The only good thing about this place is PT Gaz. It’s the only reason o go.

I use jd gyms south i travel all over…
I use jd gyms south leeds i travel all over the country and have probably been to them all jd gyms south leeds is the worst one not for cleanliness or staff staff are 10 out of 10 but for the equipment it is the worst most of it is an accident waiting to happen ive trained in gyms in 90s and equipment was better the latt pull down as been broken for 6 weeks thers only 2 evey other gym as 4 to 6 the other day i was using the leg press it was that stiff i had to go get some wd40 out of my van which sorted it .it as 16 pt s and is probably the fullist jd gym ive been to ive heard that they are not changing any thing because its full and makes money so they are just treating evrey one who traines there as idiots so anyway kirkstall jd gyms as just had money spent on it half a million its excellent it was the worst but now ive ranked it the best along with wigan and york so all i can say if management of jd gyms reads this sort it out at south leeds you have loyal customers treat them to what they deserve

The gym it self is very spacious and tidy and clean but the changing rooms and the toilets and showers and sauna have a really bad smell of sewage and is very sickening to smell

Poor customer service
Poor customer service, have been emailing then for 2 weeks now about my account email being invalid and not getting a confirmation email, no response, no one picks up on the phone either.

There are numerous reviews on here about the disabled parking, yet nothing seems to have changed. The disabled bays are almost always full of taxis or vehicles with no Blue Badge, making them unavailable for the people who actually need them. It's disappointing that this has been raised by so many people but still hasn't been properly addressed.

Do not enforce the rules for disabled…
Do not enforce the rules for disabled parking non badge holders taking all spaces . Staff have no name badges so you don't know who you are talking to and who's name to give incase of complaint. Air-conditioning inadequate also i have problems gaining entry frequently with barcode system South Leeds gym

Needs improvements
I like the lighting and the open space, it's big. But some machines are old and just a few of them. Usually it is necessary to wait until someone leaves a machine. Often, there is no monitors accessible, for example today I drop some water on the floor but I couldn't find anyone to tell it about. There were some personal trainers but working with clients.

Overall a great gym
Overall a great gym. Odd few machines need a bit of tlc but overall really good. Nice and clean same goes for locker room showers etc.

Greta gym.. need c2 bikes please
The gyms are excellent clean tidy well thought out with great array of equipment
The only thing missing I believe are concept 2 bikes to got with the ski an rowers this would improve the biking equipment greatly

JD Liverpool South
JD Liverpool South is an amazing gym with very reasonable membership fees. You will find a variety of machines, equipment, and wonderful, energetic classes. A sauna is available, along with clean showers and changing rooms. It is open 24/7, with very professional trainers and coaches. Highly recommended.
