Just Blinds is a family owned company with an independent status originally based in St Helens, our blinds factory is now based in Wigan and we’ve been manufacturing and installing quality window blinds around the North West of England for over 14 years. We fit window blinds in all areas of Wigan, Bolton, Preston, St Helens, Liverpool, Manchester, Widnes, Chorley, Oldham and Warrington in addition to supplying window blinds all around the UK and even into Europe.

Didn't deliver and fit blinds on agreed day

Didn't deliver and fit blinds on agreed day. Partner booked a day off work for nothing. Called us hours before appointment leaving no opportunity to rearrange.

Heard nothing for five days until they called. Offered no discount whatsoever for their failures. I had to negotiate a discount of less than 9%.

They took no responsibility and pushed all blame onto their supplier. We have no further need for blinds, but if we do I shan't be using this company.

Would not recommend them whatsoever.

Hi Steve, as we’ve previously said on tbe review you’ve left on Google. We’re sorry that our service didn’t meet your expectations. We’ve reviewed the communication between you and the fitter and can see that the blind was originally manufactured in the incorrect fabric and this was discovered last Thursday. The blind was reordered on priority and arrived at the depot yesterday. We understand that the blind was fitted today. Whilst we fully understand that this has caused an inconvenience, we have as a gesture deducted more than 10% off the balance. We’re an independent family business and despite our best efforts, being human, sadly we do sometimes make mistakes. Please accept our apologies.

No show appointments

First of all, we had an appointment on Friday 4th August. The guy turned up without the Roman blind samples which I wanted. That wasn’t a problem. We rearranged immediately for Monday morning…he failed to show. I rang Just Blinds the following day to see what happened. The lady on the phone said she would ask him to give me a call, but he never did. I didn’t bother to follow it up because I probably don’t need to order my blinds from there if I’m struggling to have a consultation with them. Really disappointed because all the people I’d spoken to seemed really friendly.

Great service

From the first time meeting Kortez for measuring up to the blinds fitted it was a smooth experience. Ray who fitted the blinds was lovely and did a good job. I am so pleased with them. Transforms the whole front of my house. Thank you.

Lovely Blinds, Great Service and Fitting

Called into the shop and discussed blinds with Paul and Tanya, cheers my requirement after good advice, Paul called to measure up and arrived on agreed date. We recieved a very good quote and proceeded with the order...Expected fitting date was in 4 weeks and we had call to say they could fit today after 3 weeks.
Gary the filter attended today an was a really friendly guy, he did an amazing job fitting all the blinds to a high standard. No mess no issues an cleaned up after.
Big thanks to the whole team from start to finish.
Will use again and highly recommended.👍

Love love love my new roller blind

Love love love my new roller blind. High quality and the black out stuff on the back really works well as hardly any light comes through. Saving up to do the whole house in them now. Very helpful on the phone and would use them again no question. Joan

Avoid this company like the plague!

**Update** 10 months on these blinds are still totally acrid..avoid buying from the company waste of money. None caring attitude they have your money why would they care??

How I wish I taken time to read some of the reviews before ordering from this company.
I ordered PVC blackout blinds for my conservatory from Just Blinds. When the order was overdue I phoned to ask where my blinds were to be told the lady who makes them is off sick. Couple more days passed I phoned this time they were waiting for the fabric to arrive...more lies! I had also been told they were swamped with orders they could not fill.
Having received them they are totally unusable...the 'STENCH' of chemicals coming from the blinds is just unacceptable.
I phoned the company to be fobbed off they havent heard of this before and suggested I leave the windows open to clear the smell (security risk for a female living alone). Five days on I called them again to be told to leave my windows open again. I cant even leave my patio door open leading to my lounge the whole of my ground floor is filled with a chemical smell causing comments for everyone who has visited me.
Basically they seem to have acquired the blinds from a company in Manchester and are prepared to do nothing about it.
So, folks be prepared if there is anything wrong with the cheap nasty product that arrives nothing will be done about it.
I'm a pensioner and had to save up for these blinds in the first place and will now have to take these foul odourous blinds down and have bare windows until I can save up for more blinds.
So at your peril buy from these non caring people!
**Update on this review**
5 months on I am still unable to use my conservatory due to the toxic smell still coming off their blinds.
Cheap and nasty product would never buy from the company ever again!

Hi Lynne,

Sorry to hear that your blinds were delayed, We offer thousands of different fabrics and whilst some are stock items, others are ordered as we require them. The fabric that you ordered wasn't a stock item and it was also out of stock at the distributors, sadly this contributed to the delay.

In addition, the department that manufactures slats was under pressure due to illness that coincided with annual holiday leave. We're truly sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.

In regard to the smell that you're experiencing, this is because the PVC blackout slats are made from Poly Vinyl Chloride which is known to emit a smell short term, this is known as off gassing. Normally, this would take place in the warehouse and factory and by the time it reaches you the smell would have virtually eliminated.

As this fabric was out of stock and therefore your blinds were made with freshly made PVC fabric that hadn't been sat in storage, you're perhaps experiencing a stronger smell than you would normally. Heat also increases the strength of this smell but does however increase the speed of the process.

If you're able to ventilate your conservatory, at least during daylight hours either by putting the windows on night vent, or if you're able to, opening the doors then this outgassing process will speed up considerably,

Outgassing is common with any PVC product and is short lived, it's not as you state indicative of a cheap and nasty product.

Amazing blinds, great service!

I am absolutely made up with my new blinds. They look great and way more expensive than they were. Easy to arrange, everything went like clockwork, and the whole team where polite and friendly. A* would recommend.

Invisible blinds

They arranged a home visit to measure the windows and suggest best solutions. This was done professionally, quickly and to the highest standard. Unfortunately, that's where it ends.
We ordered blinds with expedited delivery due to holiday plans and other reasons. They were meant to be fitted in two weeks. They were not. Nobody contacted us about the possible delay, or with any update really. After days of calling the office, someone finally called us back saying they will be a few days late. A full week later they called again saying that the blinds we ordered are out of stock and we need to pick different ones. They were meant to be fitted within 3 days. Another week later, and still no blinds, we were told that we can't cancel the order and change our minds and they will install the blinds when they do.
Human decency would dictate that at the very least you reimburse the "expedited fitting" charge...

Replacement vertical blinds

I ordered replacement vertical blinds, and opted for the lucky dip offer. I was not disappointed, they are perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and the service is second to none. I emailed with a query before I received my order, and the response was back with in a couple of hours. Highly recommend and I will be reordering for my other windows.

Look no further than just blinds

Had some motorized blinds on our bi-folds and a couple of velux blinds.
Great quality. And completed the modern look we were aiming to achieve.
Came with a nice remote and very easy to use.
All the staff from booking a quote up to lawrence who came and measured up and show us the extensive samples, to the lads who fitted them, were very professional.
Now looking at where else we can put motorized blinds.

Highly reccomended company professional quality and masters in their field. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
