JYSK: Scandinavian Hell & Trash Living
Jysk is so trash. We HATE and DESPISE jysk. My friend walked into the store last Sunday and they treated her like GARBAGE. 🗑️ She wanted to buy a washing machine for twelve quid but they sold it to her for two hundred!!!! 😱😱😱 AND THEN THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO GIVE HER CHEEK AND NOT GIVE HER A REFUND. They kicked her out because she couldn’t afford it. TERRIBLE SERVICE I HOPE THIS BUSINESS DROWNS IN MISERY!!! They also body shamed her. It’s not even Scandinavian it’s made in CHINA!!🇨🇳

Visited JYSK in Little Island today to purchase a number of items;
1 Eyelet curtains--asked for help; told they're upstairs
2 Inquired about matresses--same type of answer--they're upstairs
3 I intended purchasing , curtains, a matress and a sofa plus a couple of chairs--no interest in me as a customer, no initiative, couldn't care less and the store was very untidy --I left!
Online order never came - chased and was told it was 6 weeks away!!
Didn’t even get what I ordered so no idea if products are bad like the reviews I’ve just discovered online. I ordered 2.5 weeks ago. Was told last week that my order would be in store by last Saturday. Never arrived. Went in to store today and was told order was “in transit” and should be there soon. Managed to get a reply from online chat this afternoon (after trying for 2 days), and was told my order would be 6 more weeks away!!! Unreal. What a waste of my time. I cancelled order and will never shop Jysk again. Now I just have to hope the refund arrives.
They might not have the right parts in the boxs
Service was rubbish, but worse was the waste of money and time putting the rubbish together. They had the wrong pieces in the box and when I went back it was almost a given that it would be wrong. It's 50/50 if what you get has the parts to make it.Save your money and go to IKEA
Blanchardstown Jysk
Purchased a shoe rack in Blanchardstown. When assembling it the pre drilled holes werent there. Brought it back (and its heavy). Never in my life have i seen such rude unhelpful staff. No manners, not even a please or thank you never mind any type of apology. Shocking customer service, wouldnt buy anything there again.

Had to return a faulty product to Jysk blanchardstown, the staff were very rude awful customer service had me feeling like returning the faulty product was a burden to them. never going in there again awful.
my recent experience with JYSK…
my recent experience with JYSK regarding the use of Humm finance and the extremely poor customer service I received across two of your stores at Mahon Point and Eastgate.
I was informed that JYSK accepts Humm finance, so I proceeded accordingly. However, when I went to the Mahon Point store to collect a reservation, I was told that they do not accept Humm at that location. This was already frustrating, as this information was not made clear beforehand.
To resolve the issue, I then went to your Eastgate store, where the situation became even more unacceptable i made a reservation online to be told that its not available even though online it was showing 6 available The employee I spoke with told me she did not know how to process a Humm transaction and stated that she had not been trained to do so. I was then informed that the only person who knows how to use Humm only works on weekends.
This level of service is absolutely unacceptable. If JYSK advertises or claims to accept Humm finance, staff should be properly trained across stores, and customers should not be sent from one location to another only to be met with confusion and lack of knowledge. Customers should also not be expected to plan their shopping around one specific employee’s work schedule.
This experience has been a complete waste of my time and reflects very poorly on your customer service standards. I expect a clear explanation as to why this happened and what steps JYSK will take to ensure staff are properly trained and customers are given accurate information going forward.
Staff are rude

Disappointed
Hi. Went today to Jysk in Dundalk retail park, got my self 2 chairs for the kitchen i have back problems and I can't lift anything more then 1kg. Waited in queue
till other customers get served and waited for my turn to someone come and help me to bring box to my car, but the attitude what I received from one of the staff members it was unbelievable, I felt like I would be a person, customer, no hello no can I help you, only what I received move your car on yellow lines, and let your chairs down. It was so rude, I was really disappointed.
Terrible customer service
Very poor customer service from this store today. I purchased a very heavy item of furniture. I asked the man who brought it to me if he could help me lift it into the car which was parked less than 20 metres away. He refused and left it at the door of the shop. Thankfully a very kind member of the public came to my aid.
Poor product quality, warranty refusal, and unacceptable customer service
I purchased a county crown curtain pole for
€32.50 from JYSK in Santry, Dublin approximately five months ago. From the outset, the quality appeared poor, but I installed it and hoped it would last. After a couple of months of normal use, one bracket broke, making the curtains difficult to open and close. Last week, a second bracket broke, leaving the pole unusable.
I returned the item to the JYSK Santry store to report the fault. I was told by a shop assistant there that it was “too late” to return it as there was no proof the product was faulty, despite JYSK advertising a 2-year warranty on their products. This assistant said the warranty only covered products that were faulty when they were bought. She then said if I had brought it back after perhaps 3 months then that would be different, but 5 months was too long. It was like she was making it up as she went along.
Under Irish consumer law, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and reasonably durable, which this product clearly was not.
When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none would be available until Saturday, even though it was Thursday. Another staff member then stated that the brackets could not have broken unless someone had broken them. When I questioned why I would remove a faulty item after months of use and return it to the store, he implied that I could be attempting to “scam” the company and said he had no proof that I wasn’t.
I found this implication extremely shocking and completely unprofessional. As a genuine customer seeking a resolution under warranty and my statutory consumer rights, I expected fair treatment and respect, not suspicion.
I have also noticed that JYSK does not appear to respond to customer reviews on Trustpilot, which further gives the impression that customer concerns are not taken seriously. Based on this experience, I would strongly question both the quality of JYSK’s products, their training of staff and their commitment to customer service when issues arise.
0 star if possible.. false advertising!
0 star if possible! November 10... Ordered 2 wardrobes, dining table and chairs, took advantage of the black friday sale from their website, note, order cannot be placed unless it shows in stock online... Delivery stated on website around 14 business days as they're using a different courier... We were ok with that.. it's now a few days before Xmas and we don't have any of our furniture... Customer service contacted several times, was told courier will get in touch 1st December, text message received day before saying due to stock shortage it'll be the 8th of December when we get contacted by courier... No contact made.... I rang them again and a lad explained it's a stock issue, they're not sure when it's arriving... I was confused because if your website says it's available to order online then stock should be available... Branches have some of the items and apparently they don't deal with the branches as they have a separate shipping policy?? Xmas in a few days and no clue if we are ever getting our orders... It's misleading and false advertising... Also money was taken on account and was pending in my bank for almost a week... Then returned to account... Confusing service.. misleading...
Excellent service
I was skeptical about my order, once I read through the reviews after I made a purchase with JYSK. Anyway my experience with this company is very satisfying.
Got my sofa bed today which I ordered on 30 th November. So it took about 10 to 12 days. Everything as expected.
Thanks a lot
