This company is horrible! The app is hard to use and will not allow you to pay your bill ahead of time. Customer service? What customer service!? I have called several times to ask about my bill. The last time I called, I said I was going to have to look for a new company. The answer from the rep was I would “not find one with these rates.” Well, he was right about that: I found one with lower rates!
I have experienced the same things The other reviews here have shared. I am ashamed SAMs club even allowed this company into their building.

Do not conduct business with these individuals. I had cancelled my service due to the outlandish fees and they continued to bill me for three months, stating the account had to “run its course”. Completely unwarranted and in violation. I will be submitting a formal complaint to the PUC. Run from this company!!!

I signed up with them at Sam’s Club, I was a little skeptical because I had been with reliant for almost 8 years, but recently my rate and bill went up with reliant so I was open to save money. The rep walked me through everything smoothly and I see a difference on my bill, I have the free nights plan which is working out well because of how big my discount is every month!! and finally i don’t have to worry about centerpoint fees!!

BEST RATES IN ALL HOUSTON! If you’re looking for a cheaper rate definitely sign up at Sam’s Club for the free nights promotion, there is a lot of benefits for signing up in store! My last bill was at an average price of 5.96¢ per kWh!! Def recommend switching with Just Energy at Sam’s because outside rates are different!

Please someone save me from this company.My bills will make me go bankrupt soon.

I HAVE JUST RECEIVED A BILL WITH A CHARGE FROM JUST ENERGY FOR OVER 1100.00 DOLLARS ! IVE TRIED CALL THE 833 NUMBER GIVEN TO ME BY DELMARVA POWER AND IVE BEEN HUNG UP ON 3 TIMES. HOW DO I HAVE A ALMOST 1300 DOLLAR POWER BILL FOR A 2 BEDROOM MOBILE HOME WHICH IS HEATED BY A PELLET STOVE AND COOLED WITH 1 750 WATT AC ? I HAVE A CREDIT SHOWING ON MY BILL FROM DELMARVA IN JANUARY FOR 495 62 CENTS THEN FOR FEBRUARY MY BILL IS 611 AND SOME CHANGE WHY BECAUSE THERE IS AN 1100 DOLLAR CHAGE FROM JUST ENERGY. THEIR CLAMIN TO SAVE YOU MONEY SIGN UP AS WE WERE IN SAMS CLUB THE GUY TOOK MY PHONE AND SCROLLED THROUGH THE TEXT HE HAD SENT ME AND SAID CLICK HERE TO GET 45 DOLLAR SAMS CLUB GIFT CARD. I GOT 25 UP FRONT THEN THE REST WAS SUPPOSED TO COME IN THE MAIL VUT I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THAT. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH LIEING AND BAIT AND HOOK COMPANY ALL FULL OF LIES. PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW I CAN GET HELP LET ME KNOW IM ABOUT TO GET MY POWER SHUT OFF.

I can't understand why does this company have so many negative reviews... My experience with this company was cool, because I required a good energy supplie and finally I got it due to this company, its managers and the technologies they daily implement into he development of their company.

Of course, some people always wait for something exclusive and beneficial, but there is nothing beneficial in our world. Everything you face you have to pay, you pay for quality, you pay for good technologies and so on. I personally had no issues with this company and I am glad that once I have applied to it.

Very bad service ever i never recommended anyone i have getting bill every time even through i quited since January.I always call to customer service to solve this problem never get helped.

Constantly spam calling my office. These guys will not quit. Anyone else having this problem?

They post sales Reps at Sam's clubs and other venues and market (at least for Sams) getting a free gift card if you take back your right to choose energy services from your provider . Then ask for your number to send you a DocuSign, at which when you load it up you get told 'just click through that it's just confirming you are 18 to receive the gift card'. Luckily, I know to pause and read and if you read you will see the very high potential cost your bill will be and that it is a 3 year contract. Their Reps 100% lie to you about what they want you to sign . This company needs a class action brought against it in my opinion.

Do not use this company. I signed up with a capped rate of $7.90 and the first month I used their service I was charged $8.52 per MCF. At that time Consumers Energy's rate was $3.69 per MCF. I was told by JE that their rates were comparable to Consumers Energy. JE tells a good story but isn't honest about what you're actually getting.

This company is a joke DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM for 15 days they are charging 196.08 I don’t even pay that for an entire month with my previous one I changed back because the door to door representative lied to me to begin with about switching my company I clearly asked him and he said no smh learned from my mistake never again run from this company it’s honestly the worst

Still waiting for a call back from their so called rep who was going to reach out after my recent review. And Still trying to cancel this scam of a service. Don’t fall for it.

On March 3rd,2022 I was at Sams club shopping and I got scammed into this contract. I want out after reading all the reviews.

My wife signed us up for service at Sams on Fuqua in Houston (Sunday 2/6/22) around 10am, after reading all these bad reviews, I called to the “VIP number “ given , they are closed on Sunday and followed that up immediately with an email to cancel the service at 1pm . According to the attachments that were sent, I have 3 Federal days to cancel. This is all very disheartening to read, knowing that Sams Club allows this to happen in their store. I will be posting an update as soon as I get a response.

UPDATE 3/21/22 We were able to get our contract canceled , But i still feel bad for all the others who had difficulties with Just Energy. We all work hard for our money and we don't need others trying to take it away , if any Energy company is offering a rate , just give that low rate without the need of a "credit" to make it out come out to what you originally promised. No double talk just be straight.

Scammers, predatory sales people and tactics. They should be shut down

I’m only giving a 1 because there are no negative numbers to give. I too, like many other reviewers was scammed at Sams club. I was told my bill would be the same and I just got a bill for $524. I am beyond livid! I was told my gas bill was $87 and Just Energy charged me $140 in one month. I am making sure my friends and family don’t use them. I was told I could cancel but it would take 2 billing cycles. This needs to be resolved ASAP because I will be taking matters further because this is completely BS!!!!!!!

I was scammed into signing up at Sam's club. The rep - Carlos Vasquez Ruiz 2007054 - made it seem like a great deal and assured me I was not signing up for anything yet, merely providing information to then sign up. I should have read more carefully, as I had indeed signed a contract. Upon reading reviews and comparing to my electric bills (I noticed my current rates are much lower than what was being offered), I called to rescind the contract. I spoke with Juan 75474 who put me on hold 2 separate times and tried to convince me to keep my contract with better rates (still hight than my current rates). I was insistent that he cancel. He told me he put the cancellation through and I would receive an email in a few days. He would not provide me with a confirmation number. I have email 2 different customer service emails asking to confirm the cancellation and have also reached out to my current energy company to ensure they do not stop or switch my service. I am ready to have to hound these people to cancel, but I regret being so thoughtless. The reps at Sam's club are poachers and should not be allowed there. I will be complaining to my local Sam's club and relaying my story.

DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS COMPANY! We were scammed into switching and our rates when up three fold. When we tried to cancel, they allowed us to but said it will not happen for another 2 billing cycles, so we are stuck paying a ridiculous rate, 3 times the rate we were paying before for the next 2 months. DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS COMPANY!!!!

I would stay away from this company it's a fraud the lure you in with a gift card that you don't get and than my electric bill went up 200 dollars it was so much that I plan on talking to a lawyer this company needs shutdown !!
