I had an absolutely terrible experience…

I had an absolutely terrible experience with I Park Parking at Gatwick and would strongly advise others to avoid using this service.

When I returned from my trip, I discovered my car had been left unlocked, which is completely unacceptable and a serious security concern. To make matters worse, I then found out my car had been taken miles away from Gatwick Airport, despite trusting them to safely look after it while I was away.

The nightmare didn’t end there — after contacting them, I was left waiting 2 and a half hours for them to return my vehicle. After a long journey, the last thing anyone wants is to be stranded at the airport waiting because of a company’s incompetence.

I paid expecting convenience, security, and professionalism. Instead, I got stress, wasted time, and the worry of knowing my car had been left unsecured somewhere far from where I handed it over.

Completely unacceptable service. I will never use I Park Parking again and would not recommend them to anyone considering parking at Gatwick
Never use

Scammers - AVOID

Only giving one star as couldn't give zero. Scammers. Left my car in the car park all week. Took 3 hours to get my key back but they didn't give it to me, they moved the car without us knowing as it was parked on a different floor and left the key on the wheel. We were then faced with a £552 fee when exiting the carpark. All foreign scammers.

Do not under any circumstance use this…

Do not under any circumstance use this company. We were totally scammed, they didn’t move my car from the short stay car park, so I had to pay £420 to get out of Gatwick car park with 2 very unhelpful parking attendants (sounds like luck of the draw as some people were let off their large parking fees and others not!) they stole all of my charging wires and cash that was in the car too.

Gatwick are aware of it, as are the police and watchdog have reported on them however this company change their company name and continue trading.

Avoid at all costs

Drop-off was fine, but on return I called the driver number as instructed upon landing and was told to expect my car within 25-35 minutes. Over 2.5 hours later, still no car, and the driver number and duty number were both unanswered despite repeated calls. Had to leave a written complaint via email as there was no way to get through to anyone on the phone. Based on other reviews I've since read, this seems to be a recurring issue with this operator. Would not recommend, and will be pursuing a refund through my card provider.

Absolute joke that no one knew which compound out of 8 it was in.. had no option to call police and in end had to Uber back home at expense of 70 quid which im still waiting on refund as promised 4 days later and collect car next day !!!! All other cx had same experience no answer of calls , rude staff and no organization. 1 guy going back and forth dropping off and picking up with extensive delays. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM OPERATIONS IN GATWICK AND ANY OTHER AIRPORT. COMPLETE SHAM

Scam - The One Show (3rd June)

Identified as a scam on The One Show (3 June) — unfortunately after we had already used them.

We paid for a “Meet and Greet” service via a compare parking website, but were diverted to a shed 15 minutes from Gatwick due to an alleged road issue. Said road issue did not exist, as a minibus dropped us to the airport. Upon arriving at the shed, staff confirmed they could operate the car (an electric vehicle, which has a sensor to open) but this clearly wasn’t the case.

On return, it took over 10 calls and nearly 2.5 hours to get the car back, with excuses including waiting for the rain to stop. Other customers experienced even longer delays, and requests for transport back to the site were refused, advising they did not have any minibuses to pick us up despite minibuses being used earlier to take us to the airport.

When I got home, I noticed the car had been returned with scratches on the sensor pad, caused by them scratching the key up and down it. Unfortunately, it was too late to dispute the damage and having read other reviews, would have been a pointless effort to claim damages and I feel I got off lightly compared to others.

Overall, a complete sham. The audacity of their staff members to persevere with this con is alarming. Also very concerning that they are still allowed to operate by both Gatwick and the police.

I wish I read the reviews before I…

I wish I read the reviews before I booked this service. On the drop off we were arriving for 3am and the number we were told to call was going to voicemail until the last minute when they picked up. They then had us waiting for nearly an hour, putting our flight at risk and we had our 2 year old with us. The customer service was terrible, the staff were argumentative rather than apologetic for the issues caused. On return they again had us waiting in the car park for about an hour, though we called when we landed to try and avoid delays. They then gave us a car park ticket that was over a week old and had charges for £700 on it. Luckily we were able to pay the correct amount of £8 at the barrier. Would not recommend this service

Be warned This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Be warned. Above the anger I feel is disappointment that I could let myself be scammed by con artists. After waiting an hour for the car (not ideal. It ok these things happen) was given the exit ticket which clearly showed my car had entered the car park just before. As I left another red car (presumably another car from one of their customers) temporarily blocked us exiting due to an apparent inability to reverse out
Of a space. As we approached the exit barrier the same car sped out tailgating another exiting car. At the same time I was presented with a parking bill of £210 so my car had never officially left the car park and I assume they had tailgated another car out to make it appear mine had left. All a con. Have reported to trading standards and the police. Avoid at all costs.

Outrageous service

If you want a stress-free and enjoyable trip, never leave your car with this company. Choosing this parking service could easily make you miss your flight because they either have absolutely no sense of urgency or are simply hopelessly disorganized.
You may even witness customers discovering that their vehicles have been damaged while in the company's care. What is even more shocking is how difficult it can be to get your own car keys back when you raise concerns.
After returning from your holiday, exhausted and travelling with two young children in the middle of the night, don't be surprised if you are left waiting well over an hour for your car to be delivered. Apparently, customer service means nothing to these people.
And just when you think the nightmare is finally over, you may find yourself trapped at the airport exit barrier being told that you somehow owe an additional £840 for reasons nobody can properly explain. An outrageous and completely unacceptable experience.
I genuinely do not understand how a company operating at this level of incompetence is still in business. From start to finish, this was one of the most frustrating, stressful and infuriating customer experiences I have ever had.
Avoid this company at all costs. I would not recommend them to anyone.

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!!

AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! We booked 8 days parking at Gatwick Airport from 24th to 31st May 2026 with iPark Gatwick Meet and Greet through compareparkingprices.co.uk costing £109 and no airport fees. We phoned iPark at 11pm on 31st May just as we was picking up our luggage. Not a problem even though it did take a couple of calls for them to answer but we figured that they’ll be busy as a plane has just landed and perhaps we weren’t the only one using them. We were told to go Orange car park Level 4. Then it went downhill. We turned up with another couple and there was a couple already there. We waited, called them again, told car is on it’s way, another family turn up. Repeat, repeat, repeat. In all there were 8 families, some with young children, couples, people waiting for their cars. All had used iPark. One woman actually phoned the police who said they couldn’t do anything, but that was the third call that day about them. One family was told to pick up their car on level 2, so some of us bundled in to the lift with them to ask the driver what was going on. The driver told us to contact the office and then ran away. So we called the office to be told that our car is next. We wait and we wait and we wait. One family found their car in the same space as they’d parked it!! Another was told that their keys had been lost!! Someone else calls the office and their car will be on it’s way soon and that the cars are about 10-12 minutes away. We got a phone call just before 2am to say that our car was on Level 3 with the driver. Car is there, no driver and the keys are left on the driver’s front wheel. Next to it was a Blue Mercedes that we had seen going around the car park an hour and a half earlier, with the owner desperately looking for his key. How much was that going to cost in parking? In the end it took over 100 phone calls and 3 hours to get our car back and cost £8 to exit the car park but we feel we got off lightly compared to other peoples stories that we’ve heard about. They were also mentioned on BBC’s The One Show (June 3rd) last week with other shoddy parking companies.

Compareparkingprices.co.uk emailed us to ask for a review. We wrote a shortened version of the above with a 1 star review (can’t leave zero) and haven’t seen it since. I’m guessing they don’t want other people to see poor reviews.

This is an absolute disgrace

This is an absolute disgrace, these people do not answer the phone and when they answer they're extremely rude.
When I handed over my car and went inside the terminal passed security, on my phone my car showed that its unlocked, I called to ask way my car is unlocked, the person on the other side shouted and said if you want your car come and take it, I was 30 min from boarding.
Coming back they said the car will be at the car park after 40 min, he appeared after 1 hour and 20 min with the inside of the dirty with someone spilled a drink
They do not deserve to be in the business.
I wish I saw the reviews before booking with these useless company.
Please please don't deal with them..
If there was an option with zero star I would give it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
On dropoff they sent us to the wrong car park meaning we had to pay additional parking fees.
On collection we were quoted 45 mins... nearly 3 and half hours later, with the police in attendence we got our cars back!

One lady dopping off left her car and keys as she was going to miss her flight. The driver collecting stated he owned the car ! I have video evidence of this.

I have contacted the booking agents to remove them from their site as there will be so many uphappy customers.

BEWARE THEY ALSO GO UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME EASY???

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.

DON'T DO IT!!!

DON'T DO IT!!!
Do not book with these people. They send you to the wrong carpark for drop off and then expect you to pay the exit fee to be able to re enter to go to another car park. Collecting the car was even worse, took over 4 hours to get our car back and that was with police involvement! These people will abandon your car on any car park level if they know the police are in attendance. A family found there car on a different level than agreed, unlocked and with the keys left under the car!
We confronted a worker who was collecting a car, who could not answer any of our questions. He ran away with the keys for the car he was supposed to be collecting leaving it park awkwardly and unlocked.

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. Booked through compare airport parking who I also would never use again as they take no responsibility for advertising these scammers. Arrived at the airport at 1.30am. Was told ‘an hour’ to have the car delivered. After 60 calls and 8 hours waiting in the cold we were told they had lost our car key. A search of the short stay car park revealed they had left the car there for 5 days. We then had to pay for a taxi to collect and deliver our spare car key and then had to pay £350 to get out of the car park. There were plenty of others being scammed at the same time including 2 young girls who had to pay £450 and a gentleman who had to send his young family home in a taxi and then pay £720 to get out. Gatwick airport must be in on it as they are profiting from this. Disgusting behaviour THIS CANNOT CONTINUE TO BE ALLOWED

Nerve wracking wait at the car park for…

Nerve wracking wait at the car park for an hour and a half.
In the end we left our details and car key with a man who had come to transport someone else and just had to leave as we were anxious about catching our plane.
We were not alone, there were a group of people equally anxious. We also had to pay a lot more for the car park time we had had before we ran into the airport.
We were not sure if we would see our car again and finally managed to contact them a couple of days into our holiday. No apology or explanation - just yes, we have got your car.
On our return, a man just handed us the key and scarpered. The few bits of cash we had left in it were gone( to be expected) and there was a new scratch on the car. Don’t ever use these people!!!!!!
