The JD Sports online platform proved to be highly disappointing and should be avoided. It lacks basic features and security, essential for e-commerce transactions. My order was processed without me confirming the order / payment(used Paypal Express payment option) and was erroneously sent to the wrong address. Despite reporting the issue promptly through WhatsApp within 15 minutes, I received no response. Subsequent attempts to rectify the situation through customer service proved futile, with the only response being that they were unable to assist and directed me to contact Australia Post. However, Australia Post indicated they couldn't modify the delivery since the sender did not enter certain required information, and only the sender can change the address. Despite further attempts to resolve the issue with JD Sports, they refused to take any action. Eventually, With great difficulty, I managed to retrieve the parcel from the incorrect address and personally returned it to a JD Sports store, a process that proved to be quite burdensome.
Returned a pair of adidas pants that were too big in size
Apparently my refund has been denied to item smelling of cigarettes.
I DO NOT SMOKE! No reply to message stating this. Pants have been sent back.
Whomever handled the pants surely must be a smoker. I have no idea how they smell of cigarettes. 😡 I will be taking this further!
It all started ordering online Thailand jd sports, I ordered a pair of Jordan shoes but I ordered size UK 12 and I should of ordered US 12 so UK 12 is US 13 so it’s too big for me so I filled out the return form and sent them to their warehouse in Bangkok to exchange the right size , apparently no returns and no exchanging this went on for 4 days and totally refused to do anything, they were still brand new in the box , email after email and email, so I told them to send them back and I will pay the charges, they told me they would ship them back so after a week no email on anything about my shoes no tracking number and now they won’t even reply after 4 email they have totally ignored me because I’m sure they’ve lost them and have no idea what happened to them, no reply, no shoes and I’m out hundreds of dollars . Unbelievable they totally ignored me now, what a terrible experience request number 6286720

Been there today and wow, was absolutely gobsmacking to see their total lack of customer service. Literally a bunch of staff that really don’t want to work, avoid helping you (or selling) and even staring at you on a bad way, like “don’t talk to me”. I have never seen anything like this in my life, seriously! By reading the other reviews I could confirm that too - a lot of bad experiences and everyone saying pretty much the same thing.
Whoever is reading this, please AVOID this store at all costs, seriously! We were big customers of JD and to be honest, you just lost us today.
By how they handle the reviews and things in-store, they will not care anyway, but I will try my best to make more people realise this.
Really lack basic customer service skill and that is probably impacting their sales as everything is always “on sale”. Hilarious.
To the management of this store: you definitely should be more present in-store and checking on all these bad reviews. I will check on how to escalate this further with someone that cares from JD as today as really unacceptable.
Tried to complain and no one cared, staff laught at me. Seriously? Losing sales and yet thinking that are superior than anyone? Hmm, should reconsider your approach/behaviour.
Ordered online two pairs of shorts $70 Dollars each.
Received one pair and size 7 addidas pair of trainers .
They want me to send back the shoes but can't send me my missing shorts .
Can't refund my shorts either.
There "system doesn't allow for partial refunds or reorders " .
They offered me a 10% discount off my next order.
Why would I order again when you taken $70 off me ?
Horrible experience, I'm out of pocket $70 and missing a pair of shorts.
Customer service just repeats " system can't do partial refunds or reorders".

Item was listed and photographed as White online, arrived and product and label was clearly Grey. Returned for a refund and noted it was an incorrect item and was mentioned that errors on their behalf would have shipping reimbursed. A refund was made on the item, but JD says they can't pay postage because that's with AusPost even though their system organised it. Will never buy from again.

We ordered size 7 womens shoes online on sale and they sent a size 7 men's. They refused to do a swap and wanted us to pay full price for the womens shoes and wouldn't honour the sale price.

What a waste of time. Literally no stock of our size in every single shoe we tried. Could not tell us what they had in given size, by the time we found one in that size, after scanning countless shoes, it was the wrong size so then decided to measure foot properly and start the process again.
How can a brick and mortar store that relies on people walking in and buying off the shelf have no stock of anything?
Will not waste time with JD again.

Lebbib at Karrinyup JD store was super helpful at such a busy time today. He waited with us, double checked, was polite and helpful. We couldn't get what we wanted and he helped us to place an online order.

Extremely disappointing waiting almost two months and without proper explanation they emailed us yesterday that they will refund the money for puma sport shoe.
They said Aus post has issue I don’t believe that.

EMPLOYEE theft. I selected shoes marked price $220 (sale price) and the store manager charged my purchase at $250. That's a 15 per cent increase. Did it purposefully- so the ethos of the store is to bait and switch on unsuspecting customers. It works when the customer is a minor or on an elderly person. Yes it's the MANAGER committing the fraud and the theft. My ticket number is 5635856. So watch out at the JD store they steal from customers.

Bought some converse sneakers from the Rundle mall store in Adelaide and noticed that they had scuff marks on the shoes as they were being used for display so I tried returning them a few days later. Instead I was told by the manger; Matt, that the scuff marks were my fault and the shoes were no longer resalable so I could not get a refund, I hadn’t even wore them once and it wasn’t even a week after i bought them and he thinks I got deep scuff marks in the shoes which happened to be used as the sale display shoes. Not to mention he was extremely condescending and rude, never buying from the store again.

Accidentally purchased the same item twice in a minute due to a loading screen error in the check out. Instantly sent an email requesting to cancel one and they refused, saying it was already packed to be shipped and that they will not be able to locate that package without disrupting the automated workflow, keeping in mind this was one minute after my order. Furthermore they stated I will have to pay for shipping to return it. Customer service team was incredibly unhelpful. As this was a technical error caused by their website and the law stating that Australians have a right to refund on the same day of purchase, I will be raising this concern with the ACCC

I bought a Nike jumper for my son from JD Sports Liverpool, but later discovered it had a hole in it (possibly from the security tag removed in an incorrect way but I’m not sure)
My young son was in tears and I assured him that since we didn’t cause the problem, the store will be more than happy to exchange, so I took him to the store and that’s when all the drama began.
I was served by a young girl who lacked any customer service skills, as I explained the problem with a big smile on my face and my son next to me she started interrupting me saying there’s nothing she can do since for all she knows I could've damaged the item - she said I have to speak to their headquarters and they will investigate whether I’m entitled to an exchange or not (I had the receipt, the item, the tags albeit not attached to the jumper, and the original method of payment). I try several times to explain the Australian consumer law to her but she brushes it off, after 15 minutes of being humiliation i lose my temper and leave the place and call JD Sports headquarters, the lady over the phone is sympathetic and asks me to ask the crew to get the store manager - 10 minutes later she emerges (no doubt they were filling her on their side of the story) she takes the phone and abruptly informs head office that she will not exchange or refund ..
I try one last time to calmly explain the issue to her and show her the jumper in the hole and also explain her team’s attitude towards me, she offers no apology and asks me to email head office with pictures of the problem and they will decide.
I follow their process and take pictures of everything and email it back and then I get a response from head office that the store manager doesn’t want to exchange the item and as communicated previously I am banned from “her” store .. head office then suggests that I “try my luck” at another branch but it’s up to that branches manager to accept or refuse. The following day I'm notified that the store manager reaches out to the nearby stores recommending that they don't honour my request for a refund or exchange - I have been advised by customer service that their hands are tied so I've now filed a case against them with Fair Trading and will continue to escalate the matter further exposing this company's lack of basic customer service and disregard for the law.
Ordered a size 7 and received a size 5. Returned this in store and was refunded the price of the shoe and not shipping (why do I pay for their mistake?). Ordered the same shoes again in store and was told i was definitely going to receive a size 7, and received a size 5 AGAIN today :/
EDIT: the error is that the listing for unisex Converse All Star Chuck 70s on your site in the men's section has "Please note: style is in men's sizes" written in the description, but pick packers are packing women's sizes. Product code: 16470791_jdsportsau

I purchased a jersey from JD Sports online hoping to receive it before Christmas as a gift.
After receiving a text message saying it is arriving the day of I was super excited. It wasn't until I opened it and it was a completely different order! Someone else's shoes!! After looking at the package it had the original owners details on it but the warehouse has stuck my sticker with my details on top of it which you think would have been picked up on.
I then, contacted customer service and was told that they can't locate my ordered item and that it had been lost! In addition, before making an attempt to rectify their mistake they requested me to send the wrong item back to them otherwise they wouldn't send through a refund! I then asked to speak to the manager which after much persuasion said she would process the refund Immediately.
Its been 8 days and I have not received any refund. There goes my Christmas gift!!
Absolutely hopeless and I won't be buying from them again!

Bought the 27C women's air sneakers. Neither online image nor product detail indicated they are in fact slip-ons rather than true sneakers with free tongue. This is probably ok for most people but any one with a high instep would not be able to wear them. The walking experience is reasonably comfortable but I am not a fan of the slip on type.

My 15 year old son and I went into the store with his birthday money because he wanted to buy some Jordan's.
Asked for a size 10.
Staff took it to the counter, waited, paid, left the store.
He wore them to school the next day.
When he got home he said mum they are really uncomfortable and feel really big, but my others fit fine.
We checked the size and we were given a 10.5.
First ever BIG purchase my son made, spent his birthday money and now he can't wear the shoes probably got another 6 months.
JDs response was he should have checked the size before putting them on at home.
I'm sorry, but JD JOONDALUP should have given us the size we asked for, the staff should have double checked that before taking my sons money. Who ever stops and takes them out of the box to double check they have been given the size they asked for before leaving the store!! What 15 year old would stop in his excitement to put them on and wear them to school, to check the size he asked for was the size he was given.
My son is devastated, I am furious we didnt want money back we just wanted the size he asked for. I understand they were worn once but it is not his fault incompetent staff gave him a different size to what he asked for.
Lesson learnt, he will not be returning, I will not be returning and in future I will be checking shoe sizes before leaving the store in any shoe store.
