This was a great experience, the best thing I ever did. IVF at embio is carried out in a very professional way. I had to use donor eggs due to my age, and I was reserved about my feelings, they explained the pros and cons completely impartially to help with my decision, over the phone before I booked. It helped so much.

The centre itself is big and very hygenic, they had no problems showing me as much as I wanted to see. After the treatment, I stayed in Greece for a little while to enjoy the weather like a holiday.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was a mixture of excited and relieved and very very nervous! Due in 4 months now, can't wait!!

I’m 50. We were interested for egg donation. I don’t have any other children. Embio clinic is perfect. A nice place to be when someone wants to conceive a baby. When we checked on the internet we made a contact with the IVF coordinator and she sounded so positive. We were worried that when we went there they’d say they can’t help us. But they told us that they would try.
The treatment was not difficult at all. The embryo transfer was OK, everything went fine. No pain, but I felt very sentimental.

The first time we came we stayed for three days to discuss with the Doctor and decide on the first medication. We could do that from Sweden but we decided to go to Embio for that. Three weeks later we came again and stayed for four days.
The clinic looks very professional, very clean, very modern, to be honest, much better than I expected.

The clinic is not far from the airport. It’s very easy to come here. We stayed at a hotel nearby and we can go on foot to the clinic.
Everything was OK. We would recommend Embio and Dr Paraschos to everyone who wants to have a baby via egg donation.

The first was unsuccessful. Three months after the first we tried again. Dr Paraschos said to wait a little so my body would recover. It didn’t take very much.

Now I have two girls, non-identical twins, a bit different at first, but now they are play mates.

At Embio they were all very helpful, very nice. The clinic is not far from Athens or the airport, and it’s quiet around there. I stayed in a hotel nearby.

Dr Paraschos is lovely. “Don’t worry,” he said, “you’ll have twins.”
And I did have twins in the end.
He’s not a prophet, but it worked out.
He seemed very positive.

I’m 45 and had IVF with my own eggs at Embio. This is my first try. I googled ivf clinics in Europe, saw the profiles of all the clinics and then I chose Embio because of Dr Thanos Paraschos’ profile and also the ivf cost at Embio.

I was told that I could start the treatment at home, but I decided to go and do everything at the clinic. The reason was I got needlophobia and I couldn’t inject myself. So I stayed almost 3 weeks in Athens and did everything there.

During the embryo transfer I didn’t feel any pain. It was like a smear test.

Dr Paraschos is brilliant! I can’t explain how good he is! Sotiria, the IVF coordinator, she is the best! And Maria… they were so nice with me. All the stuff just brilliant! They really take care of you. They respond right away. Dr Paraschos replies to you quickly for anything you want to know.
