Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 370 reviews, reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently highlight the platform's ease of use, describing it as simple, straightforward, and user-friendly for distributing music. Many appreciate the quick and efficient process of getting their songs onto major streaming platforms like Spotify, often noting that releases happen faster than expected. The service is also praised for being free, which is a significant advantage for many users, especially new artists. However, some customers were dissatisfied with certain aspects. A recurring concern is that music is not always distributed to all promised streaming services, specifically mentioning Apple Music and TikTok as missing platforms. Some users also reported issues with songs being rejected for unclear reasons, or experiencing delays and problems with their release dates. A few reviewers also noted that their accounts were restricted or deleted without explanation, and some encountered difficulties with their music being placed on cloned profiles or facing copyright issues despite creating original content.

Jumpster—more like Dumpster

Jumpster—more like Dumpster. They blocked my account, claimed copyright, and refused to provide me with my codes. They also lied about removing tracks—they said they would take everything down but removed nothing. It’s been well over a month. For anyone frustrated because they won’t give you your codes, there are ways to find them yourself online. You can search your songs on certain websites, and the sites will provide your codes, so you don’t actually need Jumpster at all. Once you switch to a new distributor, they no longer have access to your royalties or anything. My new distributor wasn’t as fast, but my music went up everywhere, including Apple and TikTok. Took 3 weeks. Which is the perfect amount if time to promote. I wouldn’t recommend using Jumpster at all. Yes, they are quick and free, but they are very deceitful.

I would give Jumpster zero stars if I…

I would give Jumpster zero stars if I could. They canceled my account, claiming copyright on my music. They said they would remove my tracks from my artist page, but only removed the lesser-performing artists while keeping the higher-performing artists’ tracks up. There are still two songs that I don’t have codes for that they have yet to remove from Spotify, while everything else I had was successfully moved to a new distributor where my music is now on Apple and TikTok with no copyright issues. It was run through multiple copyright detection programs beforehand and since. It’s clear that Jumpster is being dishonest—making claims, deleting accounts, leaving tracks up to collect royalties, and even refusing to provide artists with their codes. Luckily, I had mine, but not every artist does.

Edit April 3rd, 2026...

Their response is nothing more than a generic script meant to deflect. This catalog has already been cleared by several other copyright systems and a new distributor with zero issues found. Professional sites run extensive scans and do not upload tracks with copyright or sample conflicts. It is a pathetic business tactic to claim "fraud" as a canned excuse to ghost artists while simultaneously leaving that same music live on streaming platforms. If there were a legitimate copyright issue, the music would have been pulled immediately, not left active!

My music was removed and I was banned…

My music was removed and I was banned for "confirmed infringement".... whatever that means. I have written several times asking for an explanation. All of my music was written by me....lyrics, melodies, chords, arrangement, etc. I use no samples.

I keep asking what they mean by "confirmed infringement" but get the same response. 'You account is removed because of confirmed infringement".

I sure don't know what they are talking about. It's all original and all mine. Just find a better distributor. You don't want this one!

Scam company, never use it.

This scamming company removed all my songs for no reason and banned my account after i made some 5k dollars, then they refuse to help me move over the songs to another distributor. They are a rugpulling scam company, just pay for some other distributor, this is truly awful. (i have complete and full proof every millisecond of the songs were created by me)

I got an email that both of my songs were dissaproved

I got an email that both of my songs were dissaproved because of it having elements from another song of another artist. Like what??? Everything used in the songs was free for profit and I didn't use any samples of any other artist. Please don't use this distributor, the approving team sucks.

Account restricted for trying to re-release my own song

At first, Jumpstr seemed great: uploading and releasing songs was easy and fast. The problems started when I tried to include a previously released single on a new album. Their system kept flagging the track as copyright infringement—even though it’s my own song.

I followed their own advice from the website and took down the original release before trying again. After a few attempts, my account was suddenly “restricted due to a policy violation or unusual activity.”

The explanation I got was that my music violated policies against things like “Unauthorized samples” and “Music that doesn’t meet originality standards.” This makes no sense for two reasons:

I don’t use samples at all.
These “originality standards” are nowhere explained or documented.
My lyrics are unusual because they’re about statistics, but that should make them more original, not less.

What makes this extra frustrating is that the fix seems obvious:

Add a checkbox to mark a track as a previously released song, and
Let users enter the existing ISRC code.
Other platforms do this (e.g., YouAux, as far as I know), and it prevents exactly this kind of false flagging.

Instead, I ended up with a restricted account, vague accusations about my content, and no clear way forward.

Other annoyances: new artists, don’t expect your music to be released on TikTok or Apple Music, because Jumpstr is “actively working to integrate TikTok and Apple Music again.” This also means you can’t properly add lyrics, since that has to go via Musixmatch, which requires Apple Music artist verification.

Also here the solution is obvious: Provide a way to add lyrics directly in Jumpstr, instead of relying fully on Apple Music + Musixmatch.

Edit: Promises, promises. Two weeks later, still no getting back to me. Next album rejected for the same stupid reasons.

Efficient and Reliable.

The set-up and uploading process was extremely easy. I had little issues getting my files on, same with all of my titles and copyrights.

On top of this, they released my project way earlier than the original "earliest" time!
They've genuinely been great so far, and I plan to keep using them in the future!
