I made a booking to have the front…
I made a booking to have the front tyres installed on 11th of May 24. Everything was ok to start with and had the tyres installed in about 40 mins. No fuss about this, but two days after I started to hear some very bad noise coming from under the front part of the car. I was not sure I knew where the noise was coming from. I did not think this would be coming from brand new tyres.
I took the car to a local garage for a check. The garage put the car up on the car lift to check closely what the problem was. The garage found out that both tyres were loose and were not tight enough and were causing the noise. This is a massive negligence and a misconduct from the Justtyres side. It could have been very dangerous driving in fast roads and motorway, but luckily I did not have to go anywhere far those days. The garage charged me a small fee of £40, not necessarily for tightening the tyres, but for having to put the car up on the car lift and for spending about 15-20 mins.
I called Justtyres in Potters Bar, where I had my tyres installed and complained about this. One of the managers called me shortly after my complain and he was not very convinced this might have happened since as he put it, they have a proper process in place to make sure these things would not happen and added that the tyres should have had some marks/notation, T letter, on the side as an indication it was tested. I did not pay any attention on the day, since I did not assume there would be any problem, but I did not see any mark of any letter on the side 2-3 after the installation. I told that manager that you may have a proper process in place, but this is what it happened to me. He asked me to go to the local garage and get the full report, but the local garage was not a main dealer with proper office and printers and did not bother to give me any report. I wrote to the Justtyres manager to say what the local garage said and also send photos of the tyres to prove there were no marks of any T letter on the side, but there was no follow-up call or any apology about this and hence decided to live this bad comment.
I will make sure I will avoid Justtyres in future.
