The initial experience was OK, staff were friendly and the installation went off without a problem. The quality of the product though is very poor. The door handles lost their metallic finish after a few months, leaving a white plastic handle behind. And the heads of the screws used to attach the door handles were so sharp that they damaged my leather jackets every time you opened and closed the door. Easy enough to fix, but unfortunately only noticed after the jackets had been damaged. It's basically just very expensive Ikea stuff. (Although I think Ikea is better quality)

I bought a wardrobe from them in 2018. I found it on another site for 3 times the amount of money but both sites using the same picture. I phoned the shop in london and asked about them and told there was one left. I explained I would really like it but we weren’t ready to have it as my room was having a complete makeover so decorating and new floor. So obviously couldn’t go in until the floor was done. They allowed me to pay half of it to secure it and when we were ready for delivery s month later paid the rest and waited for delivery. I was actually in hospital during the last of the decorating bits with sepsis so wasn’t home when it was brought to the house.
Mum was and my brother was here putting up new curtain pole etc the room was empty she looked in and saw the floor of a large double room covered with all the pieces as they laid it al out (I paid £80 for it to be built) and in less than 20mins a 3 door wardrobe was built it is huge and takes up 3/4 of a wall length ways.
Mum said they were extremely polite very quick and couldn’t say a bad thing about them. My brother (managings on building sites ) (the delivery men were polish) my brother recognised some words and there was a lot of swearing while doing the wardrobe but also laughing so typical for putting together something so large.
But from start to finish this company was amazing. Even after a couple of yrs a door bounced off its rail so I couldn’t get it to move. I phoned them and when they had a delivery around the southwest they stopped by and got it back on for me as it was far to heavy for me. There was no charge no problems no anything. Just very polite loveky men in and out in less than 3 mins.
Reason for this late post is cause I have just tried to find them and saw they have gone. As I needed something new and read all the bad reviews. This company was a 1/4 of the price of wayfair but same product.

Such a shame they have gone into insolvency - I brought a wardrobe 2 years ago and used them to have it built. Everything was smooth from delivery to building. Was just about to order another one for my son's room and saw the bad news. Such a shame.

I paid for furniture at the end of February. I had to delay delivery due to hwalth problems. They have since ceased trading!

I don't they are genuine, I had a feeling about them so I used my credit card. I'm now claiming under section 75 of my credit card.

I have now seen the same wardrobes advertised with another company with a different name. Beware

My experience; I received the furniture yesterday after more than 1 month wait. During the witing period, they confirmed the furniture will have a 1-year guarantee. Upon the delivery yesterday, 1 item was missing and the delivery person confirmed yesterday (!) I will get a refund. After checking the furniture I was unhappy and requested a return via email (as per the 14 days return policy). They only then informed me that they applied for Insolvency. As the company is still Active on Companies House, I contacted the Insolvency Service, who informed me that I would need to wait for a winding up order before they can register me as a Creditor. Long journey ahead.. Bye-bye 14 days return policy, 1-year guarantee and money. Best of luck to anyone affected.

Ordered new wardrobe costing almost £4000 early March. Chased them for delivery a couple of weeks ago, told they were experiencing delays with delivery and to follow up again in a couple of weeks ......checked to today and have received an emailed autoreply declaring they have "gone into INSOLVENCY process".....no way to contact anyone!!!

The products are great, the team who actually deliver are great ... The customer service is shocking ... I'll explain ... ordered my furniture, it was part delivered, an item was missing, because despatch wanted decided it was okay to, then after lots of chasing the rest got delivered, in the meantime my wardrobe door needed replacing because it was bowed ... customer service reply ... why don't you swap them around so they don't catch ... after loads of emails, you can't speak to anyone and awful customer service ... my bedroom furniture is here looking good ... would I use them again probably not because you can get the same product elsewhere at the same price ... the only reason I chose them was for delivery ... and that they massively failed on.

It's been almost 11 weeks since we placed an order with Instrument Furniture. I should have listened to my gut initially when it said 'available for immediate delivery' on the website, only for me to be advised it would be 7-9 weeks for delivery. The person on the end of the email then said it was never advertised as being available for immediate delivery (they'd clearly taken this off the website in the meantime). I've had no correspondence to confirm the progress of the order yet they happily whipped the cash out of our account on placing the order. Yet again, another shoddy, extremely unlawful 'retailer' taking money with no intention of supplying the goods. Unsurprisingly there is no form of customer service and no telephone number. Good luck to everyone trying to get their money back. It really is the last thing we need in this current climate.

I paid for a wardrobe to be delivered and assembled. I took an unpaid day off work as they assured me the wardrobe would arrive today. Well it arrived but the men refused to assemble it saying the company had gone bust. They said they’d take it upstairs for free ( normally they would charge!!). Absolutely outrageous!! I’m livid. I’m completely upside down having disposed of my old wardrobe over the weekend. I refused delivery, just imagine if pieces were missing, I wouldn’t know where to go!! The cheek of the delivery guy.. he said I could pay someone to put it together!! I’ve ALREADY paid Instrument for this service!!! They must have known they were in difficulty but they kept on taking orders. I’m bitterly disappointed and out of pocket … but I don’t suppose Vidas Urbutis ( the owner) cares. He lied in his emails and is now ignoring me

I have just found out today after ordering the wardrobe on 5th April that I should get email this week to say it be delivered & cost me £1064 that they have gone bust
I hope they get in contact with me as I can not afford to lose this money

"Cease of trade". Have ordered a wardrobe for a total of £979. Was due to be delivered this weekend with a notification I'd get a call half an hour before. No call, no delivery. Went to the email to chase this to find all socials have been removed and website is now saying cease of trade. No contact details, no response to email. Spoke to the fraud team thinking this may be a fake website. They could only provide 1 mobile number to call for them and it just calls and no answer. Now a wardrobe down for me and my child. The last of my money I had for us with a lot of saving to help get us set up in our home. And down pretty much £1k.

After waiting months and being told it’s a factory delay, now they are insolvent!

As per previous customer. Bought £1300 of bedroom furniture for our daughter. Two of four pieces wrong colour and design - deliverers/assemblers took those two away - claiming no one to contact at office. When we did - got email - INSOLVENT. TP - you need to adjust your rating - we bought from them because their TP rating was good!

They were 4 hours late for delivery. Demanded full cash before assembly, paid it all, then after I gave them the cash they assembled the wardrobe and said they ran out of stock for the lights which I paid £146 for and instead of giving me the equivalent cash back they told me they “had to take the full £900 still” and to contact them for a refund. Went to contact them to find out they have now ceased trading. The assemblers knew this hence why they kept the full £900 instead of giving me the cash back. No response to chat, no response to emails. No phone number provided. Scammed me.

I just wanted to say thank you for your service which was great experience from online team to the delivery and assembly staff, very professional furniture company this is the 2nd time we bought wardrobe between January and April, entire process from ordering to delivery and assembly was excellent no fault please keep up the good work I will be using your company again and again 5star if was 7 star I would have been given. And the quality of the furniture absolutely excellent.

Ordered the Cleo 250 ml wardrobe and it was a very quick and professional process and service. I had it delivered and installed within the week as it's a stock wardrobe.
Fitters very pleasant, and I'm really happy with the wardrobe.

Excellent customer service. The entire process from ordering to delivery and assembly of the wardrobe was faultless. Website easy to use, information on how to order, measure etc clear and precise. Delivery arrived on time and chaps who delivered and assembled the product were friendly, polite, respectful to myself and home. Tidy up before they left taking all packaging with them.
