My name is Luis Avila and I have been a professional simultaneous interpreter for 20 years. Due to the still ongoing COVID-19 pandemic I, as have most of my colleagues, had to look for alternatives to keep working. At this point I have used many of the available remote interpretation platforms and even though I think all of them are pretty good Interactio stands apart. As an interpreter, Interactio's interface or virtual console is by far the most familiar/ user friendly, with all the features a physical console would have in an interpreters' booth. Also, we all know that whenever we work remotely we are at the mercy of the Internet gods and very little can be done about that, however it is evident that the platform itself is the more stable platform requiring very little or no corrective actions throughout the job. I case any action is necessary the tech support team is always ready and always friendly. Since I mentioned the Interactio team I would like to single out Laura Donea, Remote Interpretation Manager, who has made this transition from real world to virtual incredibly easy and comfortable for me, and has kept me and my interpretation partner organized to perfection. If you haven't tried Interactio you should, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Overall, it was a great experience. It was so easy to set-up and easy to use! I did not hear any complaints from any of the listeners and the interpreters. Our correspondent from Interactio helped all the way from preparation to the end of the conference.

Interactio platform is a very user-friendly and well devised interpreting platform, and I highly recommend it. The interactio team managed very well our request despite the short time before the event.
Answers to my questions were prompt and comprehensive. We used interpreter and all listeners appreciated the quality of the translation, sound clarity and ease of use of the app.

We've used Interactio for several events and working with them for live translation is painless, easy, and quick. They don't need much to get up and running, and the customer service and accounts team are very responsive to any requests. Highly recommend working with them for your live translation requirements.

We have been using Interactio at our church for one month now. Our services use three languages and the app makes it so simple for listeners to choose their desired language. The sound quality is excellent, but it is important to use a proper directional microphone to minimise stage noise. Interactio provides very good support and they will work with you to get the best out of their product.

We had a very good experience with Interactio while hosting an international video conference with simultaneous translation! Not only was the Interactio team very helpful prior to the event but also always approachable during and after the event. The plattform offers a good opportunity to include an international audience into events.

I cannot say enough about much this app enhanced the quality of our conference. It was easy to use, the support we received was excellent, and they assisted us on very short notice. I am highly recommending this app to partners in our field.

I chose Interactio for both our online events in June and July 2020. We had translation into just one language (Spanish) at our first event and into three languages (Japanese, Chinse, Korean) at our second event. Despite the fact that we used two platforms for presentations (Zoom and Remo), provided quite limited information to translators beforehand, and prolonged our event (+2 hours approx.), everything went smooth and our participants enjoyed the process. Support was there for me and helped me with all the questions I had. Now my plan is to implement Interactio also to our offline events!

Great experience for test pilot
I'm confident we will build a strong relationship. Interactio gives us the possibility to organize simultaneous translations with just one click and adapts to the current context (quarantine). The app is easy to use, really user friendly even for people who is not familiar with the technology.

Review of Interactio
Positives - the platform is very user-friendly for interpreters. The quality of sound of interpretation that participants hear is very good. It is also very reassuring (for both interpreters and participants) to have the option of online technical assistance throughout the meeting.

Challenges - for the average person, it can be confusing in the beginning to work between the app on one's phone, and the video feed on the laptop, if one is linking Interactio to another virtual communication platform. Speakers need to get used to "pausing" the app when they are speaking themselves, so that they don't also hear interpretation at the same time.

Perhaps a few Tutorials provided by Interactio, in multiple languages, could assist with this?

This was the first ever large event online. All went OK. Of course there are small things to improve/avoid such as the list of participants and speakers are in the same long list. A filter or separated list will make it easy to handle. Technical support was great during the even and very helpful. It was great experience, a bit difficult for us as the main speakers/interpreters and participants were from Albania and there were packet losses due to Internet connectivity. Definitely Albanian ISP must step up to improve services.

Very stable platftorm and professional and competent staff!

As an interpreter, I love the feature and easy to learn the dashboard. It is ultimate that you have a stable high good connection with Ethernet cable and proper Microphone. This is the future of interpreting as more and more people are familiar with online meeting platform after COVID-19. And Interactio is one of the best Remote Interpreting Platforms.
