After my horrendous experience with my previous host I attempted to switch to a higher-rated one, which was INWX.
I've bought my domain, registered it in my webhosting package I bought with it, and 2 hours later all I get is an Apache error because THEY messed up they're FROXLOR structure.
After asking support about it, I've essentially been told "We found the folder structure to be wrong, so we tried this but it still doesn't work, have fun."

Additionally, you HAVE to pay 20€ a year for SSL [Let's Encrypt! is seemingly not supported despite FROXLOR supporting it, and my question about this has been completely ignored], while this is a basic for many other registerers.

I'm giving 2 stars though because it's not *all* bad, they have fully refunded my [mind you completely dysfunctional] webhosting package with in 1 business day of my inquiry and responded to my follow up with in just a few hours.

Timely and helpful and quick response helped me get the my issue resolved fast.

Honestly I did not think it couldn’t get worse after the mail disaster, but the new webpage doesn’t work on my Mac and I have to navigated this cluster f… from my phone. Can’t wait to get rid of my dealings with this company.

I was looking for domain registrar for 1 month - to buy domain for my Norway based client. I tried big names like Godaddy, Hostinger, Bluehost, and other but they failed to registered my domain. Then i asked the chatGPT to recommend a domain registrar for Norway based domain it recommend INWX - i register my domain here with support from INWX team. I recently purchased a domain through INWX, and nearly a month has passed without any progress on updating the name servers. This extended delay not only causes inconvenience but also casts serious doubts on whether the domain purchase was even successfully completed. Despite multiple inquiries to their support team, the responses have been unsatisfactory and vague.

In an industry where prompt service and transparency are essential, such delays and lack of clear communication are deeply troubling. To make matters worse, INWX consistently shifts the blame onto Freenom, repeatedly responding with templated messages stating that the delay is due to Freenom’s slow processing. No matter how many times I contact them, the answer remains the same—no real resolution, just the same excuse. I suspect that even in response to this review, they will say the same thing.

Until INWX takes real responsibility and improves its reliability, I cannot recommend their domain registration services to anyone seeking a dependable provider.

It's kinda expensive, but pretty good option if you live outside the EU and want to buy a .it domain.

Kept increasing the price for my domain way beyond what their start price for that toplevel domain is, which is already more than other providers ask for.
In the end it was 160 Euro to renew. I risked to let it expire.
After about 2 weeks in the ominous "domain drop zone" it went back to the market and I bought it for 7 Euro at another registrar.
While it was in the domain drop zone, when I searched for the domain on their site, the UI would for a moment show the domain to the price they have similar domains for (around 30 Euro), before updating to not available.
It is 2 not 1 star, because they at least did not register it themselves to keep me from buying it back for a reasonable price.

I don't know why they never respond my emails.
I've written 5 emails in 3 weeks and their inwx.com support email doesn't even have an autoresponder.

The domain transfer was largely automated, so painless. Be aware that paying a Transfer Fee for many international domains often does not include a 1-year domain renewal.

The Domain Price List, perhaps because it's so comprehensive, was freezing on multiple Chromium-based browsers for me. That means I couldn't access my specific TLD's Transfer and Renewal details.

Specifically, there are two places to look for whether your TLD includes renewal with transfer:
1. On the Price List, as long as it's fully loaded, there is a column with a "P" header. Upon mouse hover will it read, "Minimum period in years." A "0" here means that renewal is not included.
2. The other place appears after drilling down on the TLD link in the Price List. A row near the bottom of the TLD's details reads, "Renewal on Transfer."

Look to those two places to find transfer fee details about your TLD. ATM, neither INWX's Domain Transfer checkout cart system and email updates don't posit domain renewal fee inclusion.

INWX's support team was able to help me solve my issue with this fee confusion.

One star dropped for the Domain Pricing List web page locking-up. In the future, INWX could add a user option to download the full Domain Pricing List as a CSV or XLS, rather than rely solely on that Pricing List web page.

For those who aren't technically inclined, like me, understanding website issues can be challenging. INMW's technical service is truly exceptional. They help identify and resolve problems with remarkable efficiency. Their support is outstanding.

Generally have found the site easy to use and their support helpful and responsive when required.

It was beneficial, and the issues were resolved immediately.
