Effectively finds jobs that cater to your needs with an efficient layout
The format of Joralocal made it very easy to apply for a job that catered towards my specific needs such as how many hours I wanted and most importantly; it actually suggested jobs near me. The Jora app funnelled down the available jobs to suggest a vast array of jobs that were actually close to where I lived and not on the other side of the country lol. On top of this, compared to other job searching sites, Jora allowed me to easily view whether or not my job application had been accepted by various businesses and when they were contacting possible employees. This was a specifically helpful attribute as it helped me determine how well my applications were being received instead of being left in the dark while waiting for a business to contact me. After a week or so I did get contacted by a nearby restaurant and although this process was slightly confusing because they asked me whether I applied (which obviously I did because how else would they get my application lol; so I responded yes), it was smooth sailing from there cause they asked for an interview and notified me the afternoon of the interview that I got it! So yeah having the Jora app alert me about their response was useful.
Overall, the way Jora narrowed down the job options to ones that I would actually be interested in and the designed layout was easy to understand and had more features that kept you in the loop about how your job applications were going. Would recommend to anyone job seeking, especially if you're trying to get your first ever job like I was cause Jora will definitely show you jobs who are willing/want to hire people with little experience.

Easy notifications
it was easy to get notifications and generally it was faster than all other job boards so i knew about positions before groups like linked in
