I was genuinely frustrated when I couldn't do something, but by the time the agent walked me through everything step by step, I was super impressed... fantastic customer service!

Extremely disappointing experience with IONOS.

I requested cancellation of my Web Hosting Plus service on 4 September 2026. On 7 September, IONOS confirmed in writing that my contract had been cancelled.

Despite this, I continued receiving invoices, including £10.80 in October and another £10.80 in November.

What is the point of confirming a cancellation if you continue billing the customer?

I made it absolutely clear that I no longer wanted or needed the service. Instead of respecting my decision, I have had to waste my time chasing this issue and raising a payment dispute with Lloyds Bank.

I have emails and invoices to support everything I am saying.

I want any wrongly collected payments refunded, all future charges stopped, and a proper explanation.

IONOS, cancelling a service should not be this difficult. Extremely poor customer experience. I would not recommend this company.

Very decent experience with this company, I transferred my domain over to another supplier when archiespencer.com built my new website and it was a seamless process

Completed my purchase for a domain. Didnt receive an email to the one i had entered instead it went to a different email. I changed it over to the one i had originally requested after some unhelpful ai help as the layout it was advising was not the layout i was seeing so its directions were useless. Amended my email, recieved an email so knew it was correct. Went to give the details to my website designer bf to help me set it up. Because it was a new device it needed a code. Code wasnt recieved so i logged back in and saw a pop up saying my email is having issued. I went to check it and someone the portal no longer had my correct email. I am unable to amend my email because i dont have access to the incorrect email to received the code. So i raised a ticket. The guy apprently read the first half of my ticket gave me a solution. The solution i had spent most of the day trying... which shockingly as i dont have the email they have i cant do... please someone with a brain reach out and fix this before i take my business elsewhere

The AI assistant answered first, and my heart sank, but when I requested to be put through to "a human agent" this happened very quickly. Millie was polite, friendly and helpful. She answered my questions and guided me through a process which resolved my problem.

An absolute scam can’t cancel and always harassing me for offers deals, then refer payments to debit collections and still can’t cancel what a shambles

Good Response on answering the call. Great customer service and you don't have to run through hoops to find a number to call and speak to a human being - the call wait time was also very acceptable. The response from the support guys was very polite and by very helpful and patient person. Well done IONOS. In this day and age overall support was very impressive as far as I am concerned.

Initially spoke to an ‘AI’ assistant. Unlike most chatbots, this one understood my needs, eventually realising I needed to be transferred to a human! Problem dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Ionos - miles ahead of my previous provider.

Although I was first connected to an AI assistant and it was a good one, when I requested a human I was able to wait a few mins for a great customer service person who was infinitely patient with me and walked me through the reset step by step. She was exceptionally good.
