I came across Instrument Furniture on line and liked their style of wardrobes which were more reasonably priced than similar products I'd seen elsewhere. I wanted to view before buying and the fact that Instrument have a London showroom that can be visited by appointment was a real bonus. The staff were helpful and advised on the best wardrobe to buy for my bedroom which has fairly low ceilings (just over 8 feet high). I selected the Clio 32 180cm wardrobe and it fulfils all my requirements. Good quality, modern looking and (most importantly) spacious enough to store all my clothes, coats and bed linen. Unlike some of the big name stores I visited where they don't have any staff on hand to advise you, the service was excellent. Although Instrument don't have a phone number (which worried me at first) they always answered my emails and messages promptly. Delivery was on the date and time promised and the installers ( I paid the extra for installation) were polite and ensured that I was happy with the finished product before leaving. A good experience all round.

The product (a large wardrobe) looked the same as what was advertised. The delivery was fast and the service was very professional. The delivery men were kind and helpful. We will definitely purchase more products from this company in the future and we highly recommend this service.

It's been a year after purchasing a wardrobe. Yet to deliver the correct products for the drawers for the wardrobe. They blamed it on the factory and nothing has been done to resolve that matter. Extremely disappointed with the service.

Fantastic bedroom set, easy to build. Excellent quality.
Fantastic delivery service, the delivery driver even made sure the mirror was not damaged before leaving.
Cannot recommend this company enough, great value for money.

After being recommended by close family we ordered back in mid July and was told there could be delays due to covid and brexit (not the first items we have ordered that we have been told this could be an issue with so not an issue with this as told at time of order and also had wardrobes to still use.) Kept up to date with progress with emails and phone calls. Asked on final delivery confirmation email to phone my wife 30minutes before arrival but they phoned me... not an issue I just made the phone call to my wife... but they gave 60minutes notice - perfect! On arrival guys were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Easily built the only bit that was difficult for them was the floor wasn't level (floorboards) so they spent a couple of hours trying to level the whole wardrobe... in the end they had to compromise with the levels! The doors all lined up perfectly and closed perfectly but it was leaning and twisted slightly.. not the wardrobes fault or the guys! On review later in the day we decided to lift one corner as you could see the leaning as you walked in the room which made the doors not quite line in the middle but we don't mind... they were fighting a loosing battle with it! There was also a small crack in one of the mirrors but a replacement has been ordered for it. Brilliant service and will use again.

The chat function on the site is brilliant, real people on the other end to answer questions quickly.

The furniture took a long time to arrive but they were up front about that at the time of order, it had to be built first which is fine.

The furniture arrived along with a team to assemble it which was included in the price I paid for the furniture, this was a very nice bonus! Meant I didn’t have to pay another company to put it together. The assembly team also took care of all the packaging and built it perfectly.

Would buy from this company again.

We just had the Ipanema wardrobe installed and we were very pleased with the wardrobe which looks great in our room and is installed very well. The installers were great, courteous and worked hard to install the wardrobe quickly. We were able to track on-line estimated delivery time and the installers very kindly rang 20 mins before arrival. It was installed very professionally. We are having another wardrobe put in soon from this company (the Dixon) and hope we get the same team.

I am so glad I stumbled across this company. I chose the package where they assemble the wardrobes at the same time they deliver them. The units are absolutely wonderful. The whole process felt quick from start to finish and the assembly team were quick and courteous, taking away all the packaging and checking with me along the way exactly where I wanted things placed. I'd highly recommend. They are so much cheaper than the firms that come out to you and measure up pre order, if you are willing just to measure your own space.

After placing my order on a sunday then realising I had ordered the incorrect size, I messaged on the chat from the website thinking I would get a response next day, 5 minutes later I'm chatting to customer service sorting out the changes needed, excellent customer service on a sunday night.

Thought the delivery process I was kept informed of delivery dates.

3 wardrobes arrived on time which was great, ok the back panels of the wardrobes were not the correct size, which is one of those things and it's how a company responds which is important, within 24 hrs the install team (who were very curtious and friendly) were back with the correct panels, Great job.

The final product looks fantastic, hard to see from a website picture what it's really going to look like and we were not dissapointed, really impressed.

Very pleased with the customer service, delivery and assembly time was very quick and much quicker than estimated time given. Impressed with the precision cut and pre drilled holes which made everything line up perfectly (built chest of drawers myself) but had wardrobe assembled as could not possibly have put this together on my own due to its size. The guys did a good job and noticed one shelf had been damaged in delivery and informed the company where we were immediately contacted to see if we wanted a partial refund or replacement. The downside is that unfortunately had a lot of oily hand prints over the wardrobe which I know they tried to avoid but it took alot of cleaning to remove which was quite disappointing and also surprised that there is no stopper to prevent the sliding doors hitting the side of the wardrobe.

My item, a large wardrobe, arrived well within the delivery time that was arranged. The delivery/assembly two man team were courteous, informative and very efficient.
The wardrobe itself looked as good as it did in it's website photos.
A positive experience all round.

Can I not give 0 stars?

Really poor quality furniture and even worse customer service.

Had a bedroom set delivered and built yesterday evening, I have now noticed damage to not only the furniture but to my ceiling also where they have knocked it with the wardrobe. The drawers are all misaligned and look completely shoddy. The wardrobe doors have no stopping mechanism so bang into the sides.

One set of drawers was left for us to build, it came with 3 pieces of paper - no idea what they said as it was all in Polish. Pretty much impossible to build - not that i will be attempting to as I have requested a refund through my credit card company.

The quality is worse than Ikea or argos yet you are paying a premium. Spend your money elsewhere.

As for customer service - this is worse than the furniture, and that's saying something. They have a live chat that wont deal with the issue at all. They have no contact number to ring and completely ignore the problem.

I would disregard lots of the review on here you can clearly see the accent in writing - the same accent all emails and chats have - Clearly Fake Reviews.

Edit order number is 23746. As for not being able to find it, I find that strange as you have emailed us numerous time regarding it.

Edit you have had all the photos and videos on the chat. I fail to see why you need them twice.

Very disappointed with customer service.
I placed and paid for an order online which clearly stated free delivery, received a confirmation email of this only to then receive an email the day later stating we would need to pay £80 to have one chest of drawers delivered. I explained there were no delivery charges on my paid for order to then be told that my order had been cancelled.
