Worst Customer Service EVER

I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life as I have from InsuranceFair. I purchased a wedding insurance policy in 2018 in readiness for my wedding in 2020. Due to the pandemic situation we needed to extend the policy to cover our new wedding date, which was outlined in their COVID FAQs as being a possibility. I am yet to have that policy extended, over 20 months since my initial contact with them. They have been instructed by the Financial Ombudsman Service to do just this, but still nothing. Absolutely appalling service. Avoid them. Do not use them. Awful

Too early to know

Had no reason to call on the insurance as yet so not able to comment on how good it might be but I have high expectations and confident that it will provide cover as required. Good reports from know users so hope all is well as and if needed.

Just purchased by renewal.

Never really sure when booking cheap on-line insurance how reliable it will be when you have a claim, but in fairness to these guys I had a hole in one recently and they refunded my bar bill without a quibble. So just started a new year with them again.

I had problems from the outset with…

I had problems from the outset with this company. They weren't taking any direct debits but assured me I was still insured?! After 3 months of being told they were sincerely sorry and still not sorting out the monthly direct debit payments, I went with my bank instead. I received an email stating my policy had been cancelled. Almost 7 months later and they have taken a payment from my account that has not been authorised. What kind of company is this?! I want my money back and to be done with them.

Inadequate response

Response received showed that whoever read my initial email didn’t read it properly and hence the response was of no use.
