick, I didn’t have to wait long, and very easy to understand. My script was running out today and my regular GP was supposed to give me a repeat last week direct to the pharmacy. It wasn’t there and it’s now nearly Christmas leaving without my medication. This is a life saver as I cannot get back in to see my GP until next year with only a day left to dispense my prescription.
Rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered
Rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered, won’t use insta scrips ever again
Poor experience for established semaglutide patients
I’m already established on semaglutide (Wegovy) and responding well. I used InstantScripts purely to continue treatment and switch to local pharmacy pickup, as semaglutide requires cold-chain handling and interstate delivery from Brisbane during summer was a concern. I simply wanted to collect the medication from a local pharmacy.
I paid for two telephone-only consultations, completed blood tests, and provided evidence of existing treatment. Despite acceptable results, the doctor refused continuation and no prescription was provided.
By contrast, my existing provider conducted a thorough video consultation and had no issue continuing treatment. InstantScripts took the fees but delivered no outcome.
If you’re an established semaglutide patient (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro) seeking continuity of care rather than a full reassessment, be cautious — this service may add cost and barriers without providing treatment.
Churn and burn, not worth your time
Didnt read the provided notes, dont do what they advertise and he was quite condescending. Save your time and money amd go see a real Australian Gp.
GREAT service!
The doctor I spoke with was brilliant and so helpful. What a wonderful world we live in where we can access doctors and medications without having to be inside a doctor's office!
Very helpful service
I spoke to a lovely Dr this morning, he was very helpful and nothing was a problem for him.

I was really impressed with this service and i got the anitbiotic script I needed filled at a late night chemist that very night! The process was quick and easy and i am sorry I didn't put up my review earlier ~ I was prompted to because I was looking up my previous emails for the exact name of InstantScripts so I can contact them again tonight. Highly recommend.

Quick response but would be better if they gave you at least 1 repeat for regular medications as sometimes it can be a 4-6 week wait to get kn to a GP but otherwise easy service to use
