Great company to do business with - good website, great Customer Service, easy and friendly to communicate with. Highly recommended

Dishonest company with poor-quality jewelry. Highly recommend avoiding them unless you want to risk receiving junk that you'll be stuck with because the company will adamantly refuse to issue a refund.

It is important to note that it is ILLEGAL in the UK to not issue a full refund for a defective product:
"You must offer a full refund if an item is faulty, not as described or does not do what it’s supposed to."

As an anniversary gift from my partner, I received a pair of Jian earrings and discovered one of the posts was bent and both of the posts had warped metal (as opposed to being smooth with a consistent thickness throughout; possibly a manufacturing issue).

My partner contacted Jian immediately the next day after I received them the previous night. There was no way to see the defect before cutting off the tag that was covering the post, yet customer service insisted the jewelry was "used" and refused to issue a refund, even with ample photo evidence of the defects and having contacted customer service ASAP.

They would only offer store credit even after escalating to a manager. We discovered only after being issued the store credit that it expires within 6 months of issue. This was never mentioned at any point prior to processing the return.

They also did not issue a prepaid return label until specifically asked, even when the return request had already been approved. They were likely trying to avoid it unless directly prompted, hoping we would pay for our own return shipping on a defective product.

Also, in the time that this back and forth took place, their website prices have increased. Quite unfortunate that this has coincided with the decline of product quality, if previous positive reviews are to be believed. It's worth noting that there are numerous negative reviews regarding stud earrings specifically, though that is not their only poor-quality product.

We are still pursuing a refund and will report Jian to the government if necessary. This is such a headache that could have been avoided if the company would just follow basic laws instead of prioritizing earnings above all else.

UPDATE: We already submitted a clear photo of the bent earring post, we both observed the bend on that side compared to the other earring, and it was clearly more difficult to remove the backing from that side as the result of the bend while inspecting the earrings. However, customer service has just replied, claiming that upon receiving the earrings back they didn't find any faults, and conveniently sent us a photo of the earring from an angle that doesn't show the bend. We are floored that a company could be so unprofessional and dishonest.

UDPATE 2: I received an email from Trustpilot stating that Jian has flagged this review for containing defamatory / harmful / illegal content. This has conveniently led Trustpilot to temporarily hide the review while reviewing the content.

UPDATE 3: Trustpilot quickly replied, "Good news — we’ve assessed the content flagged by the business, and determined that it’s not defamatory. Therefore, we’ve put your review back online."

So just to recap:
- Jian has bullied us into accepting an unwanted store credit even though we're legally owed a refund
- They did not reply publicly on Trustpilot to defend themselves but instead privately claimed that there was nothing wrong with the earrings, which doesn't refute our clear photo evidence to the contrary
- Instead of acting with professionalism in the face of negative feedback, they reported my review for defamation in an attempt to censor it.

Very prompt delivery of a lovely bracelet. Matches description on website. Very pleased with the quality of the jewellery.

My Husband purchased a beautiful bracelet for my 60th Birthday and our Ruby anniversary. It's absolutely gorgeous. It was too small so he contacted them and their customer service was first class. We were told we could either send back or visit them for an extension. We visited and they were very accommodating and had resolved the fitting promptly. Would definitely recommend

I bought three rings from jian london and they’re all excellent. Prices are fair and all the pieces I received were well made and high quality, delivery was quick too.

I’ll definitely order again since they seem to have a lot of great designs.

I bought a pair of stud earrings less than 3 weeks ago, they arrived beautifully wrapped and looked better than on the website, so I was well impressed and pleased with my purchase.
Less than a week later one of the closing mechanisms (the butterfly) gave out completely, seemed bent out of shape and I couldn’t fix it for the life of me so I emailed the company with a photo and a customer rep just told me to tighten the butterfly as it appears to be loose… yeah, I probably would’ve tried that before contacting you, so that was useless. I couldn’t be bothered to email back and forth due to work and life commitments so I just bought new silver butterflies from Ebay at my own cost.
Another week later I noticed that one of the small diamonds in the halo has fallen out, which is an absolute shame as I can’t wear them anymore.
Honestly, I bought studs in Claire’s that lasted years, I believed Jian was a reputable jeweller but I seem to have been misled. Buyer beware.

It said on the website it would be delivered the next day 3 days later I had heard nothing I tried to track and it said it was at a depot 24 hrs later it was still there and still not received my item and starting to be worried

I ordered a bracelet at the end of last year. It’s beautiful but I lost 1 stone last week.
I contacted Jian London and someone got back to me on the same day. I sent the bracelet, it was fixed and sent back in a few days.

Husband purchased the Eternity 2ct Ruby Moissanite Halo Platinum plated Silver Stud Earrings for my birthday. They look great and are just the right size. Hard to know if they are worth the 50% more than the non moissanite ones but hopefully yes. I just was disappointed with the box which is more of a display box. I like to place earrings in case in a velvet ring style interior with backs secure rather than faffing about with having to secure them on a flimsy type piece of card. Maybe offer a choice of case interior types please. Other than that very happy.
