Satisfied customer

Initially there were some problems with the delivery which were, in my opinion, entirely the drivers fault - however the sales team were exemplary in resolving the issues to my satisfaction.
Thank you J L Brooks, I am happy with the products I purchased and absolutely love the assorted tarts all my favourites - Treacle, Cherry Bakewell, Lemon and Toffee tarts - difficult to know which to have first. Just one nice problem with the tarts - they are so large you can't eat a whole one - well I can't so me and my husband are sharing them - the toffee one is scrumptious x

Very good price & speedy delivery

Delivery was super quick. Unfortunately I ordered 3 x Pepsi max cream soda, and got 1 and 2 x strawberry & cream. As we liked both flavours and on a clearance price, it wasn’t a big I.

Loads of emails saying my order…

Loads of emails saying my order acknowledged,being packed and would be on its way.
The next day I got an email saying "Oops sorry we haven't got those products right now"
They did offer an immediate refund or I could wait for the stock to come back in.

I’m really sorry that the service you received fell very short of the standard we aim to deliver.

I’ve looked into the case and can see, as you mentioned, that the automated communications were sent out initially. Unfortunately, the office was then informed that the Pipers Jalapeño crisps were affected by a manufacturing issue, which meant stock levels unexpectedly dropped to zero while your order was still able to complete.

I truly apologise for the disappointment and confusion this caused. While we did offer an immediate refund or the option to wait for stock to return, I completely understand how frustrating this experience must have been.

JL cancelled my order after it was shipped…

After I had place the order got confirmation and then had another email saying the parcel was shipped. The order was then cancelled by JL brooks with no information on why it was cancelled

After looking into this, it appears the issue was due to a training oversight with one of our newer team members. This has now been addressed, and our procedures reinforced to prevent this happening again.

The cancellation was necessary because the Lister’s Chorizo we had in stock was very short-dated, and no fresh stock was due to arrive within a suitable time frame. However, we should have communicated this clearly to you, and we sincerely apologise for not doing so.
