JCB Movers are a great team.
We booked them in December 2019 and they stored our possessions for us until we moved to Carhaix in Brittany in March 2020.
There was a delay due to brexit and covid.
They are a fantastic team, always happy, chatty and laughing makes for a very stressful occasion easier to manage.
They stored our things with no fuss. Getting the Customs paperwork complete was not easy as but this didn't phase John at all, he handled it extremely well. John being the main guy was the only person I spoke to in communications but he was fantastic due to being very informative, he didn't stress about things and took it all in his stride. The actual move in day when our things arrived was also fuss free with their usual happy nature.
I would recommend John and his team to anyone who want a fuss free move to go as smoothly as possible.

John and his crew were absolutely fantastic from start to finish helpful loaded the vans with care and unloaded with even more care! It was absolutely roasting hot the day we moved and they all worked really hard. Thanks guys will definitely use you again if we ever move again 😊 highly recommend 👍

We used JCB movers (John, Brooklyn and Riley) late last month and couldn’t have been happier with the service they provided. They were very professional and made the stressful experience of moving seem really straightforward. John was very responsive over email and through calls before the day of our move. There was also no shortage of boxes, tape and paper that was delivered to us when we requested it a week before the move (we had a lot leftover too!) The day of the move they turned up right on time and handled all of our furniture with care whilst also being very efficient. Throughout the day they were also very friendly and happy to help wherever they could. Overall I would recommend JCB movers (John and team) to anyone who is planning on moving. Thanks again! Successful container delivery to London with JCB Movers.

I arranged for John to move me and my family on the 24th June. This was all agreed and confimed. However John decided to Ghost me on the 23rd by blocking my phone number. I assume he got a better job elsewhere and instead of honouring his word he blocked me. I have all conversations which i would be happy to publish to prove this. Most important part of a removal company is to turn up on the day. Unfortunaly with JCB movers you cannot guarentte they will. I can see dishonest John has replied below indicating that we were not confirmed for removal - this is a false statement from John as I have a txt from him confirming dates. Also worth pointing out that my number was blocked instead of doing the decent things and informing me he could no longer move me instead he acted like a coward and avoided he difficult phone call to a customer he had let down. Avoid avoid avoid.

Can’t rate this company high enough. Best price around, including boxes and tape, helping pack, dismantling and putting furniture back together at our new home. There were five lads in total and they never stopped from the moment they started to when they finished. They were all very polite, professional and handled our goods with care. A real gem of a company, wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

John and team were amazing, from the day he had one of his lads deliver boxes and paper, I knew I was in safe hands. On the day he arrived as promised at 8am and had my 6 bedroom house loaded by 11:30, then when we, as is generally the case we're delayed by the completions process, he was calm and reassuring, and sure enough we were unloaded and In
by 6pm. Btw the lads he employed, never stopped grafting and where extremely polite and respectful.

John’s communication was brilliant and reassuring. John provided a quote and confirmed everything over zoom so he knew what lorry was needed.

The team arrived on time and were polite, professional, helpful, happy, got on and worked. They packed up quickly and dismantled furniture. They patiently waited while our completion was going through and they were ready and waiting upon our arrival at our new home. The price was the price and there were no hidden charges. Highly recommend their services. And they turned all this around at short notice. Made the day less stressful.

This company was recommended to us by our daughter/step daughter and son-law who used them 3 years ago to move from Leigh-on-sea to Rayleigh. We have now used them to move from Brentwood to Rayleigh and they are still maintaining their excellent level of service! We moved 2 weeks ago now and our Team was Stuart, Gary and Brooklyn. They were all absolutely brilliant. As many of the previous reviews confirm ..... nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept smiling throughout, for what turned out to be a very long day for us all. We too had plenty of boxes and packing materials delivered well in advance and it wasn't any problem requesting more. We have just had a skip delivered by this company to our new address which Stuart delivered and again no problem to move the position of it on our drive, In summary a truly outstanding company and all team members are a credit to themselves and John and the company. Exceptional!

Couldn't have asked for a better removal company to move us on such a stressful day! They were tidy, careful and treated our belongings with care. From the start John was very understanding as our move date kept being pushed back and back and as he promised, they were there for us on the day ready to move us. John has a great team working for him.

Top notch removals! House moves are stressful enough so I welcomed the straightforward quote from John (without countless add-on options). The team turned up on time and ready to get stuck in. They worked tirelessly all day and kept good spirits up despite some tricky manoeuvres on staircases with awkward furniture. We ended up moving with minimum fuss and we’re very thankful for the hard work the guys put in on the day. Would absolutely recommend ...and actually already have! We required a long distance removals at late notice and John at JCB Movers didn't hesitate to help us. They provided a straight-forward and efficient service at a competitive price, and were happy to go above and beyond. On the day of the move, the 3 guys were extremely polite and loaded/unloaded as to our specifications.

When I first contacted JCBmovers the were extremely helpful and dealt with my concerns about visiting me to provide a quote as the Coronavirus Lockdown restrictions were just being eased.
A few days later, as arranged, I received a visit. This involved a methodical check of all rooms, outbuildings, etc to establish what items were to be moved to the new address. Everything was noted, which then including a couple of things that I had overlooked. The offer of packing boxes & cardboard wardrobes was particularly welcomed.
Two days later I received a quote by email, that was very acceptable, together with confirmation that my preferred moving date was acceptable. The packing boxes arrived a few days later, giving me plenty of time to do whatever I needed with filling them.
On moving day the removal team arrived nice and early. Every item to be moved had been planned by them on a room by room basis. There was no fuss, nothing was a problem for these guys and they were finished in less than 2 hours.
Fortune was on my side on this day. All of the paperwork, transfers, etc were completed whilst JCB was already on their way to my new address.
I followed them, collecting the keys to my new home along the way, and met up only 15 minutes behind them.
The moving in went so smoothly, the JCB boys know their stuff, and I was a very happy customer.
As soon as the agreed payment was settled they were on their way and it was only mid-afternoon.
Now I am a very satisfied customer and shall be happily recommending JCBmovers myself to anyone that I hear is moving home. They won't be disappointed.

The Quote provided was extremely competitive and the overall service offering true value for money. The team were very helpful and hard working. From contacting John for a quote, we were very impressed with the competitive price. Once confirmed they delivered plenty of boxes & packing materials promptly.
We could only give John 4 days notice of our move but that wasn’t a problem.
On the moving day we had Dan,Pete & Stuart who worked quickly, carefully & were polite & respectful, oh & very strong!
We moved from Upminster to Bexhill-on-Sea & I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Stuart from JCB together with 4 strong guys moved us from Theydon Bois to Borehamwood without any hassle from start to finish in 4 hours! Helpful, friendly and very efficient. 100% service and would definitely recommend using them.
