Drove up and was promptly greeted

Drove up and was promptly greeted. I explained the vehicle and the process of questions about my unique vehicle was a breeze. Gentleman was very knowledgeable, and during the oil change everyone was really engaged, and I felt the customer service was second to none. Super excited to know there is even more than just oil they can help me with. It was my first time into a Jiffy Lube, and I can see coming there every time now.

Been in the Auto service business for…

Been in the Auto service business for 50 years at the Mfg level, Dealer level & Independent. . I've seen everything. I read these complaints occasionally for amusement. The question begs to be asked.
Why do you people go to these chains ? EVERYONE knows how awful & sub standard they are. EVERYONE knows they are there to upsell you something because it is absolutely not profitable to do JUST oil changes . The people that WILL work there are literally the lowest end of the automotive food chain & if they could not work there they would be at Walmart. Last but not least , there is nothing cheap there. It would cost less at a new car dealer or a reputable independent . STOP GOING to auto service chains they are there sell you what they need to sell not what YOU need

No customer service. Bad franchiseess suffer no penalties

In November I got my oil changed at Jiffy lube. I asked the technician if he checked the other fluids. He said "we don't do that". I left thinking I must have paid for basic service. Upon checking my receipt I see that I in fact paid 135 dollars for the most expensive "Euro synthetic" oil change. I checked my fluid levels for coolant, brake fluid, washer fluid and brake fluid. All of which should have been included as advertised for this price. Not a single one was topped up. On my receipt it even said they cleaned my windows. This was not done. The oil levels were good, but the job was done so quickly I wouldn't doubt if the oil wasn't fully changed. They likely also used the cheapest oil and not the Euro synthetic I was charged for. I tried to contact Jiffy lube customer service by phone and email. Each time via email they will me, thank you for contacting us your case has been updated. Copy and paste generic message. On the phone they have told me the franchisee will reach out. They even said the case has been escalated and the manager will reach out. Nobody has contacted me. I have emailed 10 times and called 4 times over this 3 month period and not once has anyone contacted me

Not The Sharpest Tool In The Shed

I have been going to Jiffy Lube for quite some time but when I had my van serviced on 10/24/2022 it didn't go well during the oil change. I had given the attendant a quart of Marvel Oil to be added to the fill. He nodded to do so then I went to the waiting room. About ten minutes later the manager came in and said in a raised voice that he would not put it in because it was for Diesel engines. ? He had read some fine print on the back about adding it to Diesel engines after 2007. I have used this product for most of my adult life. This guy obviously has no ability to comprehend what he reads. I told him that I would sign a paper releasing Jiffy Lube from liabilty to his claims. He calmed down and walked away. The next day I received an email from Jiffy Lube asking about my visit the previous day. I texted back about the incident along with my phone number but they never responded. They too are unprofessional!
No more business with Jiffy Lube!

Incomplete Inspection/Overcharged for 2 wiper blades

After going to the JL in Hummelstown, PA for inspection/oil change and spending $200, a week later I had to pay to inflate all 4 tires (I got a warning light indicating I had low tire pressure). The inspection sheet said all 4 were checked, however it's obvious they were not. They were supposed to be 35 pounds, but they were all less than 30 when I checked them. Also, they overcharged me for two wiper blades (not the whole wiper, just the blades) in order to pass inspection. $54 for two blades is way too expensive for a 2016 Ford Escape. I was a female and by myself so I'm sure they took advantage of that. I am never going to JL again! I'll have my oil changes/inspections done elsewhere!

Crooks

Crooks. Jiffy Lube on Main St in Las Cruces, NM. I took my van in to get an O2 sensor replaced. They replaced the wrong O2 sensor. Took my van back in, they noticed the mistake. But instead of making it right free of charge, they wanted to charge me for a SECOND O2 sensor and labor. Talked to the manager AND the district manager; they both told me to kick rocks. I filed a complaint with corporate. We’ll see what happens.

Been giving Jiffy Lube my business for 20 years. Never again.

Visited jiffy lube location on 12 and…

Visited jiffy lube location on 12 and Valencia for oil change. Got home and all the oil poured out into my driveway. Called them to inform what happ, got stranded, had to get car towed to them. They neglected to do their job right and failed to install new oil filter, and they didn't screw it on right! Could have severely blew my daughter's engine or did major damage! Never ever taking my cars there again! General manager named Xavier was unprofessional, showed no compassion nor did he ever apologize! When I demanded a refund he said to me "why should I give a refund if you have our oil and our filter in your car?"
Wow!!!!!!first off you never changed the filter and all the oil spilled out onto my driveway which stained it!!! Have pictures to prove that filter was not installed correctly! Crappy service!

Took my car in for an oil change

Took my car in for an oil change. The service representative informed me that my front brakes were so bad that the car would never pass state inspection and indicated that they could resolve the problem for me.

There is no way possible that statement could be true as I replaced the brakes myself only 2 days ago and there were less than 200 miles on the car since completing the brake install.

SCAM or incompetent employee's? Either way, never let Jiffy Lube perform additional services without first getting a second opinion...

Inexperienced, unqualified, poor quality

Jiffy Lube has been known to use cheap filters, inexperienced staff, and to take short cuts to blast out as many vehicles as possible. Combine this with low fluid levels after service is complete and rude, short fused staff, you should find another business to service your vehicles.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

My wife took her car for an oil change at Stratford CT location and they seemed confused and unorganized while they tended to her vehicle. She documented her bad experience with they customer review portal. Fast forward a week later, her car stalls, we have it towed to the dealer only to find out jiffy lube had not secured the drain plug, oil leaked out and engine was no longer any good. We filed a claim with jiffy lube corporate office and initially we were told that they apologize and they want to "make it right". They send reps to the dealer to inspect vehicle and take photos for claim. After not responding to calls and emails for a week, we were notified end of business on a Friday that they essentially accept no fault or liability and would not compensate for damage done.

THEY SMASHED MY CAR AND WILL NOT PAY…

THEY SMASHED UP MY CAR AND WILL NOT PAY FOR THE $1000+ in REPAIRS.
I brought my vehicle in for a $19 state inspection on 8/16/21. While my car was in their possession, one of their employees smashed a good portion of my front bumper against a large cement barrier. They told me they'd pay for it, but after receiving the $1052.37 estimate, they have gone MIA. The store Manager says he cannot move forward without the District Manager's approval. I have called and left countless messages for him, as well as reported to Jiffy Lube Franchisee three times. No one will return any of my calls or messages. DO NOT TRUST anything you own to this company.

I have my oil and fluids changed at Jiffy Lube and I’ve got to say Tony and Rick are the Best, if you need your oil topped off in between changed they are fast and courteous! But Beyond that they are honest and straight forward about what your problem with the car is most likely to be. They don’t attempt to over charge because you don’t know what the problem is, they just fix it! I love going here because they are also fast and let you wait in your car. I really can’t say enough about what a good experience it is every time I’m in there.

Unreliable service; The store takes NO Responsibility!

Bottomline: Do NOT jeopardize your car maintenance by getting service with Jiffy Lube! If reliability of service and risk of damage after service are not your top priority, at least DO NOT get the service done in store #01051 (2310 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608).

Longer version: I had a three day trip to Orlando and Miami, followed by the International flight of my family. We had prepared for the trip.

On Sunday morning (June 20) I took my car (2018 Toyota Sienna) to Jiffy Lube for oil change. I was initially satisfied with how quick it was done.

Then right before we left Gainesville, traveling less than 15 miles since the oil change, the engine oil light turned on. I took the car to the closest Jiffy Lube (Tower Road) which was closed. I parked the car there overnight to prevent engine problem.

Monday morning, the Jiffy Lube staff at that store checked the oil and confirmed it’s completely empty. He examined the filter and said the filter gasket has been tightened up too much and thus broken into two halves. He fixed the issue and refilled the oil.

Right after the fix, I took my car to the previous Jiffy Lube store on Archer Road and explained to the manager what happened and said I will follow up after my trip. As a result of the oil change issue, I missed my hotel reservation and was at the risk of missing the international flight, let alone the potential risk of engine break down (several thousand dollars), risk of someone breaking through my car parked overnight at the store spot, and putting my family’s safety in jeopardy.

Once I returned from the trip, I went to the Jiffy Lube store at Archer Road and talked to the manager and assistant manager, more than ten times in person and over the phone. They delayed any response saying they needed to talk to their upper managers, and refused to accept full responsibility for their mistake, by at least refunding me what they had charged for the oil change. They tried their best to refuse by putting all decision making responsibility on higher management, and then not accepting it.

Last time I went there in person to discuss it with the manager. The manager told me to stay in the lobby while he and the other person were working on the cars. From 10:10 AM to 10:40 AM, they worked on 4-5 cars without respecting my time, and refused to talk, so I left. This whole back and forth took 25 days.

To conclude that, I will NEVER EVER go to jiffy lube again to get any car maintenance. I  discourage you from doing so. What price are you willing to pay and how much risk do you take, in exchange for a little faster service? THINK TWICE!
