We expressed our concern with Conor and requested that the workmanship with regards to the installation, NOT have any exposed wiring/conduits along the exterior of our home. He assured us that there will be no visible conduits on the exterior of our home & will be fed through the wall cavities. The installation was completed by Chris H. We now have awful looking conduit running from under the upper story eave into my garage roof. Then from garage roof eave into the brick wall. We found that the installers have cut corners & had cut numerous holes into the sarking in order to CABLE TIE the conduits to the roof trusses. This is absolutely NOT acceptable. Its an easy, cheap and lazy way of fixing the conduits & entirely lacking in quality workmanship approach to an installation; especially where conduit holders are relatively inexpensive and should have been used to secure the conduit to the roof frame. Our home is a recent build, the sarking was intact. This has now undermined the integrity of the sarking and eliminating the purpose of it. This has left us with the potential of multiple leaks, wind in the space, mildew and rot into the roof cavity, not to mention the thermal efficiency. They also assured us that they were lodging paperwork for the meter etc, and we have now realised they have not followed through. We have written to Instyle Support via their dedicated 'support' email address over 6 weeks ago with photo evidence of the texts, and works. To date we have not heard any reply.

where do I start? what an incompetent and pathetic Organisation! Lawyers and Politicians are looking pretty good compared to this Company. I have had issues from the very beginning. Two guys show up and not one word of English and I ask them what they were doing at my house and they only pointed to the electrical box and said. " put switch in". Mind you it was pouring rain on the day and I thought well they are only here to check the meter box. I went missing for a few hours and on returning only to realise that they commenced installing the solar panels in the pouring rain.
It took them a few days to install and they hadn't completed the inverter so on returning they drilled holes in my brand new wall I had just finished rendering but in the wrong location even after consulting with them about where the location of the Inverter was.
Days later on a Sunday to be more precise some guys showed up taking things off the inverter. They told us the Job was finished and needed to pay the remainder of the money. We refused because the meter wasn't upgraded like they said and promised. We waited for weeks for a reply and were lied to by the salesperson that someone will come and finish the job. We eventually got Origin to come out and to the meter upgrade but we did this ourselves and now we find that our hotter system isn't working nor our air-conditioning. We have tried for the past two months to resolve the issue and every one passes the buck and on speaking with the sales person I WAS TOLD THAT SOMEONE WILL COME OUT WHEN GOOD AND READY. I am passed furious at this point so I called the manager Summer and she promised someone would call but again no one did. So Today I managed to get in touch with someone because I threatened to take legal action and I was now told that if someone was to come out I would be charged. I was also told that because I delayed payment to them even though the works hadn't been completed that most likely no one would come out.

I am running a lead to the hot water system so we can take showers but I can't place it any where safe so if it rains we are in danger of exposing a lie lead to the elements.

I have a grandson and if by the any chance I forget to unplug the lead and something happens I promise you ....you better start running because I will find you and thats a promise! I am sick and tired of companies that think they can do what they want with peoples lives.

From the start of the process the salesman was 100% sure we would have next to no bill when this has not been anywhere near the case while we are out of pocket $8000 of our savings plus the government rebate on top
Our bills are still around $300 and now $ 411 I wouldn’t have wasted my money

I installed a 10.79kW + 16kW Battery.

I received many offers from multiple solar companies, yet I chose Instyle Solar as they were the only company that cared about the quality of the system and offered the best mix of different components.

Solar systems involve dozens of elements that affect the performance of both short-term and long-term. It is very risky to make your system unsustainable and have a lifelong hassle.

Marian explained every single element; the solar panels, the battery, the inverters, the conductors used, different warranties, and more!

Sam led the installation and took about 5 hours to finish the system on a rainy day!

I cannot recommend this company. They subcontract their install in NSW at least, to local companies, so they are not local. Instyle solar make promises that they are the best, justifying their high retail cost - at least 30% more then other competitors. Since install one month ago, I have had to personally try and arrange the inverter to be commissioned, despite this not being my job. I've also had leaks, destroying my ceiling gyprock. Additionally it took instyle solar one month to submit the requirements, applications neccesary for my electricity provider to feed my solar back to the grid. Application still pending. Still no benefits. What a cluster of a mess. I have now lost over one month in revenue even after paying over 14k for this unit and considerable damages caused by leaks after install. Don't go with them guys. If problems continues, I will lodge dispute with local court. I'm done with these cowboys.

Back in mid March I wrote a review on InStyle Solar.

Well my issue continues.

They failed to exhibit due care and skill at affixing the solar panels to our roof. They are now likely to fall off our roof, a comment they have not disputed.

They are not willing to follow through on their warranty, by fixing the issue, it has now been 7 weeks with absolute no action, except for hollow promises they never follow through on.

Given the panels may fall from the roof, the solar panels are not fit fir the purpose. They can’t and won;t generate solar power if they fall from the roof, and installation is that bad, then how can we trust the operation and efficiency of the solar panels;

And as I have witnessed they will not make reasonable effort to fix their issue, but will take an unreasonable time to action your issue.

I strongly suggest you think twice if you want to deal with InStyle Solar,or be warned you are likely to have the same trouble I am experiencing.

Everyone was great - prompt, polite and very helpful. Whole process was smooth and easy - very happy!

Highly recommend. The entire process was super smooth, minimal effort required on my side. Kept me updated constantly throughout the process and was installed within 2 weeks.
If I did have to provide a negative it was only that the sales rep never answered my questions after the sale was completed, even though he said to reach out if I had any questions. This is only minor but if there is another department to contact would have been better to advise to direct all questions to them. I also wasn't pitched or upsold on battery, so I'm not sure how much this would cost if I wanted it in future.
Overall, I'm happy with the overall experience, very smooth and stress free experience. Pay a little more for a more premium service and product.

Second property I have used Instyle Solar to install my solar system. When I purchased a new home I immediately thought of Rory at Instyle Solar. He has a fantastic knowledge of the industry and his customer service is second to none. I knew I could trust him and the information and service provided. Nathan was my contact in the day of installation and he went above and beyond for me when they found cracked tiles under my old system. Would not hesitate to recommend Instyle to anyone.

Our first contacts with Admin staff were a wonderful example of Instyle's professionalism and personal approach, and we were grateful they met our request for following us up.
At our meeting, Brock was so easy to understand in his explanations of how solar works, as well as how the finances work. We were grateful for his suggestions and the breathing space to think about our decision, while at the same time he recognised we needed support to move forward.
Mark and the installers were a great bunch. They too were professional, friendly, clear in the explanation of the inverter, and they had a great play list that kept me motivated that day too!

I have had my 6.66kw Solar System installed now for 6 months and I have received 2 quarter bills, and both bills have come with a credit on my account.
I would like to thank Adrian Wright, who was the solar expert who had signed us up and explained everything in detail on how solar would be beneficial both economically and financially.
It has been a pleasure for us to see our bills minimised by choosing to get solar and thanks to Adrian from Instyle Solar for educating us.
I would surely recommend Instyle solar to anyone wanting a good quality solar system with excellent warranties and you get what to pay for, which is a quality solar system.

I have a 6.6 system sold at 8000 dollars plus. Immediately it was put up I started sharing what I have achieved at 6,000 plus not realizing I signed an agreement for 8,000 plus. I almost had a panic attack after everyone I shared to was laughing at me that I was ripped off. Telling me the same thing should have cost me 4000 dollars and below.
I can strongly advise people not to go with InStyle solar before looking around. I did a mistake, however, I assumed even if I do not get another quote the difference margin will be small. Trusted the company being there for long can not over price.
They are very expensive compared to other solar companies unless they explain the reason why I can not advise one to go with them due to pricing.

I had the pleasure dealing with Shaun Fitzgerald absolute legend and professional and he is the reason we have chosen InStyle
Used easy to understand terms regarding Solar and answered all our questions in a prompt positive way .
Also Janinec and Jayden very professional as well .

I've had my solar installed from these guys for around 4 years now. It was one of the best investments i've ever made. i havent had a power bill for 4 years. I fully recommend instyle solar for the quality of work and service.Only one regret, i jst wish i got it alot sooner..Thanks guys

Unfortunately I had very bad experience with Instyle. they have installed the 9,250 KW system at my house for $12,000 backed on 1/9/2020. their promise was to save minimum $2k and Max $4k per year.
- The first quarter which it was between 26/8/20 to 25/11/20 Solar charge -$0.00.
- Second quarter from 26/11-9/1/2021 Solar charge -$0.00.
-third quarter from 10/1/2021-15/4/2021 Solar Charge -$31.82.
-Fourth bill from 16/4-15/7 Solar charge -$60.04.
-Fifth bill from 16/7-15/10 Solar Charge -$107.48.

That's mean in almost 1 year I saved $199.35 Only.

I have called them and contact the Rep for more than 10 times , they kept tell me there is something wrong but no one care or following up. I kept trying and they kept sending stupid message said "We will be with you shortly". I have recorded all messages, conversation calls, emails...etc I am still yet waiting for them to fix the issues. Any Recommendations!!
