No customer service

No customer service. My husband has been going round in circles with this company. Has even spoken with Tom, left several messages with regards to replacement console, now new treadmill and we are still waiting on correspondence. We are now on the route of wanting our money back. It seems to be a company once they have your money they are not interested in faulty goods.

Excellent treadmill

Excellent treadmill, does just what I want and folds away under the bed when I need the space. Good job by the helpful, respectful delivery team. Excellent response from customer services when I reported a minor flaw which was dealt with rapidly and amicably.

Great machine, delivered quickly

Easy to order online. Delivery quick even with bank holidays in the way. The machine feels very sturdy and is really quiet to use. Only small issue was the instructions - really not that easy to figure out what the diagrams represented! But once built the machine is great, very happy with it.

Good quality but beware of size and return costs

The Cyclo-3M exercise bike is a good, mid-quality product, pretty solid, and reasonably quiet (though not actually silent in use). I afraid it's a bit small for me though. I'm 6ft 2in tall, and was hoping the bike would be good for my size, based on the stats provided by JTX. Having got the bike, I'm finding the seat adjustment is actually about 1-2 inches lower than I'd like (and lower than I have my road bike set up). It might be ok, but I'm a bit worried it might give me knee problems in the long term due to it not allowing me to straighten my legs as much as normal. This isn't JTX's fault, as the dimensions given on the website are about correct. I took a gamble it would be ok and am now just crossing my fingers that it will be.

I was also a bit disappointed with JTX's " fantastic 28 day ‘no-quibble’ returns policy". I called customer service to ask if this might be an option and was advised that they would charge me £120 for the collection/restocking costs. This seems pretty expensive, when a courier should only cost about £40 (based on an internet search).

I would also note that the adjustment for the front handlebars is very stiff. I'm hoping it'll become easier to adjust up and down in time, but that hasn't happened yet.

Genuinely poor quality- repaired by JTX- broke down- no help given

We bought a JTX Sprint-5 treadmill at the end of 2019 for around £800, alongside other home-gym equipment. While some of the other items have been okay, this treadmill has been a major let-down.

In 2022, despite very light use by just one person, it completely stopped working due to a motor failure. JTX supplied a replacement motor, but fitting it wasn’t safe to do ourselves due to the risk of electric shock, meaning we had to arrange and pay for professional installation.

We accepted this, assuming the repair would be reliable and use proper, factory-standard parts. Unfortunately, the exact same fault has happened again — the treadmill has once more completely failed with the same motor issue.

Now we’re being told to pay £300 just for diagnostics, with further costs likely, or to buy a new treadmill with a 10% discount on a £1,200 model. That is not a reasonable solution when a repaired product fails in exactly the same way.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products (and repairs) should be durable and of satisfactory quality. A treadmill that needs repeated major repairs under light use clearly isn’t.

My genuine advice: avoid spending your money here. You’re far better off choosing a brand with a longer, properly honoured warranty, where a repair actually fixes the problem instead of the same fault coming back again.

Very disappointing experience.

Noisy and Belt Slips

Pretty solid machine, but the motor very noisy, constant clunking noise, after being looked at by the engineer he concluded it was normal, now only 12 months old and approx 50 miles ran the belt is slipping and need to contact JTX again to get the engineer out, had the tread just over 12-months and still not completely satisfied with the tread, hesitated to go for a more high end tread and now regret not doing so!

I have looked into your past issues on our system and can see that you have been experiencing a thudding/clunking noise from your running belt for quite some time. The engineer concluded this as normal because the machine is delivered with the belt quite tight and you are hearing the seam of the belt running over the front and rear rollers, as the machine is used the belt will slacken off slightly and the noise will eventually disappear. I note that you have run 50 miles on your machine so far, which is a relatively small amount considering the amount of time you have had the machine, so we recommend you use the machine more frequently and the clunking will fade away.

Treadmill

Bought a treadmill from them, delivery was fast, came without any problems, but after I’m launched I’m understood that for this price I can buy more better treadmill. I paid £521.00, but it doesn’t have any display with touch screens, it doesn’t have incline function, so just a simple treadmill… bought it by chat gpt recommendation, but I think it’s overpriced with this functions….

Perfect purchase after extensive research

Easy to assembly and runs almost silently. Very happy with the product. After much research the JTX 8 was a no brainer. Only wish I would have wanted was a built in fan but this is no criticism as I knew at point of purchase it did not have one. This has replaced my Nordic Track treadmill and it matches it easily in my opinion.

A reassuring company to deal with

A reassuring company to deal with, offering extended cover with parts and servicing at home. Having been disappointed with equipment and lack of help with home gym equipment before, JTX seem the obvious solution with quality equipment and ready help if issues crop up. This was my first purchase from JTX, a Zenith Rise Cross Trainer with a Black Friday price reduction, still a big outlay for me. The delivery firms used by JTX are excellent, one delivering heavy items and one for smaller pieces; either way, the service was first class and very prompt. The Zenith Rise CT is a really heavy and gym comparable piece of equipment which I am absolutely delighted with, being a huge improvement on any home gym equipment I have had before. There was a quick opportunity to test JTX's helpfulness when the computer screen failed to come to life at all, Laura at JTX quickly and pleasantly sent me a replacement screen, which I have found to exceed my expectations in performance and versatility. I am really pleased with this Cross Trainer and happy to have the back up from JTX. I would thoroughly recommend both the company and the equipment.

3 issues so far..

In theory, pleased with the purchase, but several immediate issues that lead to a poor rating:

1. Delivery drivers threw the product around and wheel spun a Luton van on my gravel driveway, churning it up.
2. Damage to treadmill requiring us to get a replacement part and fit ourselves
3. Trip electrics each time switched on, and earthing cable hanging loose, still awaiting reply from company.

Not exactly the Christmas present we hoped for. I hope JTX resolve the remaining issue quickly.

Great service from start to finish

Product is very sturdy, slightly harder to lift down that I thought, but trade off worth it as machine is solid and looks like will last. Very good first impressions!
JTX very good kept informed of order and delivery on time and the guys were helpful.

very poorly designed equipment

puchased a pace x6 foldable cross trainer for a fortune, based on reviewed. it turns out you must be at least 6ft tall to be able to use it. no clarity in their selling description or any other product material. very poor design and despite being promoted as "compact" or "foldable" for saving space, it wastes a lot more space than a standard similar equipment because the arms are so wide that you lose half a room to accommodate it even when not moving/in use. when in use it takes even more space. would not recommend.

From a 72yr year old novice.

I am a 72yr year old that needs to exercise, I have no gym experience and was very concerned about buying an exercise machine. After a lot of Internet viewings, I decided upon JTX because their Web page was so informative, their attitude to customer service and quality of machine build seemed first class.
Their reviews were also very good. I can add to those reviews that my experiences with JTX have been 5 stars, they are helpful and sincere people. Highly recommend.
