On 9/16/2024 I went to Jiffy Lube 911…

On 9/16/2024 I went to Jiffy Lube 911 Greenville Ave. Staunton VA. To get my yearly car State Inspection done.
When the inspector was doing his inspection, he stated that one of my bulbs on my rear license plate was not working.
I simply replied to please fix it, I prepared to pay him any extra needed for the repair. A few minutes later he said he could not get the bulb, so he rejected my car.
I was not happy about this rejection sticker being on my car for a bulb on my rear tag. I filed a complaint with the State Police and was contacted by an officer. The officer stated that they must remove the sticker from the car when inspected. Fine, I’m satisfied with his answer.
My question to you is, How can 1 bulb on the rear tag of my vehicle be a safety issue?? I could understand it if it was a brake light, front headlamp etc. that does hamper the ability to operate my vehicle in a safe manner.
The District manager called from Jiffy Lube on this issue, and I was told that they would order the bulb. I planned for my next day off to have them fix the issue and get a valid sticker on my car.
On 9/23/2024 I was there in the AM and het fixed the lamp and gave me my sticker.
They charged me $87.46 dollars! You can subtract the $1.00 reinspection fee. REALLY??
I asked why so much and was told I had to replace the light assembly there was no bulb.
When I left Jiffy Lube I went straight to ORielly Auto parts and bought the REPLACE BULBS for a total of $8.41!
This inspector is representing the State Police!
Does not this Inspector have to have some knowledge of car repairs??
I believe this is a total scam!

Jiffy Lube Fredrick Rd, Catonsville MD bad business

I purchased two Groupons for an oil change at the:

608 Frederick Road, Catonsville, MD, 21228
Location. When I went for the first oil change I told them not to rotate the tires. OIL CHANGE ONLY. Very shortly after I leave my tire pressure light came on. I got a nail in my tire and had to get it plugged. A 1 1/2 months later I go back and THE SAME THING HAPPENS!!! I can't believe it. I call them and they tell me to come back and they will check it out. All they did was re-set the pressure sensor. Before I got home the light was back on. What a waste of time! When I called back up there the manager got defensive. I'm done! I will never give them my business again.

Not only oil changes!

I went to the Jiffy Lube store in Golden Valley off of Louisiana Ave to get my headlight bulbs changed. Nina T. and Dave R. helped me. They made the process so easy and fast even though the bays were full. They reminded me to change the air filter and even told me about a coupon. The replaced parts were shown to me. The new air filter was dated. The cost was very reasonable & there was a 30-day guarantee. I’m highly recommending this business for their honesty, customer service, efficiency, and economical prices.

Scammed by jiffy lube employees

I was lied to about a price of service so they could gain another sale. Instead of being honest about the price, he decided to lie and say it would be cheaper. So I would agree to the service. I would’ve never agreed if I knew that specific service was that amount. I come to jiffy because I trust that I would receive an honest service. Instead of treating me the customer with basic human decency, instead I got scammed. If I was a man this would’ve been a different story but as I am woman they prayed on the fact that I have no knowledge of cars. These type of employees that provide our community with dishonest service should absolutely be shut down. We the customers keep this business open by coming for service. At the end of the day what’s right Is right and what’s wrong is wrong. That man knew what he was doing to gain a sale and it’s completely unacceptable!

Jiffy Lube destroyed my car!

If there was a zero option that would be my true rating. This review is for the Jiffy Lube on 444 E. Sunrise Blvd.
On 8/23/24 I took my car for a routine oil change. I have visited this location prior because it was the closest. My 2015 Jeep Wrangler has never been involved in any accidents or any issue of major proportions. A tire change, an air filter, just basic upkeep. I go in for a simple oil change they do their normal talk and upsell on anything they can. From there, everything went as usual they did my oil change. They checked the pressure on my tires. They topped up my fluids and I was on my way once I left the location and on the highway I hear a small rattling in my engine area. It was very slight and I really didn’t pay much attention to the car all of a sudden in the middle of a busy I 95 highway decided to completely die on me with enough power. I was able to just get to a safe spot in the express lane. Luckily, our local road rangers saw my car in distress and managed to block all the traffic on I 95 to move me safely over to a side shoulder. From there, I called my insurance company who then sent a tow truck to pick me up to take my car back to Jiffy Lube to find out what had gone wrong. Once at Jiffy Lube, they inspected my car for nearly 5 hours they looking and looking to see what caused it. Finally, after I had failed a formal complaint at their corporate phone number, the manager or someone of supervisor power calls me to inform me that indeed it was their fault that the car had been rendered useless and explained in some quick reason what it was, but I’m not a mechanic so I really don’t understand what he meant but basically they screwed my entire car up and that they would get one of three different chop shops that they use to have a look at my car to find out what happened and what the next steps are. I get a call from Eric so-called supervisor, and he tells me that the entire engine has to be replaced and what he has offered me is to get a engine a used engine that already has 52,000 miles and that if I authorize the repair they would send it to this chop shop they go to and that they would replace my engine and give me a one year warranty only on that used engine. After speaking to numerous people and to my original Jeep dealership where I bought my jeep, I decided to say no to the offer of having a used engine put in my car then rudely said I had one of either two options replace the engine or they would cut me a check for $7000 which I would come in and sign for and then they be done with me , I went to my jeep dealer today and spoke with the mechanic there and the gentleman who sold my car and of course their reaction was one of shock. I called Eric and I had him on speakerphone so that the Jeep staff could hear exactly what it is they were trying to pull on me . They agreed that it was a total sham and a disgrace what they were trying to do to me by giving me a used motor with only a one year warranty, not only knowing what condition that motor was in and how it got out of the first car in the first place. For all I know that engine could be refurbished and I’m getting a crappy thing that’s going to eventually fall apart within a year. I told the Jiffy Lube supervisor Eric, but I would not be taking any of the offers not be used motor and I would not be coming over to sign the check for the $7000 which they were pushing me to do because they don’t want to be responsible for liability. I asked him that the only thing that I wanted was to have my car towed to the dealership, which is 20 minutes away he plainly told me no that he would not do anything. He had already given me the two options that were on the table and that if I didn’t take any of those two, I was on my own Luckily, my insurance company will be towing the car to jeep to get it inspected to find out what actual damage they did to it and to do a repair. This is a car that is a dream for me when I purchased it in 2015. I worked my fingers to the bone to buy it and I have one payment left on it, and it would be completely mine and now my car has been completely destroyed by these bunch of clowns , I have never in 1 million years ever thought that going to a place like Jiffy Lube would destroy my car, but this is a cautionary tail for other people that go to Jiffy Lube. There’s something as simple as an oil change can kill your car because they have unskilled mechanics doing the work and then on top of that whatever responsibility they do have is very little and they’re not gonna do anything for you and it’s an absolute disgrace at a national company like Jiffy Lube doesn’t even have a customer service number in the United States. It’s a call center outside the United States with people that barely even speak English. I asked for a district manager they won’t release the information of a district manager. Do not use Jiffy Lube under any circumstances find someone else to do the work for you or you may end up like me.

They have me waiting in long wait times just to get denied for an inspection for my vehicle for Lyft. Jiffy Lube can't be trusted

My car takes synthentic oil. When I left the car sounded weird and thought I was hearing a flapping noise like a flat tire. No lights on dashboard. No flat tire, however, I think JiffyLube charged me for synthetic oil and put in conventional oil. They also wanted to rotate the tires. I said 'no'. I looked carefully on outside of tires. Nothing. But I am not convinced these people haven't done something to my car. Watch out for these scammers - they earn commission for getting consumers to pay for unneeded extras.

Man, or especially a female who takes their car to this Jiffy Lube...

Have taken my car to this business for I'd say 5 years. Oil changes or just courtesy checks. Each time I've come ,even though Managers change and for some reason the techs don't stay long..with each new crew, everyone, down to the manager has been very polite, professional, helpful, thorough, and took the time with me to recommend different solutions for future care, rarely ever tried to upsell me...when I came in recently on 7-9-24 3:40pm, to my local in Hobart Indiana, a new tech assistant Favin, went right to work , checking the tires pressure, filling them up with equal air..checked at my request, that no one had placed a GPS under the car.
They work on free checks just as efficiently as paid services. The manager Eddie, kept me company, while the guys work giving me a wealth of information about a mechanical issue I'd inquired about.
All I can say is they deserve mad business and props!

I have been going to this location for years now. The faces change but I always get good service. They do try to upsell but I kindly decline until it is needed. They were very accommodating this round and installed some filters we had brought for the car. Thank you Hans(bolah) for all your help.

Diesel was leaking substantial amount contacted the store2472. informed them of the leak. 2472 advised us to return. different service tech Dale serviced us.
Dale was very vocal in stating previous tech
TENNANT A. installed fuel filter incorrectly no due diligence was performed. Manger JARRELL S. confirmed this had happened that there was damage, tech Dale stated, if it should leak any more come back and they will fix necessary to remedy the problem cause of no due diligence. The leak did not stop. went back, original tech TENNANT A. who installed the fuel filter incorrectly said that our fuel rail line was broken and that they could not have done it which in reality they had they broke it JARRELL S. confirmed they broke it. service manager JARRELL S. stated to take my vehicle to a Infantry auto repair center who partners with 2472 to assist in any wrongful due diligence problems that 2472 could not remedy . Jiffy Lube 2472 manger JARRELL S. confirmed Erik owner makes payment to Infantry Auto to remedy the problem. Infantry Auto invoiced $1300. criminals

charged me for 2 consecutive times a license plate light. Finally noticed it wasn't working. Went back the next day after they replaced it again. When they were done it magically worked. I don't think they ever put the bulb in to begin with. Cost me $17 twice.

Pleasantly surprised.

I went to Jiffy Lube in Amelia Ohio to get an oil change. They were fast and friendly and said that they also sold tires. I was actually shopping for tires so I asked them for a price. I was pleasantly surprised when there price for the tires I had gotten a quote on was lower than the price Sam's had given me. If you need an oil change or tire's you should give these guys a try.

I went to Jiffy Lube in round rock and university this morning and I took my business elsewhere because i heard the manager saying negative things about another employee about his mental health like bipolar. I have a child who suffers from that and that’s disrespectful. No one wants their personal information shouted out for everyone to hear that.

Don't go to Jiffy lube owned By Steve and Jennifer Sanners!!

The service was fast and quick. The workers were polite and courteous..However I paid $250 to get my air conditioning serviced and 1 day later it's blowing hot air.. I took my car back to them and the man brings out a paper and says " I'm sorry that I didn't give you this the first day when you paid"..The paper basically said that if the air didn't work that I would have to pay more money to get more work done.. I WAS LIKE WHAT??,, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT THIS? HE SAID "I'm sorry". He said we will work on it some more". I waited over an hour for them to work on it. He said" it's fixed". I went home The next day I went to work early in the morning so I didn't need air conditioning..I didn't turn it on. By the time I got off work it was hot! I turned it on and 10 minutes later my car started spewing gray smoke from under the hood! I call the fire department and they came to 38th and Washington Blvd and pushed it out of the street. They told me to not drive it. I paid $183 to have it towed home. I called them and they gave me Chris Christensen phone number. He called me back and said that they would refund my money and to take it to another Jiffy Lube. I tool it to another Jiffy lube. The mechanic that tore my car up came to the second location and lied and said that he didn't do nothing wrong. I was told that they would get to the bottom of it. I rented a car and 3 days later my car is still sitting at the second Jiffy lube UNTOUCHED! I stopped by to check on my car and the manager apologized to me for not working on my car. He said that Chris Christensen called up there and told him to lift my hood and take UNAUTHORIZED photos of my engine. Chris Christensen never asked my permission to photograph my property! The manager told me that Chris Christensen said.." Where going to send it to another shop to investigate what is wrong ". That's a huge lie..How can he be investigating what's wrong when my car has been sitting UNTOUCHED for 3 days...Yet I'm still paying for a rental car!!! Warning!!!!!! Stay Away from Jiffy lube that is owned by Steve and Jennifer Sanners!!! They had incompetent people work on my vehicle!!! WARNING!!!! DONT PATRONIZE THEM!!! CHRIS CHRISTENSEN doesn’t have the customer service skills to respond to my calls! He gets other people to respond! Stay Away!!!

Crappy job

Crappy job. After getting oil change from them, they started selling me other services that I don't need. My car airconditioning was fine until I brought my car to them. Everytime they touched my car, problem of my car accumulates. So I stop taking my car to them. They hired unprofessional crew and detoriorate cars. I wont go back there anymore.
