Rude Employees
Employees were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When i asked a simple question I was met with a weird glance, and when he asked a co worker they stared at me like I was dumb for asking a question anout SHOES when it is a SHOE store. You lost a customer today and i will be telling all of my friends and relatives NOT to shop at the woodgrove JD sports location.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with JD Sports Canada.
I placed an order (JD1189117) that I never received, despite being marked as delivered. I immediately contacted customer service and fully cooperated with their requests, including providing photos of my front door and confirming that the delivery photo provided by FedEx did not show my residence.
Since early January, I have sent multiple follow-up emails asking for updates. Each time, I received generic responses saying an “internal investigation” was ongoing or that a FedEx claim had been filed, with no real progress or resolution. Weeks passed with no clear outcome, no refund, and no replacement, just repeated delays and scripted replies.
What makes this worse is the lack of accountability and communication. I was patient, responsive, and cooperative throughout the process, yet I was left without my order or a proper solution. For a large retailer, this level of customer service is unacceptable.
I would strongly caution others when ordering online from JD Sports, especially if delivery issues arise. Based on my experience, resolving problems can be extremely slow and frustrating.

I ordered and paid for two football jerseys that were supposed to be Christmas gifts. The order and tracking clearly showed one package containing both jerseys, yet when it arrived, only one jersey was inside.
Customer service was extremely slow to respond, and after a long wait I was told that FedEx had denied their claim and that nothing could be done. This is unacceptable. This was never FedEx’s fault, but a clear packing mistake by the seller.
Despite paying in full, I did not receive what I purchased, and the company refused to refund or replace the missing item. Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted the blame and left me with no solution.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from this company.

A Big fraud company
A Big fraud company. They have partnered with Fedex shopping their delivering partner so that they fraud and cheat new customers like me and keep their products by not delivering them and not reimbursing the money.
I am writing to formally complain about my recent online purchase, which was not delivered as promised. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter, I have still not received my order or a proper reimbursement. As a customer service representative, you have failed to provide adequate support, and this experience has left me extremely disappointed. Your online platform appears misleading, and I feel misled as a customer in Canada.
I work hard for every dollar I earn, and I will not allow my money to be taken unfairly. It is unacceptable for a business to retain payment without delivering the purchased product. This practice is unethical and potentially illegal.
I demand an immediate full refund for the undelivered order.

I placed an order during a sale that had an item unexpectedly cancelled.
I emailed JD because the item that was cancelled was the whole reason I placed an order and I only added the other items to hit the free shipping minimum. They were able to send me a custom cart to re-buy with a large discount and free shipping.

I purchased a pair of shoes for my daughter for Christmas. They went on sale so I emailed them and they gave me a price adjustment. When I later tried to return them, I was told they couldn't be returned because of this. Not because they were worn, discontinued, or past the return date policy.
This was my first and last purchase from this store.
Christmas present not refunded
I ordered shoes for my son for christmas and santa brought the wrong ones. I requested a refund and sent them back. My son tried them on no longer then 5 mins to make sure at least the size fit him.
They refused the refund because of damage. We did not damage them they had no wear on the bottom of them and came like they had also been tried on before.
I have worked in shoe retail for years and never would I have not accepted these as a refund. There was no solutions not even a credit offered. Very disappointed in the service.
Disappointing Exchange Experience with First-Purchase Discount
I purchased a pair of Samba kids’ shoes for my daughter’s birthday from JD Sports online on November 10,2025 and signed up for the $10 first-purchase discount, which was successfully applied. Unfortunately, the size I ordered was slightly small, so I visited at Metrotown JD Sports store to exchange the same shoe for one size up.
I expected a straightforward size exchange at the same price I originally paid, as I was not purchasing a different item. However, the store associate refused to honor the original price, stating that the discount applied only to a first purchase. I explained that this was not a new purchase, only a size exchange of the same product, but my request was still declined.
Honestly, this was a very disappointing experience. I have never encountered this issue with other retail companies when exchanging the same item for a different size. Due to this experience, this will be my first and last purchase from JD Sports.
This company is a joke.
I tried to buy 3 pairs of shoes, my payment went through on the 25th, and after taking the payment, they cancelled my order on the 26th claiming it was fraud. The only explanation they gave was that their system flagged it. Customer service replied once and then completely ignored me, refunding the payment without any confirmation or proper communication. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is not just me—many customers are facing the same issue, which shows how poor their system is and how useless their customer service really is. Total waste of time. Do not buy from here.
Not as advertised
Website was advertising additional 50% on “Last chance” items but was not given. Call to the customer service said the offer ended however it was still being advertised on the website.

I had a very disappointing experience with JD Sports Canada. I placed an online order for a pair of Jordan shoes on sale, but a few days later my order was canceled. The reason given was that my bank account was “flagged by the system,” even though the payment was successfully deducted on the day I placed the order. They then asked me to reorder the shoes but by that time, the sale had ended.
If you don’t intend to honor sale prices, don’t advertise them. This feels misleading and like a scam to customers. Very frustrating experience.
Mistakes
Most online orders are fulfilled properly and promptly. Recently mistakes have ranged from anti theft devices attached to products, wrong sized sneakers (two different sizes) , and damaged clothing .
JD sports is false advertising
JD sports is false advertising! Posted UGGs 85% off and then not even 1 shopping day left cancelled multiple online orders stating there is not inventory. Year I have screen shot showing what sizes they had and while placing second order the system said could not be fulfilled because they… they are hiding a failure.

This business is unapologetically unreliable. Ordered a specific pair of shoes as a gift for my daughter and added in some socks to compliment the shoes. Shipping was expensive, but paid it anyways to get the item on my daughter’s wish list. A week later received an email that JD Sports would not be filling the shoes on the order, however they charged me for the socks and the full cost of shipping. So here I am less than 2 weeks until Christmas, now unable to get the shoes due to demand and with $50 socks (including the shipping fees). I wrote direct to JD Sports support email and no response or acknowledgment. Never again with this business.
Sent me used shoes
I ordered a nike airforce that was only sold online ( as they told me when I went to buy it in store) when it arrived it was creased and dirty on the bottom. They havent returned any of my emails, I've never experienced this with any online order before.
